i have always loved eyeliner!! i dont know what you look like and how it would look on you but you should try it out just to see how it looks.
i always like to wera it on top and bottom lids (black) cuz i have dark hair. try using a shimmery eye shadow for the top lid and a dark color for the bottom. do whatever u think looks good. eyes are really fun to pretty up !!

when you wanna stand out, then but the liquid eyeliner that is colored, and put it on kinda thick, and maybe extend it just a LITTLE bit farther out past yer eyes, and maybe a dark lip gloss.
when you wanna look purdy, then use as little as you can for the "natural" look, and for eyeshadow make it a few shades lighter than your hair color if its brown, or a pinkish redish if it isnt.

Try using colors that are less natural looking..such as bright greens..blues..hot pinks..ect. If you want some really good visual help join this community on livejournal.com. I just use eye make-up I don't know why but eyeliner(exspecially black) really brings out anyone's eyes. I use a black eyeliner and mascara, along with just a light purple or white eyeshadow. I don't like to wear like base or powder it makes my face feel funky and sweats off too easily. Just try what I said eyeliner, black mascara, and a light color eyeshawdow (perferably one that will look good with the outfit your wearing, but nothing too ragious). Like say your wearing a lime green shirt and blue jeans... Try the black eyeliner and mascara with a light maybe white or a light shade of green with it. But if your use to base and powder go ahead it won't hurt. I just don't like it.
