hey i just got my upper ear (cartilege ?) periced a few days ago. the question i had is its still hurting and its very swollen is this normail?? if so how long will it last. i have the bactin spray and its not infected or anything its just healing i guess. is there anything i can do to make the swelling go down and to ease the pain??? thanks (link)

Your cartilage is real bone it's just not as hard. Yes it's gonna hurt for a while. Try taking some Tylenol or Motrin pain relievers and use some ice. Don't touch it or remove the earring it'll close up real fast.

You need to tell him form your heart how you feel about him. No one can tell you what to say because in the end its just you saying it. Tell it from the heart and if he can't see that you two were meant to be then he's not worth it. Don't stress over it you'll know what to say.

If you're talking about the wrap around skirt-like things then those are just like scarfs and can be found in the belts/scarfs/accessories section in most clothing stores. Or you can make them yourself by going to a frabic store and look for the prints you like and add sequins and bells.

Why don't you ust start out slow like ask her out for a day at the mall or to the movies or over to study then you can ask her after that. For a creative of asking her why don't you just get her a bouquet of roses or surprise her with tickets or whatever they are as a gift. Be creative and think there's no wrong way to be intresting.

There's no actual way to get over a guy weather its a crush or an exboyfriend. It's extreamly hard if its you first or if you've been going out for a while. There's nothing you can do to just get rid of someone from your thoughts, you'll just grow out of them but it takes time...alot of time. Pete sounds like a nice guy and if your both willing to give this another shot then do it but you really gotta think. Take some time and just talk to yourself or write it down on how you feel and in the end decided. And if things don't work out you two can always still be friends.

A condom is basically protection people use who are having sex to get a baby. It look like a long, stretchy, plasticy balloon. People have developed female condoms they're a bit more comlicated though. I don't think there's a certain age to buy them although they should. They even get passed out free in certain highschools.

I'm a 17 year old female and about to enter Junior year at high school. When my mom and me moved to a new place last month, I didn't think I'd be staying that long (figured that when I turned 18 I'd be moving out). Now I've decided to stay there until I graduate, and I want a look that's fun and creative, but relatively simple as well. My furniture consists of a bed that has a drawer underneath, and a rolltop desk (they are both nearly the same very light colored wood, though they're not supposed to match). We live in apartments, so we're not allowed to paint... does anyone have any ideas of things to put up on my walls, etc. so that my room won't be quite so boring? I don't want to have band posters or anything, and I want it to be fun, but I still want it to look mature. (link)

Well that all depends on what you like and price ranges. You can try some beaded curtains for you doorway. Thet come in all shapes, sizes, and color and cost from $15-$30. I'd give you more advice if I knew what you like. Like hobbies, sports, animals, colors, vacation spots, things like that.

hair thinning is takin layers off the extra bulk off. They cut they extra hair volume off.It just makes it less thick. It'll look good if you have thick hair.

..There's this guy I really like. I'm 14 years old and he's 17. We used to just be " buddies " and he used to talk to me about the girls that he liked but I knew that he would never in a million years talk about me that way. Boy, was I wrong.
..I've liked him for about two years now, and he's finally noticed me now since I " grew up " if you know what I mean. We've been talking about hooking up for a while now, but the problem is is that he's my brother's friend and if my brother found out that I was hooking up with his friend he would kill me and his friend. So... we really don't know what to do. At first we decided to just be friends with benefits lol :) but that didn't work...We just keep on talking about how it would be soooooo great if we were actually bf and gf. I have another week left of summer before I go on holiday and I have nothing planned. I fell out with my best friend 2 weeks ago. We are in the same group of friends, but I haven't heard from any of them, and if I see them I see her. I don't mind putting up with her for a bit, but if I arranged anything she would have to come along.
I have another friend I have been seeing quite a lot of, but I think we are getting a bit sick of each other. I was meant to be going to a music festival today with her, and some of her friends, but I couldn't go because my mum didn't want me to travel on the train by myself.
