I would like teenagers to answer this one,

My daughter is 13. But the clothes she wears are not...happy. She always is sarcastic. She listens to strange, loud music. Is this the fashion these days? Should I let her be?

i'm 14...but it's pretty much like how i am.

most teenagers are sarcastic, and alot of us listen to loud music, sometimes strange.

it sounds like she's has her own style and honestly doesnt care what other people think.

as for the sarcasm, i know that most people are sarcastic because it's how we protect ourselves from being hurt. we dont like to admit it, but it's like a wall of protection/security.

i wouldnt say let her be unless she's going psycho. when she's mad, let her have time to herself. when you haave a disagreement from 2 different points of view, listen to hers, try to see the situation how she would, and ask her to do the same for you. but also try to spend time together. like go out to lunch and a movie on a saturday or something...like maybe a feew times a month and take turns picking where you go.

This might be a completely moronic question but are there any kind of air conditioners that you don't have to mount in your window?

My apartment doesn't have central air and I'd like an air conditioner when it gets warm this summer. But my windows are a weird sort of shape and the whole apartment is oddly shaped so air doesn't circulate nicely. So yes, anyone know of any air conditioner that doesn't need to be mounted in a window?

im 17 male 5'7" weight 130 lb.'s its it ok for my age cause i look realy skinny how can i gain weight i eat a lot fat foods but don't gain weight. can some one give tips.

don't eat alot of fat foods...that is just bad for your health on the inside of you. if you want to gain weight, start eating protiens, good carbs, and start working out. that way, you will gain muscle which will help you gain weight. hope i helped!

okay... I just got the part of Jasmine in the school musical(Aladdin, duh!) but I am scared because my dad is threatening to pull me out. I have a lot of stress already, but he said that if I forgett to do one chore or my grades drop one little bit that he is going to take me out. I don't want to be taken out, this play is like my life. But I don't know how to remember everything for the next 3 1/2 months. I am a horible rememberer, so I am like scared to death, and soooo stressed to boot. My friends told me today that I am losing myself and becoming a self centered brat, and my boyfriend reminds me too much like my dad, and I miss my dad! (he died when I was 10) and it just seems like everything is going wrong for me right now! so....can you help me?

i think you should make like a chart for every day so you can check something off once you've done it. for the whole stress thing, try yoga, pilates, or running. your friends don't really sound like they're helping here, and it sounds like that they really don't understand what you're going through. maybe take a day off from your friends and play it cool. good luck!

Hi, I am 15 and I will be 16 in March. My ex boyfriend broke up with me cause his parents were afraid he would get introuble with the law cause he is 19. We weren't doing anything sexual, is it still illegal to even date? I live in Michigan and I know the age for sex here is 16, but what about just dating?

Now he wants to wait till he moves out at the end of March or later to go back out. Cause he HAD to leave me or get kicked out of his house. Should I wait for him.. or move on? I really love him.. and he doesn't even know if we will ever get back together. I'm confused and heartbroken, any advice?

it's not illegal to date him. if you really did/do love him, then you will wait for him because you know he's worth it. hold out til the end of march and see what happens, or just go back out and keep it secret from his parents, like just talking on the phone when his parents aren't home and stuff. it'll be hard, but i really think you should wait for him. hope i helped!

I'm not sure if I have a bunch of little zits or a rash (possibly caused by new shampoo that I just bought about 1 week ago). It's near where my hair lays by my face. The "zits" are all grouped together. If anyone can help I will rate 5's.

you have a patch of acne. i get the same thing all the time. it's right about where your hairline is and it's because your hair is giving off excess oils and is clogging your pores. try pulling your hair back for the weekend and keeping it off your face and washing it 2 times a day. hope i helped!

I just recently became a vegetarian. The thing is, I really have no desire for meat. However, I feel like I'm eating the same things over and over again. Does anyone know of some good vegetarian foods/meals?

i'm a junior and guy. my friends usually like to have parties or get togethers, and i usually can't go because something comes up or i have other plans. with this group of friends, they are good guys, generally stay out of trouble, but the one day i couldn't go, i decided not to because i had to work on a project. the next day i heard one of the guys was rushed into a hospital because he was drinking too much. i dont like drinking, never have, and would like not to. so if they do invite me to a get together, should i just decline? i don't want to be left out of the loop, but personally i don't like drinking, don't really mind if others do though. what should i do...avoid it completely? will rate

if you dont mind if others do and can withstand the peer pressure, then go and dont feel left out of the loop. just dont let yourself get sucked in to something you dont want to do. and if something ever goes wrong or you get sick of it, just leave. simple as that. happens here all the time. hope i helped!
