No. It's not just the elevator that's falling, you are too. When you jump, you're just moving away from the elevator; you're still falling. It would be much safer to lie down on the floor of the elevator, since you'd have more surface area to distribute the g-forces(you probably wouldn't have time to do this, though). Elevators have a whole bunch of safety mechanisms that prevent you from falling, so don't worry about it.

You can, but your parents need to sign some of the paperwork.
If you buy a share of some company at $15 dollars, and they are successful, the price of the shares will go up(to $20, for example); if you wanted to buy more shares you'd have to pay $20 instead of $15. You can then sell your shares for $20, and you've made $5 profit per share. You have to actually sell the shares to make money, they don't just send you a check.
You want to buy when the company is doing poorly, but you think they will make money soon. You want to sell when the company is doing very well, but you don't think they could do any better. Take a look at this:

The prologue to Acts I and II are sonnets, and so is Romeo and Juliet's first dialog in Act I scene 5. That's all there are, there isn't one(or more) per act, just the three.

ok so im making a graphics site and i have images as links and i want to make the image have a cute design when you scroll over it so whats the code to make the image change when you scroll over it?
Here's an example of that effect. I've replaced http colon slash slash with hxxp\\ so it doesn't change it into a link:

It switches between the advicenators and google logos. This won't work on myspace, only sites that allow javascript. There's no way to do it without javascript. There might be a more elegant solution for what you need(so you don't have to make two new functions for each image), but I don't want to mess with it right now.

My whole life I've been told and thought I'm stupid. Because I'm not school-book smart. I don't get good grades in the "smart subjects" like science, math and so on. I am so sick of believing this. I'm a different type of smart. I know I can make something of myself.
I am especially good at 3 things; public speaking & reaching out to people, languages (I know 4 different languages and intend on learning several more) and I sympathize, more than anything. People always turn to me because of that, I long to help. More than anything.
I've researched at least a hundred different professions in my attempt to find a major that will equip me with the right tools to help save the innocent from the corrupt and ultimatley change the world. I need a profession that will make me come alive. I have a picture of myself speaking infront of thousands of people, touching their hearts, or working at a homless shelter, somehow helping those who have been used, or anything of that kind. But in BIG levels, it wouldn't mean anything to me as a doctor or anything like that. It's not the kind of thing that would make me come alive, it wouldn't matter to me. I don't want to help one person at a time, I want to help thousands.. at once. I want to do something that would end homelessness and stimulate world peace!
I am compassionate and am able to provide stability in people's lives when they are shaken up. I am 16 years old, female, and more than anything.. I want to do something with my life.
No one believes in me, because I am not suited for the typical "good jobs" I will never have the grades to become a Lawyer, Doctor, Journalist or any of the sort.
Help me, what can I become? And how do I get there?

The symbol is on the far right, it's 1 or 2 letters. 5 decagrams=5deg, 5 decigrams=5dg. Put the prefix symbol(above) and then the symbol for gram(g), meter(m), or liter(L).

Symbol meaning would be with the abbreviation: 4hm, for example. Name meaning is with the spelled out name, like 4 hectometers.
In your schoolwork, I think they want you to simplify the number they give you into the nearest symbol or name. .1m to 1dm(decimeter), for example.
