Moisturize your nails when you put lotion on your hands, kepp the edges clipped, and wear polish a few days a week (to keep the nail from chipping/peeling and all that good stuff)
it's also one of those things that YOU notice more than anyone else, so don't worry about it too much =) [ LM's advice column | Ask LM A Question ]
emilyy answered Thursday August 31 2006, 1:33 pm: I had the exact same problem 2 weeks ago, then I put on Sally Hansen Advanced Hard as Nails with Nylon + Retinol. It's cheap, can be found at drugstores and is AMAZING. I thought nothing could help me until I bought that nail polish (it's clear) to paint over jewelry (metal allergy lol) but yeah anyways I tried it on my nails and now they are firm and growing very fast. Try it! :) [ emilyy's advice column | Ask emilyy A Question ]
