I work for a solicitor in a town in Australia. This morning my boss came out to me and another work mate and told us that we may have to start looking for new jobs in the next few weeks.
He told us that he's going to have to close the business because he will be declared bankrupt if he can't do anything about it before the 16th of April!
I don't want to lose my job, I love working here! The girls are great, I like the work, but we are struggling for money every week to pay us!
Is there anyway at all that I could possibly do something to help my boss keep his business going?
I feel so sorry for him, he has no family and his life is dedicated to this place! I just want to help him out.

Maybe you and your co-workers could organize a fundraiser to help the business, maybe sell some things or something?
Sorry, I don't know much about fundraisers so I can't really tell you much about them but it might raise some money to keep the business open a bit longer to think of something even better.

What a creep. What you need to do is threaten him, that you will go to the cops and rat him in. If that doesn't scare him you need to actually do it, he's blackmailing you and that is illegal.

k i have this friend and shes 16 and we're like really close... shes really sweet and teachers love her, all honors classes, honor roll, the whole deal. but lately shes been like rebelling a lot i guess and i don't like it at all. i mean i'm finee with alcohol and i'm even ok that she does pot once in a while.. but now shes like hooking up with random older drunk and she wants to have sex with one of them... but i think she'll really regret it later.. i mean shejus met the kid and they're not gonna go out. and also shes going to this party for st patricks day this weekend that im esp. worried about.. in order to get there she has to drive her and her friends and she only has her permit! so like.. if she gets pulled over i'm really scared.. plus there's gonna be more intense drugs at this party that i really don't like. i try to tell her she's making a mistake but she won't listen and tells me to 'live for today' ... idk am i being to harsh?? are there any specific ways to tell her? and getting new friends is not really an option for me. trust me, its not gonna work. thanks =/ (link)

If she's usually a good student it sounds like something has gone wrong in her life and she's let go.
This is the typical movie scene, drinking, drugs and hooking up.
Maybe you should confront her about her actions and ask what's wrong and be a good friend. If not, you have to tell someone. She'll be angry at you at first but in the end she'll be thanking you.

Is there any natural ways I can get better with stuff in my house?
I'm not sick but I got this nasty feeling in my throat which I get before I'm sick so I'm trying to prevent it.
I coughed once in a while (it's only my mouth and throat, nothing else) because it feels liek something's stuck in my throat so I thought if I washed it away I would feel better so I drank different juices and water but all it did was make me pee three times more then usual. (link)

It sounds like you have what I had a few days ago...
Right now I'm sick at home missing out on school.
There's not much you can do, maybe take some vitamins? If you have any mouthwash gargle it and try to get it as deep in your throat as you can without swallowing it. That will kill germs in your throat and hopefully make it feel a bit better.

Don't worry there's so many people like you who do nothing. What you should do is find people who do nothing also. Or you could try to find an activity you like and then make friends from that.
And friends don't always have to have everything in common, some of my friends have nothing in common with me.

I need some links to sites that offer a lot of cool DIY punk clothing ideas and accesories- like patches and stuff. Anything that has how-to guides and the like would be much appreciated.
Also, I have neck-length, thick, wavy hair and I want to punk it out without dyeing it. I usually dye it every few months and I need to take a break from it and let my hair heal. Tips? Thanks muchly.

I don't know any websites but when I want to "punk out" my clothes I just go to the local oppurtunity shop, buy baggy clothes I think look good, buy a few safety pins and rip holes and do stuff with the safety pins. There are also shops that sell patches, band ones, funny ones ect. so just go and buy some from there. It cuts the price in half from buying online (I think they rip off people online) and you're more satisfied you really have DIY.
And with your hair you could get it cut shorter and get it into a faux hawk or something...and if you don't want to just use gel and make it messy all the time, the messy hair look isn't used much in the punk community anymore (Not in the scene I live in anyways), so you really will be different

I'm not a big fan of techno...but every heard of Cascada? I like her songs. She's good.
Theres also a pretty old techno song called "Sandstorm" by "Da Rude" if you downloaded it you'd recognize it.

Its that time of age when everything changes!
I've been getting a lot of discharge lately& yes I've already started my period.

My mother gave both my partner and myself a $100 check for Christmas, as she did for her kids, inlaws and grandchildren.
Being the third and last child and being gay I have always felt forgotten, and not treated too well.
For example, two years ago for her birthday I called two weeks in advance and asked if I could take her out for dinner. "Stay home and send me a card" was her response. The day before her birthday she called to say my brother had asked her out and asked if I wanted to come.
Last year she wanted the family to help with her party. We all had to wear name tags and my partner's said "friend" where everyone elses said "son in law," "daughter" etc. Both he and I were always there for her, when she broke her ankle, when my dad passes away etc.
So I don't want her stinking money but I don't want to offend her either.
She called today and left a message about why the check didnt' clear. My partner said to use the "my dog ate it," but I'd just like to say I don't want her money. A card with a sincere message would mean a lot more than a $100 check.

You're very polite, being nice to your mother after all she's done for you. But that proves you're the bigger person here.
But you should just tell her your thoughts. If she got offended you can't help it that's the way you feel.

i know this girl and we have been best friends for the past three years. the thing is, i do not get attached easily. unfortunately, she does. i've been thinking about cutting her loose for a while now, i mean she's conceited, rude, melodramatic, and jealous. i do care about her, because i know that she is a good person with good intentions. we just dont fit together anymore. anyway shes really, really emotional and i don't want to tell her that we shouldn't be friends anymore, and she's in my math class and i don't want to have to see her everyday, i mean that's so awkward. she hangs out with me EVERY DAY so it's just habit by now, and it's hard to kind of limit the amount of time we spend together because she really notices, u know? anyway, i guess my point is, help? There's only one thing to do besides talk to her and it would end in a big mess and a big fight and hurt feelings.
If you're too scared to talk to her (At least sit her down and explain whats happening) just try and fade away from being friends. Don't exactly ignore her and blow her off but just start to slightly fade and fade.

I know the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem. So i've covered step one but I don't know what to do now. I have a problem with depression which results in hurting myself and I don't know what to do to stop being sad and stop all of this. What do I do besides go to a phyciatrist or the school counciler. Well you've admitted you have a problem and that's good. Step two would probably be a personal thing. Maybe re search about it on the internet what you should do...or do something that makes you feel better. Do things you love and not let depression get you down.

So this whole year has been nothing but trouble for me and this one particular boy. He finally broke up with his girlfriend and then after that we were basically together and everyone thought it was so cute...then he started getting confused and liked this other girl, but i got rid of her..haha...then MY FRIEND went behind my back and told him i didnt have feelings for him anymore!! Lets just say we arent friends anymore...he was "talking" to her for like 2 weeks and then he ended it with her and sort of came back to me...i dont know if he likes me..but that same friend called me and was like i think he likes you...but i dont know what to think about this...he just asked me to prom and im super excited...does he like me again? Argh, he sounds like a jerk.
It looks like he likes you but be careful, he might ditch you again just before prom. So maybe you should have back up plans just in case, even if you just think about them in your head.
Also: be careful he might only want to go as friends and your "friend" is getting your hopes up.

I was diagnosed with Endometriosis over 4 years ago. I've had 2 surgeries to treat it, been on Lupron for a year and I am STILL having tons of problems.
The most problematic issue right now is that when i have sex or masterbate, and if I have an orgasm I immediatly afterwards am boiled over in pain. It's a very intense pain and usually lasts about 5 minutes or more. Recently, I have noticed that I bleed right afterwards as well. It's not a lot of blood, but still it's pretty scary.
I've seen countless gynos and no one has any suggestions on how to help, or any idea of what could be wrong. I'm just so frustrated.
I'm lucky to be with a very loving boyfriend who understands and helps how he can. But i'm tired of not being able to enjoy sex for fear of the pain. I just have no idea what to do. (link)

How often are you masturbating or having sex? If it's pretty often maybe you slow it down?

The age of sexual consent is 16 for adults who are under 24 years of age,
or if the adult that is 24 years of age or older is married to the minor.
does that mean he cant get into trouble if we are dating and/or do anything sexual?

I'm 95% sure that means you are allowed to date, but if anything gets sexual it's illegal. He could get charged with rape.

Wash out dye usually never stays in, it's not strong enough and it washes out easily. So the chances are very slim that it will affect your natural hair colour in the long run.

I'm 15/f. I love my mom I really do, but all she does is complain about how unperfect we are. Me and my sister are adopted and it seems like she regrets it everyday. It's always "I've never seen children so iressponsible/filthy/stupid." Me and my sister try we really do. Here's the question: What am I supposed to do if she's never happy with me?

Wow, that really is not nice. How long has she adopted you? If it's for a short time you really should tell someone because that is not right. People to tell can be teachers, or an adult that cares about you. You could even ring up the adoption service too. If she's adopted you for a long time she could be going through a rough time so maybe help her through it or offer to talk. Or give her space. But don't let her walk all over her.
But if she continues to do this it's not right. Like I said before: Tell someone. That can be considered as child abuse.
