how does a girl in high school become popular?
You shouldnt care if your popular or not. But i guess you do, so to be popular, become friends with people you normally wouldnt! dont leave your real true friends hanging though. If your nice to everybody, everyone will know you. You will get inited to all parties were everyone will again notice and see you. If you get involved in many clubs and other things in school, you will again be noticed. However dont try to be someone else, be yourself. If people dont except you for who you are...screw them. Dont worry to much of how other people see tou in high school, because then you will be stressing all the time, and wont have fun! These are suppossed to be your funnest years, so have fun! Plus, when you graduate, no one is going o care who was popular, its goign to be about who tried hard and succeded. And if you focus on grades and acheiving a lot.....who do you think all eyes will be on in your reunion?? Hope i helped!
two nights ago i was walking out of a resturant with my family and i stepped off the curb and the yellow thing in the parking lot that like stops the cars from going or w/e was right there and i didnt know it and i stubbed my toe really hard on it(i didnt hear it pop and it didnt bend) and it hurt like crazy i dont think its broken because there is no discoloration but ive been icing it..what else should i do to make it stop hurting and how can i know for sure its not broken and does anyone know what i might have done to it?
well y dont you go to the doctor and make sure its not broken. They can take an x-ray of it, and tell you wats wrong with it. Maybe you got a bruise on your toe, and its hurting because whenever you tough a bruise it hurts. And if its on you toe, the bruise is always coming in cntact with somthing to make it hurt because you walk on it. Hope i helped!

Maybe you can try reading someone thing really boring! Maybe 9 hours of sleep is getting to be a little to mough for you, and if you stay up and extra half hour-an hour it will make you more tired. Another thing you can try is maybe stretching before you go to bed. It will make you feel a little better, and make you a little more tired. It sort of relieves you from the day. See, last night I put in my tampon at about 6:00. I wore it all night long and accidentally fell asleep with it in and wore it until 9:00 this morning. My stomach hurts a little but maybe that's because i got a little drunk last night? I dont know though, I'm scared because i've read so many things about Toxic Shock Syndrome. So what should i do? It prob isnt tss. It prob is just the drinking. But if you feel like really bad, maybe go tell your mom.....I mean if you had it in for a little longer than you should have like one time, im sure nothing is going to be wrong with you.
so about a year ago, my dad and my step mom got a divorce. It really suc'd like any divorce, but my stEp mom blamed it on me...I still belive deep down that it was my fault, but everyone tells me it wasnt. Ive been through so many consolurs and crap, but i still don't feel good about it. I still rember the last night we talked...she told me how much she hated me...((the mom i had for the last 12 years just told me she hated me))then she refused to talk to me for the last like month she lived with us.
well my real mom's really f'd up, and my former step mom wont talk to me ever again..and i realli dont like my dads new g-f..i need a mom. im a teenage girl...my dad doesnt always get it..Where should i turn? well you can try talking to your friends mom. You can tell her about what has happened in your family, and tell her that she would really like to have another women to talk things through with. I mean you cant talk to your dad about EVERYTHING. So try a friends mom. Im sure at least one of them will be happy to help you. Hope i helped!
I don't know who I need to talk to about this. I'm just looking for someone to try and help me make sense of my situation. See, I've always dreamed of being famous. Being an actress or singer and making millions. Being as popular as Britney Spears was and all that. But, the problem is I like in a small town and inside, I know that it is so unlikely I am going to ever have the chance to be famous. I;m in local plays and musicals, but I get small roles. I don't have a good singing voice either. But, every day I dream and think about this. Does everybody want to be famous ? Or do you think i should pursue this dream, that i think about this a lot for a reason? help!
well who doesnt want to be famous? Anyways....there are different people who come to different people looking for actors and models, dancer, etc. One for example is proscout. They are like open call auditions. Just look out for those listen for them on the radio. Search for aditions on the internet in your city. And also if you want to improve your voice, maybe take some lessons. Hope i helped!

Well dont come to conclusions and say they were lying. How are they supposed to know how well other ppl would do? When other people give you good feedback, it makes you feel better, and gives you more courage to do better. How do u think you would feel if they said...."oh you dont stand a chance?" Do you think you would have even tried out? You should be greatful you have friends who care for you and believe in you.
ok i had a great boyfriend and we were in love and everything. we were together for almost 11 months. well lately he`s been being a jerk so i called it off. well last night my guy friend came over and we went with my sister and her friend out to eat. he didn`t have to be home at a certain time but he hated my sister`s friend so he left early and we didn`t get to hang out much. he complimented me and made me happy. he asked me on a double date but i kind of changed the subject. well i realized that i really like him (again) and when i told the 11 months guy he got really upset and he won`t talk to me. well i told the guy i was with last night that i like him and he told me he`d get back to me cuz he had to do sumn and he`d be right back. but he didn`t come back. i just don`t know. please help me!
Well i think you need to decide who you have stronger feelins for. It looks like your bf, has strong feelings for you because hes acting kind of jelouse. Im not trying to be mean, but i dont think your being fair to him by going back and forth with these guys. If you dont think you have feeling for your bf, sit down with him and explain it to him. But think about ur bf's feelings too....i mean you have been together for 11 months...hope i helped.

well i have an altell plan, where you have free minutes afetr 9 and free weekends. Also free mobil to mobil, and its free to call home, and if u have like a family plan, then free to call ur family.
How do I dumb my bf without being mean about it?
Just tell him that you think that you should just be friends. Tell him that you like hangin with him, but when you do, it feels like your just being friends. You dont want to be like faking that you like like him in that way, and tell him you think he should be free to find someone else that will like him like a bf. I know the whole "lets stay friends" thing is so cheasy, but explain what you mean, by wat i said above^, or something you come up with. Also dont do it online, its kinda meaner. Do it in person if possible. If not, then phone would be the next best choice. I hope i helped!

I need a lottle help as to what to do in this kind of situation... I just found out not too long ago that a secret was being kept from me about one of my friends tryin to kill herself and how she ended up in the hospital and everything... and all of that jazz... and how 2 of my other friends "saved her" by calling the ambulance and stuff... Once i got to think about it.. I wondered what the hell her problem was and how she got all of the attention and stuff(and she did this by overdosing on IBprofun by the way) And i was sitting there getting mad b.c. i didnt think that she should have done anything like that. And i was mad b.c. I've been feeling really depressed lately and nobody understands me.. so i was thinking about doing the same thing... only with soma's (since my moms a drug addict and i can get that stuff) and i cry at night thinking about this and how i wish that ppl would see and it didnt have to go to an extreme like this.. what should i do?
p.s. my friends mom just died yesterday and so now im really worried about her

You have a lot going on in you life right now, and you need to sit down and calm down. Write down your feelings in a journal, Vent! Dont even think about overdosing. Its the wrong way to go. It is not the answer to your problems. PLease dont hurt yourself in anyway. There are tons of people who care and love you and would not like to see you hurt yourself in any way. I hope you think about wat i said, and i hope everything will be ok with you, ur friend, and your mom!
One of my best guy friends asked me out the other day,John and i was thrilled. We have always been close, but i was to worried of asking him out. Well me and him have been doing great, exscept that one of my friend likes him. I knew that before but that was about 5 months ago, since then she has been saying that she likes someone new and she does'nt like John anymore. I'm wondering if i should break up because of my friend or not? Another reason Im wondering if I should break up with him is because I'm afriad that when we break up we wont talk to each other ever agian? Should I break up with him before we get to close? Well if your friend said she doesnt like him n e more.....why shouldt you go out with him. Especially if your happy. As far as keeping your friendship with him if you break up, if you are really good friends, you should stay good friends no matter what. You shouldnt take risks with people because of what might happen, think about now, and your feelings for him NOW.
Well im 15 and i need to make some money im saving up for a drum set i have been saving for awhile and i dont have that musch. No onw will hire a 15 year old. Does anyone have any ideas of how i can make some money??
Yes people hire 15 year olds.....fast food places do, but those are bad places if you ask me. They would like make you smell of grease. But maybe you could sell some stuff on e-bay. Or make a sign in your neiborhood that you can clean whatever needs t be cleaned, or something. If you get an allowence, save the money, sance all money you get, at least mosy of it. Ask your parents of theres anything they have in mind that you could do. Hope i helped!
Okay.. me and my friend have this lil problem... we are trying to decide what to do for the talent show ... we are chosing between broadway and disney... we;re afraid to do briadway becasue we did a briadway in concert thing in the fall.. and my friend is afraid that our music teacher and out administraitor will get mad... but im not so sure... what should we do? any ideas?
This might sound totally weird, but i saw it on these talent shows on tv, but you and your friend should get partners, and take like a salsa dancing class or something like that and do it for the talent show! people will be blown away, becaus eits so original. Wow, i think you need to go tell her parents or a school guidence councelor or somebody that can help! Also talk to your friend yourself. Tell her that there are so many people that love her, and would be heartbroken if she did anything like kill herself or hurt hersef in anyway. And do it quick. Your friend has a serious problem, and she sounds serious. If n e thing were to happen, and she did kill herself, and you didnt bother to tell anyone, think of how you would feel. You wouldnt be able to forgive yourself for not helping when there was a chance to save a life. So help now! Hope i helped, and i hope nothing bad happens to your friend.

well maybe you should start out easy. Ask for paper or something one day, just to talk to her. Then gradualy start to talk to her more. Dont talk to her like your afraid of her, but in my eyes, girls like a guy whos a little nervous when he talks to her. Guys can be tough around his guys, but if hes nervous around a girl, it means he likes her so much, he doesnt want to mess up around her. But thats just wat I have heard. wow, this must be a smart little girl with some deep feelings. Maybe you should sit down with her and talk with her about why she feels like that. Sometimes kids look up to an older kid and like talking to them more then to their parents. Listen to what she says. After, you might want to let her parents know shes no in the happiest mood, and tell them you have been talking to her about it. Just s her parets are informed.
