This question is gonna be long so moderators, please don't delete this question. I need to explain myself a little bit before I can explain my question. I'm a 14 year old girl, I'm 5'6, and I weigh 113 pounds. For all my life, I thought I was ugly or below average looking. I have never had a boyfriend but now I think guys are gonna start liking me and then I might get a boyfriend. Well lately, I've been getting great comments like I'm hot or really pretty. Today, I went to the beach with my mom and my sister because we had "to bond more" lol yeah right. When I was walking to the car to go home, a few African Americans and white guys hit on me lol. They said "Damn girl you're fine and you gots a nice ass and legs". After what happened today, I'm feeling more confident about what I look like. I'm going into the 8th grade soon and I think I might get a few boyfriends during the school year. I am done growing in height wise and I think my beauty phase is coming in lol because now people think I'm hot and stuff. Ok for my question, do you think I might get my first boyfriend this year because of what has and is happening to me? If this question isn't too difficult for you, I would really appreciate it if you can answer it. Thanks

Umm well My boyfriend had recently broken up with his girlfriend a while ago and now i'm going out with him and its great but his girlfriend seemed pretty p*ssed off...so now school is coming up and my locker is gonna be by hers. and i'm afraid that she'll like beat me up or make fun of me or something like that.. so idk what to do..and i have talked to my mom but i need a bit more advice

well just ignore her and dont look at her or talk to her or anything, and if she doesnt say anything for a few weeks then just start talking to her normally again and bein nice ...but if she starts making fun of you n being a bitch to you then just say something like "well theres obviously lots more wrong with you since he dumped you for me" n that should shut her up..

when you wanna stand out, then but the liquid eyeliner that is colored, and put it on kinda thick, and maybe extend it just a LITTLE bit farther out past yer eyes, and maybe a dark lip gloss.

when you wanna look purdy, then use as little as you can for the "natural" look, and for eyeshadow make it a few shades lighter than your hair color if its brown, or a pinkish redish if it isnt.

well, i always flat iron my hair. it takes foreverrr..but anyway, i live in GA ..so its really hot and humid here, during the summer monthes especially. soo my hair always frizzes up and gets kinda wavy. any suggestions on how to keep it stick straight all day long..thanks=D!

okay, before you flat iron your hair, or just when its wet then put some gel in it like at the ends, or where it mainly poofs out. then flat iron it and make it stick-straight, and if you have layers then do layers seperatly. then when yer done spray hair spray into a brush and brush through your hair, and if you think you need to use a TEENY bit of lotion for the friz.

ok, well, before i go to school i want to look really good for the first day, and im scared because lately i have been gettin pimples on my face (not for the first time) and i want to know if anybody has any tips on how to clear your face, or products that work over night (and actually work) plz tell me!

for yer zits...just buy something at a regular store. I wash my face with nuetrogena deep clean cream cleanser when i wake up and before i go to bed, and i hardly ever get zits, and bad acne runs in my family. Also, don't touch your face that much, because the oil in your hands mixing with you face causes irritation which will lead to more zits. AND drink lots n lots of water, because it clears your skin up.

im having the same problem with my teeth. I use a whitening toothpaste and brush all the time. And use baking soda, it makes them really white. Maybe you should try those over-night whitening things that come in little bottles, and i think they're $15 or something. ive heard they work really well

This next week I am going camping with my friend. I have never been camping ever and I am excited. Except the fact I am very afraid of water. They plan on taking us out on a boat and go swimming in the middle of the lake and do stuff like that. I dont want to be a pain, and them feel like, oh god.. why we take her. What can I do? I dont want her to get mad at me either. I am just so scared and I can barely swim.

Truth is, if she's really you're friend then shes gonna understand and won't care, but if she makes a big deal about it then shes probably not gonna be a great friend in the long run. But you can always just stay on the boat for a while, and if you see them all out there having fun you might want to get in there and try it out. Its really not as scary as it seems. And if worst comes to worst then just say your stomach hurts or something, and ask if you can stay on the boat for a while. Then they won't bug you about it

Okay well im usually really outgoing and happy and funny... im always the life of the party... but lately im not... im just not... idk why... im just not myself i dont know whats wrong with me... and i have been constantly thinking about how i want a b/f a good one... and i have found out that the reason i want a b/f is because i feel so much better about myself when i do have one... and with school approaching im thinking about the school year and school shopping and looking good this year and ahh its driving me crazy...

wow, you sound really stressed out. Just do something to let it all out. It'll hlep you a lotttt trust me. Also, just take one thing at a time. Maybe sit down for a day and just practice different ways you can do you're hair or makeup so that you look good this year. And if you have any older friends that go to that school then ask them all the questions you have about it. (unless its not your first year there?) and you dont ALWAYS have to be the happy funny girl. It sounds like you just need some time to relax.

congrats! well you were obviously good if you made it, and you said all your friends thought you would make it but you didnt think so. So maybe you're just too strict on yourself! Don't worry about it so much, sure you might mess up but you'll get better. just practice your routines alot. It'll be so much fun. you made it when you thought you werent gonna, so you're probably better than you think
