Q: does anybody know how to evenly put on eyeliner on the top lid of your eye? like i do it and it isnt perfect..

I just put my other finger on top of my eyelashes (so they don't interfere)and just steadily draw a line.If in doubt it's a little crooked grab a wet Q-tip and make it straight.Also liquid eyeliner is sometimes easier to use.

Q: What is the best way to break up with a boy if you are going to. Should I call him, write him a note, E-mail him, or IM him?! :-/

The name will not be mentioned...but I have had someone break up with me over IM.It sucks,quite honestly it does.I think the worse possible way would be in a note.The best,maybe not easiest,way would be in person.It gives you more closure and such.Now if in fact this is a long distance relationship...the phone would be your best option.However like I mentioned before if you see the person daily,do it in person.

You want to stay away from asking questions that require one word answers.You can talk to guys about most anything.The other day I was in Spanish class and somehow or another I got into this conversation with this guy about the movie Pretty in Pink.(After one date they were "in love",Grrr...she should of just stuck with Duckie.)Difference is I had no interest in the guy so it was ok.But seriously talk about anything you know about.Which could include music.Music is a good conversation starter.Unless you totally have way extremes...such as rap and ska.Or if worse comes to worse ask him questions about himself.Most of the guy population enjoys talking about themselves.Don't start out with deep questions...work your way up.Or in this case, down.

You can't make someone like you more.(One o will do.)Well,I mean you can but you'd have to change your entire self to fit what the guy wants.And hello,where's the fun in that?Just be yourself. Cliche,I know,but really it's true.As for the telling him you like him...it's quite simple.Say "________,I like you". I have found out from previous experiences at certain times,it helps to be foward about things.

First off...pot and weed are the exact same thing.No difference.A lot of the time you know who the "druggies" of the school are.Either they always have the distinctive smell of pot on them, they talk about it constantly, or carry it around and announce they have it *cough cough* Samantha .That's not always the case though.Some people are in the closet about it.Which seems to me that your boyfriend is.If he does fail his drug test I highly doubt people will view you as desperate.You might be associated as other things,but desperate will not be one you have to worry about.Give him your views on his drug habits.Let him know you don't like what he does.It's quite obvious you and him don't agree on it.People act really dumb when they are stoned.At least make sure he has the decency not to do it around you.And if he does...make a clear exit for the door,to show him you dont like him when he is stoned.

Q: You've prolly heard this so many times b4, but, here goes...

I'm 13, in 8th grade, and weigh 156 lbs. I know that I shouldn't be concerned with what others think of me, but I am. There is this one group of girls, who, ever since I've moved here (in 6th grade) have teased me about my weight. I'm really sick and tired of it. I'd like to show them that I can be like them. By summer 2005, I would like to be able to wear a bikini. I picked one out and everything; it's pink, my fave color. Do you have any tips for getting into shape, and how to find a circle of people to support me? Also, what can I do about those girls?

To get yourself into good shape you have to be very committed to doing it.You seem like a bright girl that is going about it the right way.You never went into detail about your diet or your daily exercise...so I will have to kind of guess. Eating right and exercise is the key to have a healthy and sucessful weight loss.Exercise at least 30 minutes a day.Either walking,doing cardio,dancing,bike riding,basically anything that gets your heart to speed up and you are moving.Maybe join a local gym to keep you on a schedule.As for your eating habits.Make sure you are recieving enough fruits and vegetables everyday.And not over eating on simple carbohydrates.Don't cut them out entirely just eat them in moderation.Make sure you are having 8 glasses of water everyday.Milk is also very helpful.Not drinking soda would also be a good thing to cut out.Way too much sugar.To find a support group...if you do decide to join a local gym that would be a good place to search for a support group.Also your friends I am sure would be happy to help.To deal with those girls perfect the "cold hard bitch" look in the mirror (I fortunately have already and can freeze fire with that look)and tell them to fuck off.Good luck,and keep me updated on how you are doing.

Q: should i lose weight to make a guy like me? i mean i AM little overweight and my parents think so too and ive gained like 10 pounds, so im like 15 pound overweight! so i am wondering because i think guys havent asked me out yet is becuase of this! i know 2 guys who already liked me but they thought i was funny and nice and everything.. im not wow fat, but should i lose weight now? because is this the last straw?

Don't lose weight for a guy.Lose weight for yourself.To make you feel better and to improve your health.Increase your amount of exercise and your way of eating.Never change yourself for a guy though inside or out.

I am the same age and height as you.Personally I love being tall.It gives me advantages in the hallways of seeing over people.I can reach certain shelves my 5 foot 4 mother can't.I am not quite sure what you mean by "[guys,tryin to let people c u w/o ur height]."But I am guessing you are speaking about the opposite sex.An inch or two shorter isn't a big deal really.Most guys that are thirteen still haven't finished going through puberty yet.But being our height is really not bad.One day you will wake up and love being tall.Until then wear flats.

Whatever you do,do NOT use scissors.I'm sorry but that just looks fake.You don't seem to be patient enough to wear them for a while and let them be naturally holed.(If that's even a word.)Uhhh... A&F does a good job at putting holes in jeans.But,you will pay for them.Sandpaper could possibly work.As could rocks.Just don't over do them.

I KEEP TELLING HER SHE LOOKS SOOOO GOOD, BUT SHE SAYS THAT WHEN SHE LOOKS IN THE MIRROR SHE DOES NOT SEE HER SELF LIKE THAT, AND THAT IM ONLY SAYING THAT TO MAKE HER FEEL BETTER, AND THAT SHE ONLY SEES HER SELF AS BEING UGLY AND FAT.

I am going to tell you right off that I have never gone through an eating disorder.But I am a girl and I do feel the pressure to be thin.I think all girls do.Just today I was sitting by these girls who were talking saying how they are so fat.THEY ARE SIZE ZEROS!Me in my size sevens didn't feel so good.The media fucks with our heads as do mirrors,and the people in our everyday lives.Right now you are being a good friend.You alone aren't going to be able to make her stop though.It's something she will have to control herself.Bulimia kills.Kills very slowly I might add too.Whatever you do though as a friend do NOT lecture her.I had a friend lecture me once in the past about my self mutilation problem.It made me feel so much worse.That's not what I wanted to hear and your friend will not want to hear it either.I wanted to be held and told that everything was going to be okay.Chances are she does too.Her shit of an ex-boyfriend and parents are not helping.Get in touch with a center that deals with eating disorders professionately and confidently that is close to you.That would help her the most right now.She has a disorder and whether or not she believes it she needs help.

My absolute favorite eyeliner is called Lava Gloss and it's by Too Faced.It's kind of costy at $17.00 a stick but it is so worth it.What's so great about it is,it's liquid eyeliner in a pencil form.Ummm...you can get it at Sephora or Nordstrom's.If if by chance you don't have either in your area Sephora has a website you can order it off of.

I have freckles....and I have learned to love them.But if you really want to fade them try to stay out of the sun as much as possible.The sun darkens them.So wear sunscreen.Most people don't wear sunscreen on a regular basis so use a moisturizer that has a built in one.It will state on the box whether it has moisturizer in it or not,don't just assume it does.

Q: Ok well I like this guy, whose name is Frankie. Frankie is a total skater dude, and I’m well... kinda preppy. The only reason I’ve really talked to him is cause he sat by me in a couple of my classes. When I talked to him he was really nice.. and sweet. I finally realized I liked him. Please don't refer to people as skater dudes.But if you really want to talk to this guy you shouldn't have to have an excuse.He waves at you in between classes make an attempt to talk about something he's mentioned.For example music,skateboarding,or whatever the hell he does. I'd say wait two weeks or so then get the hallway conversations out of the way and move on to the "Want to do something this weekend," question. Eventaully he'll get the hint that you like him(If he hasn't already).

Q: Ok. Well ive gone out with this guy right? Lets call him James. But that was two years ago when me and james were in the 8th grade and he didnt take relationships seriously therefore never kept a girlfriend for more than 3 weeks. I went out with my best guy friend....it lasted 2 months...2 weeks...and 4 days.Are we still friends?Yeah it took a good few weeks after the break up though until we actually had more then hey,how was your weekend conversations.But to this day we are still friends...at times it does get a bit akward,but it's better than losing one of my best friends.
