Cleaning DOWN THERE

Question Posted Monday March 12 2007, 9:48 pm

13/f

Its that time of age when everything changes!

I've been getting a lot of discharge lately& yes I've already started my period.

I just need a way to keep myself clean and odor-free down there.

Any HOME REMEDIES or certain ways to clean down there?

It's normal, and for cleaning your self just use mild soap and also use like pantie liners.

That's normal if the dicharge is white but if it is foamy and is comes as green or yellow then it is an abnormal discharge. See a gyno if this happens.Other than that if it white, then its just healthy its getting the bacteria out. The way to keep yourself clean is just use regular unscented soaps, don't use anything with perfumes and stuff like that, it will irritate it and can cause more bacteria. Don't use douche either, I've used it and then I was told that it wasn't good. Make sure that when you wash you used clean panties after it. Hope this helps.

well technically discharge is cleaning "down there". You don't want to make it stop! And yes I know it's annoying, but it's just a fact of life. Discharge is just "cleansing yourself" hehe. Yeah sorry for the bad news.
