Download the CCCP and it will work in most players:

If it doesn't work in your player of choice, use the included Media Player Classic. The CCCP works on more things than VLC.

If it doesn't work after installing the CCCP, then it's using some obscure codec. Send me a private question if that happens.

It could be the format of the movie. I recommend downloading a free player called VLC Media Player (www.videolan.org) and after installing that, try playing it through that. I've had some problems with movies not working with sound though various players before (usually a codec problem of some sort I would imagine) but then playing it through VLC usually works perfectly.

If it doesn't work through there then the best thing to do is download another version. As the other person said, sometimes people upload poor quality stuff including stuff without sound - especially on limewire.

Where did you download it from?
If it is from a place like limewire, it probably wasn't attached with sound.

Try downloading a differnt version. :]
