my "best friend" is changing sooo much. and every1 notices it. shes not very skinny (5ft 2 inches and 160 lbs) and she wears clothes taht r waaaay to tight on her. thats not the bad part tho. all my guy friends make fun of her b/c shes got "gramma tits" (the kind taht sag) and lets em hang out and she thinks shes hot. me and my other 2 best friends r considered the most popular grls in the grade. and i just won homecomin queen a few weeks ago and i could tell she wuz sooo jealous. and her bf just dumped her so all she duz is flirt and shes like "o i wuznt flirting i dont even no how to flirt" while twirling her hair. ughhh...i hate that! and she exaggerates EVERYTHIN!!! i just dont no wut to do. ive tried talkin and giving her clues that ppl dont really like who shes turned into but she duznt get it. she just says ugh y would they say that about me?? and its PISSING ME OFFFFFF!

You need to talk to her. If you've already tried bringing it up and it hasn't work, then sit her down and seriously tell her. She may not realize that you weren't just joking around the first times you told her. Maybe once she realizes what she's turned into, she'll come back to reality. Good luck.
ok my boyfriend and me have been going out for 3 weeks now and it seem like we arnt going anywhere. i mean we have gone to the movies 2 times and out to eat twice and then ice skating and we held hands during both movies but he wont kiss me or anything. is he afraid? what can i do to get him to kiss me? his friends and my friends have told him too but he wont. what can i do to get our relationship going. or is he showing me signs that he has no feelings for me? please help me. thanks.
It's only been three weeks! Give it time..he's probably just nervous. I'm sure he has feelings for you or you two wouldn't be going out, but not all guys are comfortable making the first move. If you really want to, then you do it! =)He'll come around though. He's probably just unsure of how you're feeling, so let him know.

Well, yes, no one LIKES being dumped...but time heals most things and you WILL get over him. As for what he says about you now, I wouldn't waste any time worrying about it. I know it hurts, but really...do you actually WANT to go out with someone who is going to say nasty shit like that about you? So there, I have now eliminated all reasons for you wanting this waste-of-air back. Now, move on to the thousands of OTHER guys in your age group. Have fun. ;)
ok, so i dont think im ugly, but i know im definitely not gorgeous, and when i get compliments on my body or anything else from guys, i don't know how to respond. I've had self-esteem issues and when i hear these compliments, im glad someone thinks of me that way, but i dont wanna sound like "OMG! Im hot shit.." How do i respond to these compliments without sounding like im hot shit or end up rejecting them?

It sounds to me that your friend is crying for attention, being that she TOLD you she's a cutter. None the less, it's something to be concerned about. If you've already talked to your friend about it, and she isn't acknowledging your concerns, you need to go to an adult. Yeah, she'll probably be mad...but she'll get over it, and if not...too bad, you did the right thing.
Hi! I'm 14/f and I kind of like this guy friend of mine. We'll call him Dave. Anyway, as I said, I kind of like him...that way. And he recently told me that he likes me, too...that way. Except I'm kind of afraid of him asking me out because it would be my first real boyfriend, and I don't know what I would do with a boyfriend! It would be SO awkward going on a date to dinner or something with Dave, and I'm not really big on huge public displays of affection. Well, don't be worried about his friends. They obviously haven't influenced him liking you so far. About the boyfriend situation, yes, it's understandable...but you're going to have a first boyfriend sooner or later. If you aren't ready to have a boyfriend, then tell him that. Don't go out with him if you aren't comfortable with the situation. However, it's normal to be nervous about stuff like that at first =) The question that you should be asking yourself is, is it the thought of having a boyfriend PERIOD making you uncomfortable, or the thought of having "Dave" as a boyfriend?

Assuming that you like neither friend, then you don't seem to be left with too many options, my dear. Just tell them you want to remain friends with them, and hopefully they won't get all psycho bitch on you ;) Be nice about it, though. You never know when you'll start liking one of them.
im in 10th grade and this guy that likes me is in 7th grade. he is 14 and im 15 but he jus had a late b-day and got held back... so i mean technically he could b in the 8th grade or 9th grade easily and my bdays in june so i can like b in the 9th grade.. but thing is.. thats not how it happened. hes in 7th im in 10th.. everyone would think that i was the BIGGEST LOZER ever if i were to date him.. but he is hott sweet and i can talk to him... and if it wasnt for friends and all then i kno we would b dating... and jus recently he asked me to the movies and i said i would go. and he wants to do stuff at the moveies and im up to it but i jus dont want to make him think that if i kissed him it would mean something. i mean should i tell him that i cant date him or do nething till we both get out of college? should i ditch the guy? teh college thing sounds gay n all but.. when you get out of college and all you can date ppl that r 10 yr older than u and hes only 1 1/2 yrs younger than me. but im tryin so hard NOT to like him and its jus like im in a really frustrating situation!
Right, that all makes sense. I wouldn't focus too much on the college thing, although I know what you're talking about. But I mean, c'mon, we both know by the time you go to college however many years from now you'll have long forgotten about this guy. Anyway! I wish I could say that the age difference isn't odd, but I'd be lying to say that it isn't a little weird for a sophomore to date a 7th grader, lol. This being the case, I'll leave that part up to you. If you like him and DO decide to go out with him, then you're just going to have to get over the fact that some people are going to look at the situation funny. They WILL get over it, and if you like this guy that much, then it might be worth it! The second part of that is, if you're willing to make out with the guy, why aren't you willing to date him?...and is it really fair to lead the guy on like that? Just struck me as a little odd.
But, it sounds like your real question is how to get over this guy...in which case you can disregard all that, and read this ;)...there are tons of guys your own age that you'd be more comfortable having as a boyfriend. Keep this one as a friend, and go for one of the other thousands your own age, lol.

Yeah, I had the same problem. I tried just about everything with no luck. Finally what I ended up doing was uploading the picture to my picturetrail account (picturetrail.com ...you get a free trial for a certain amount of time)
...then right click the picture>>properties>>copy the url, and paste it under your profile settings =)

Hey Im getting braces in a week.. i was wondering if there was anything i should do to prevent the pain.. or to get rid of the pain.. or could somebody jsut tell me how much pain there even really is? cuz i get different answers from like everyone i ask.. i just wanna be prepared. I know i should take advil before getting them put on, and i should bring chapstick with me.. any more advice? Oh and btw.. what color should i get lol i was thinking pink cuz i thought it might be cute? or would pink be too babyish for a 15 yr old? thanks ill rate!!
All right, I had braces for like 3 years, so I've got this one, haha. Nah, it really doesn't hurt much at first. I won't say it's great, and it may be a little uncomfortable, but it isn't near as excruciating as everyone makes it out to be (*cough* wimps). It will probably hurt more the days after you get them on than it will when you first get them on. Sure, take advil...I didn't, but whatever makes ya happy...lol. As far as colors, sure, pink will work. I mean, that's just personal preference. I'm 15, and I don't think it's babyish...Good luck with that.
I have extremley bad cramps... only the problem is i dont know how to swallow a pill. The advice I want is NOT how to swallow a pill but if you know of any really good chewable types of medicine to realive the pain (I'm 15 years old if that helps). Thanks!

Listen, you don't need this guy. If he has just broken up with you, moved on to new girls already, and yet STILL flirts with you, then he sounds like he doesn't know WHAT he wants. You don't need a boyfriend to be happy, and you shouldn't let this boy control your feelings! There are TONS of guys out there--instead of worrying about this one, go meet some new ones. If you aren't ready to "move on" yet, then why not focus on your other friendships for awhile? Trust me, you'll have forgotten all about this guy before you know it =)
ok i recently got a new computer and dsl..i had dialup and now i can leave my AIM on all the time like everyone else does with ther away msg on! well i hav windows xp (idk if that helps) and whenever i put my away msg on and then like leave the computer for even 15 mins i go back on and it lyke signed me off and re signed me on and took my away mssg on...it ALWAYS does this whenever i hav my away mssg on for lyke 15 mins! its really annoying....no 1 nos my pw or nothing...is ther nething i can do?
Mine did that too. It might be because of your power settings. A lot of computers come set up to go to stand by after every so long, as to conserve power. Just go to your options page and change it.
