My name is Devin Lindsey or Vinny as my sister calls me! I am 17 years old and go to Bethel Park High school. I loooove swimming along with dancing, singing, and playing softball. I also run varsity track with is alright i supose too.


My favorite colors are orange, pink, and blue. I love to be crazy and have a good time

I've had a job working for 15+ monthes so I can answer alot about that

and I know alot about relationships in general so I can be helpful with that sometimes

especially with parent child relationships


I am a very observant person and tend to know more and care about more than most my age


and I really believe in volunteering to help animals especially at shelters. Usually its not their fault that they have to live their and its usually horrible cercimstances that bring them there and I feel terrible that they can't speak for themselves and people are too caught up in spending like $500 on this cute little pure breed puppy from a breeder just into getting rich instead of giving one of these dogs another chance at life (there are usually a handful of dogs under a year old so the i want a puppy excuse doesn't work with me)

My baby is named Lainey Mae... we got her from a shelter about 2 hours away from us when she was 7 weeks old. she is now 2 years old and the center of our family. unfortunately someone was cruel enough to go down and drug up and shoot (but luckly not kill) most of the dogs plus rob the owner (just like someone did at the shelter where I volunteer) and its now shut down

I wanna dye my hair pink, but not permanent maybe like a week, or sumthing, but not more than 2 weeks. How can I do it? I mean like where can i find the dye? or can i do in naturally? with like with stuff i hav from my house? i heard coolaide (sp) works or sumthin! I hav dark brown hair, please help?1 thnx

i got this stuff from giant eagle and its supose to last 1 week but it only has lasted a day or two for me because i went swimming with it in but it goes in like real hair dye and ur hair still feels like hair when u are done with it like it doesnt look weird. i think the stuff is by loreal and its great

im 14 years old. My mom isnt working right now so we dont have alot of money. The clothes i wear are american eagle, aeropostale, hollister, and abercrombie mostly. Well for school my mom said i cant get alot of clothes unless i buy them with my own money. i was wondering if anyone knew a way i could make money for some clothes. The place that i live at there arent that many kids, so i cant baby sit around here. Does anyone have any ideas?

i no you can work at mcdonalds at 14 but first i would try not buying clothes at those places like sometimes you would be surprised what you can find at others places like if you go to platos closet if you have one they have used name brand stuff really nice and cheap and also if u have a gabriel brothers that sells stuff from like aero american eagle and hollister and stuff that they couldnt sell in stores.. most of it is really nice stuff too

is proactive really good for acne? i mean.. i dont get REAL bad acne but when i get pimples they get real red ..so do you think proactive is right for me and how much is it? where can i get it

i think it seams over rated its worked for alot of people but ive figured out it doesnt work for all my acne isnt that mad like you cant tell but if u look upclose i have alot of it. also proaciv is really expensive i believe my mom pays like $60 a set that last like a month or 2

I babysit every Sunday for 3 kids. 2 girls ages 5 and 7, and one boy who is 9. I bring coloring books and board games, but after a while we just run out of stuff to do!!! These kids get bored easily, and everything I own that they would like, they have used. After a while, I become bored and very tired, and so every week i am reluctant to go. What should I do, and quitting is NOT an option!

well if the weather is nice some sort of sport related thing can keep kids interested for a while like wiffle ball or basketball

hey....im 13 and this lady calls me everyday asking me to babysitt her kids...i already told her that my mom said i cant because i already babysit 2 other kids and i have homework...and a life but she keeps on calling asking me to babysitt them....mind you she has like 5 kids...and she has a older son then me that can watch them so why does she need me to watch them???

i have oil blotting sheets from clean and clear, but I dont know if that would keep the oil n shinyness away for a long time

use like oxy pads in the morning then let ur face dry and use powder foundation.. works for me

My eyelashes are really long meaning i cant wear Mascara becuase it makes them look even longer and weird. is there any mascara i can buy (that they sell in England) that will be ok for long eyelashes and wont make them look really long? thanks

I mean the grls are really nice and we all get along and i wouldnt mind going, but the thing is i dont really know the coach well enough where i would feel comfterble with sleeping over there. But i want to. So sould i just go over there but not sleep over or what?

Hi. I'm 15, I weigh 120 pounds, I'm 5'4, and I do have to admit that the pounds are fat not muscle. But I wouldn't say I'm HUGE just chubby. Well my family are all very thin. My 17 yr. old sister is 110 pds, my 13 yr old sister is 100 pounds, my mom weighed 103 pounds when she was married at age 25! (the only reason she weighs more than me today is because she had kids), and my dad weighs...well he's a stick for a guy. I get my looks from my Aunt and Grandpa. I just recently joined a gym to help turn the fat to muscle more, to tone myself. But the problem lies in the family. They always call me fat. Like my sisters, if they get upset with me, they hurl the insult "your fat" at me. My parents both call me fat also. I don't think they mean any harm of it, but it really hurts. Every time someone says something I retreat to my room and cry. They don't know how much it hurts because I really do think I'm FAT. Finally today I just broke down crying and told them how I felt about them always calling me fat and my mom said I was just trying to get pity. What can I say to make them realise this really hurts my feelings when they all say this! The only persons who apologized for calling me fat is my little sister. I have 0 self esteem and I think this plays a small part in this.

They arent doing it to be mean they just no maybe that thats what gets u annoyed and parents like to do that. if you were really fat they would never call you that. Tell them that you don't like being called fat and it really hurts you.. or maybe come up with an insult that would hurt them ask much as what they say hurts you and they will know how you feel.

14/m.. 8th grade
at my school there aren't any girls my type. they are all stuck up and preppy. at the other school i have a lot of friends. i know i would fit in over there. there are so many hott girls that are so fun to be with. whenever i hang out with them i have a great time, but they are at a different school which makes it hard to have relationships. what should i do?

i thought my school was like that and in middle school we were seperated based on how we dressed and what we liked and stuff but you will notice in highschool that just because they are preppy doesnt mean that they arent like you best friend trust me eventually you will find someone you like even if you hate them now one of you guys will come around and you will start likeing each other not based on what you are into really. i dont know if i make any sence but in the end you will all find something in common and wont hate each other by their "group"

um well jogging or walking every day should help. watch what you eat and i found out that you can loose a good bit a weight playing sports like basketball and softball just for fun for a couple of hours or so. also aerobics work and stuff

School work. I have a hella load of it to do, and I just can't motivate myself to do it. I get out the paper and the pens and the work and I look at it, form the answers in my head, but then just can't seem to write it down.

I want to work. I need to work. But I can't seem to do it. Also, I'm stressed to hell.

Can I have some solutions for stress? But not "listen to relaxing music" and not "take a long hot bath" because music doesn't relax me, and I don't own a bath.

Also, please if you could give me some ways to motivate myself, in general, but to do school work mostly? Drinking water seems to help a little, but I need a lot of "get up and go" attitude right now. Merci. ^_^

The situation is as follows:
-I would like to buy a digital camera
-I would like fairly decent zoom ability
-I would like removable storage
-My budget is $200
I've been trying to do some research but I'm feeling pretty confused. There are so many options and I know so little about all of them. Any advice from people who actually have a digital camera or know a fair amount about them would be fantastic. Is it possible to get what I want within my budget? What brands should I look for?

fujifilm is great. It is only like $100 but with a good memory card it is close to $150 to zoom is pretty good and the quality is great. the only bad part is it goes through batteries like crazt

ive been asking for a digital camera for years now and my dad said i could probably get one for my 15th birthday next month..ive been looking to get a Sony Mavica MVC-FD200 Digital Camera, but does anyone know what other good brands i can get digital camera and maybe also record video/ movie shots

well i got a fujifilm one from there. its around 100 but you will need to buy another memory card for it because the one it comes with only holds like 20 pictures.. sometimes if u go online you can find the camera at wal marts web site for like 10 more and it comes with a printer.. the quality is really good.. u could im me on aim DLR Jazz Machine if you want to see some pics from the camera or something

I have music playlist on my Xanga and when I go to it I can hear the music just fine. But when my friend goes to it she said she couldn't hear it. Does anyone know what might be going on? Would anybody be willing to go to my Xanga site to see if it is just her computer or what?
