Relax, be yourself, and ask a few questions. If the interview is over and they ask if you have any questions, ask something. It can be something as simple as "How many days a week will I be working?" Also, my mom always told my sister to write a thank you letter or e-mail to the person just saying thanks for your time. I think it's like bonus point to getting the job. And just make sure not to be shy. If you're asked to tell about what you like to do, you can lie. Say you like to go to the movies with your friends on weekends, even if you don't. i really like the hair type that people have when they go to the beach and swim if you know what i mean, its like wavy. im not sure how to explain it. but if you think you know what im talking about do you know of any products that can make your hair look this way without it being crunchy from gel or anything, just a natural beachy look. thanks!

I read in a magazine once that you can mix a tbsp of salt with a cup of water and spray it into your hair and it's suppose to make it wavy.

You should just eat healthy foods like fruits and vegetables. Also, work out to get some muscle. Usually, if you get muscle, you tend to weigh more for some time because muscle weighs more. I don't think it's too big. But when I was 12, I didn't like big purses (but I do now), so maybe you should talk to her and somehow fit purses into a conversation to see if she likes big purses. Hope I helped.

Hello! My friend keeps leaving me out now and i dont know why. She never talks to me or answers my questions anymore and she now talks to two other girls that dont talk to me and when we do all get to hang out together...they talk and they communicate but i am left saying nothing. We never sit with eachother at lunch or be parteners together for school and it makes me depressed all the time!! I dont know why but can someone please give me advice? Thanks

I have a friend just like that. I try to ignore her when she's around her "new and better" friends. I'm sure you have other friends that you can talk to when she's busy talking to the two other girls. I've been friends with my friend for almost 8 or 9 years, so when she first started to get new friends who were more popular than me, I wasn't really sure how to deal with it. But after maybe 2 years of her and her new friends I realized that I have better friends who will talk to me no matter who we're around. You might feel like she's embarassed by you when she's with her, but don't be. Just walk away and find another one of your friends to talk to. Believe me, it's not worth worrying about too much. I'm not telling you to never be friends with her again, but just try not to get too obsessed over it. Hope I helped.

Well, let's just say I'm not the greatest person ever at math. I actually try really hard. I do all of the extra credit things, I practice online and I pay attention during class, but I just can't seem to make a good grade. I've tried going to the extra help things at my school with my math teacher, but it doesn't help.
My average for the nine weeks this time was a 79. Is there something that anyone knows of that I can go to for help? Also, do colleges look at middle school grades or is it only high school grades?

If you think about it, a 79 is one point away from an 80, which is excellent in my book. (I have a 60 average) So, if your in middle school, I wouldn't worry too much. If your planning on going to a public high school, you should be fine with getting in. College (that I know of) only looks at high school grades. But because they only look at high schools grades, it doesn't mean you should slack off in middle school. Hope I helped.

I know how you feel, because my friend was over my house for graduation and we were doing our hair. I was using a shine spray and then I left for a second and I came back and it was gone. I never thought anything of it and then one day I saw it in her room.

So, you should say something to her again, or, I know this might be hard to do, but take it back when she's not around. It seems like its the wrong thing to do, but really it's yours anyway right? I didn't get my shine spray back because I'm a coward and I don't have the guts to take it back. Don't ask me why. But, yeah, your right. No mom MAKES a daughter go to Claire's and FORCE her to buy the same exact thing she just complimented you on.

Well, I'm 14 and I, also, have never had a boyfriend or anything. Every day I like put myself down about it, but I'm starting to realize that just because my friends have boyfriends, it doesn't mean I have to. My point is that you shouldn't care. I know that's really hard to do but enjoy life as it is. You'll be going off to college (hopefully) in a year or two? When the right person comes, you'll know it and be glad you waited.

I'm not really sure how to answer your second question, but I think you can always find him becuase your always thinking about him.

okk, i'm in 8th grade, but when i go to highshool next year, i wanna be apart of something like a club. im super girly. soo.. sports, i dont think so. i did the whole cheerleading thing & dance.. so drop that. i was good at it, but i didnt wanna go to all those practices. aha but like, what else can i do???

I'm just like you. I can't do ANY sports, and I use to do cheerleading, but now I'm a freshmen except I can't do cheerleading because I wouldn't make it.

I haven't joined any clubs yet, but ..

things you can join:

- a club who does charity work
- student council
- chior / band (if you can sing or play an instrument)
- or get into a new sport

Volleyball is a pretty girly sport and it's fun to play. I was thinking about doing tennis, even though I have no experience with it.

Try to go to your school's website or something and see what clubs and things they have to offer so that you'll be ready to join when you get to high school.

the top layer of my nails is lie peeling and stuff and sometimes the side of my nail is like yellowish how can i stop the peeling?

If you put nail polish on, you're suppose to put clear on first to prevent the yellow-ness. Usually keeping nail polish on (color or clear) will help for the peeling.
