I don't judge. I've seen a lot, and the things I haven't, I'm always open to listening to. I want to make a difference. advice
Why do people drink if it tastes so bad?
I personally think it tastes disgusting, like I'm drinking some sort of household cleaner. Do they just not care and suck it up I guess?
Or why do YOU drink? (if you do)
Personally, I defeintely don't drink, but there are a ton of reasons people actually do it, regardless of it's icky taste.
-It's a social thing. Not to say it's a bandwagon thing, so much as if the people around you are doing it, it seems more fun.
-To simply get drunk--regardless as to whether it be to forget something, or just have fun, to get drunk.
-It seems like a sign of maturity. Some people drink to show those around them that they CAN.
-Some also do it to keep up with others around them. To prove they can hold alchohol--this is something that usually happens more with females.
Basically, the taste isn't what attracts people, it's the affects.

can you type on the computer when you're drunk or high?
Assuming you can perform most usual daily functions (such as walking, dialing a phone, using remote control), I'm sure you could.
I suppose it only depends on quite how drunk/high you actually are? But if you're to the point where you can't actually TYPE, it may be a warning sign that something's wrong..

i was just wondering does permenant marker attract the sun? like a sharpie? im going to the beach tomorrow and i want a star tattoo, you know, like when people go tanning and stick a star sticker on them and--yeah.
well the sticker will come off with all the water and such so i was going to draw one on with marker and i want to know if that would work?
would it block out the sun from my skin?

That should work fine! (: Just make sure you use black, obviously, because it'll work best. Also, try to re-apply as you would sun-tan lotion, and ect.

This is sometimes true. Alchohol sometimes makes people say things they'd otherwise not say sober, exactly how the truth sometimes comes out when people are angry.
I'd just say to be wary with some of the things people say when they're drunk. Sometimes things may also come off more hostile, or even meaner when somebody's drunk.

My sister is trying to get pregnant and she came to me to have a personal talk the other day. She is overweight (290 lbs) or something like that...and she wanted to know if she could still get pregnant at her weight or if it is harder then the average person to become pregnant.

She definitely still can! Assuming she's still going through her menstral cycle (which she should, at her weight) everything should be completly fine, regardless as to what her weight is! (:

After a girl grows pubic or armpit hair (like to the point where she has to shave it), how many years (on average) later will she start her period?
Hah, I'm hoping the last person misunderstood, because my answer's a tad different..
Generally, it could be anywhere from a few months to about two years. It all depends on the person, their diet, lifestyle, ect. There's no telling when you'll get yours.
I'd say try talking to your Mom, or a female in you family (blood-related), and see when they got theirs (a tad awkward, but it's helpful), because it will help you in knowing whether you'll be getting it later or earlier on in life!

ok this might sound really really weird, but like i shave my underarm hair on both sides, but it only ever grows back on one side. why is that? should i be worried?
Nah, it seems like it should be fine. It's probably actually a very normal thing. One thing it could be though is that you may be able to get a closer shave on a certain hand (probably the more dominant one), since you can hold it at a more comfortable angle.
Either that, or it's a natural thing. Not all hair grows completly at the same time, it's impossible. :P

what are some moves i can make to get my bf to kiss me?
There's not always a set way, some people are more spontaneous than others. What'd I'd reccomend, though is (while alone, preferably), stay very close. Maybe hug him, and just keep holding on. Look into his eyes, and don't look away. That should probably work, if not, maybe you could make the first move.
I'd just say to try to work on that first thing I mentioned, though. Closeness is usually best. :)

Personally, I wouldn't really consider that a 'first kiss'. Maybe it's physically the first time you've kissed anyone, anywhere, but a first kiss is the kind of thing that's usually on the lips, and with someone you really, really care about. This was more of a cute little guesture :P
If you want to kiss your boyfriend, I'd say go for it. Just make sure you both seem comfortable, so it's not too awkward or anything. Don't believe the rumors that the first is always absoultely amazing, either, they're usually a tad awkward because you may not know what to do/say afterwards, but it gets better ;)

First hand smoking is definitely worse than second hand, but consequences still come of being around second hand smoke. Just a few would be the obvious lung cancer, smelling icky, worse complexion, and probably tons more things.
It's probably even possible to develope that cough some smokers get. Not fun, at all.

Nope. It'd be a freak accident if that were to happen. Like, one in a billion.

You can get pregnant on any day, it's just more likely on certain days (usually RIGHT before you're ovulating or as it begins, aka right before your period).
And yes, there's still a chance if ya'll weren't using any protection, or faulty protection, because if it was anywhere near that region, it's a chance.. Very small, but still a chance.
I wouldn't worry too much, but be careful!

I have a test on monday for school and i need to study some words.The problem is that whenever I study, I forget what i studied the day of the test.My question is, how do i remember what i studied so i dont fail that test?Any advice helps thanks!
What I do is to try to relate things I know I need to remember to my life, or to make jokes about them. As corny as they may be, believe me, they work! You'll sit there thinking of what the answer is, and the dumbest sentence could come into your mind and really help a lot!
Also, writing things over and over again usually gets things into your memory.
Another great way to study is to actually teach someone else something. Ask someone of they need help studying and try to help, or talk to a sibling or parent about what you're learning.

is cutting your wrists without blood, slitting your wrists?
Slitting your wrists is generally a very bad cut--usually resulting in death. Cutting yourself without blood would be more of scratching yourself more than anything else.
Contrary to popular belief, cutters do not ALWAYS cut for blood. If someone is just scratching themselves, it should still be considered a problem. It all causes the same endorphins to be released, and generally gets the same reaction--something like a high, fear, releasing pain, etc.
If someone is doing this, make sure you find them some help.

im 13/f, in grade 8, and im only 5'2
i feel so short compared to everyone!!
everyone else is 5'4 and up, and i feel like a grade 6. I know im only 13 and can get my growth spurt, but all my family members are really short, so i doubt i'll grow. Is there still some hope of growing?? and is there something (other than heels) that can make me look and feel taller??

Haha, now I feel short. I'm in ninth grade and only five foot, but I've learned to love it :P
Depending on where you are now, there should still be room for a growth spurt. People generally stop growing around the age of sixteen, but like you said, most in your family are pretty short, so you may be like this..
If you go to the doctor, and they say there's an issue with a certain gland (I'm sorry, I forget what it's called, but I know it causes growth), there are treatments you'd be able to go through to gain height. However, they require shots and things, so.. Your choice, if you're elegible for it. Just ask you doctor! :P
Um, some things to do to look a little taller would be to wear your pants rolled a tad at the bottom (it sounds weird, but it works sometimes!). Also, be cautious of very long shirts--they tend to make your legs look shorter.
Just remember, there's nothing wrong with being short. We're all unique, and some of us are 'fun sized'. :P
