Q: 16/f- I have to write a paper on my opinion (just or unjust?) on the current War in Iraq. Well, I am a total pacifist so naturally my opinion is that there is NO reason good enough to take another person's life, and I would rather live under an oppressionist government than kill someone for my freedom; therefore the war would be unjust. BUT, if the oppressionist power was killing citizens, then I would rather kill the people in power if that could prevent more lives lost. The problem is, for my paper, where can I find out how many total lives have been lost because of U.S. involvement? (Including Americans AND Middle Easterners) And where can I find out how many people are killed because of supposed terror regimes, sunni/shiite conflicts, the whole Sadam Hussain Kurd thing... ect. ect. I feel like I need these numbers to prove my point- (for ex.- If more American lives were lost capturing Sadam Hussain than he executed under his power, was it worth it? Also the same question vice-versa.) I cannot find this information because it is a current event- nobody is exactly clear on whats happening, and all news sources seem to be slanted one way or the other. Help me find good, clear sources please!!!! Where is this info availible?

Q: i had sex about 10 days ago for my first time. i am on the pill, but its the 3 month pill, like you take it for 3 months and then the last week of the third month you take the inactive pills for a week, and thats when you have your period. according to my pills i had to start monday, and i did. I've been on my period for 3 days now and i am experiencing all the things i normally do, cramps, mood swings, etc. bu since i did get my period, theres nooo way im pregnant right? my appetite isnt changing, my breasts aren't sore.. but i do get headaches and stuff. however, i am sick with possibly the flu, so thats probably why my head hurts. i will take a test if i see symptoms, but for now im thinking i should be fine, RIGHT? especially with a normal period?

Yes, more thaan likely you are fine. Like you said if you do feel symptoms you can take a test but dont stress out about it because you will feel false syptoms

Q: I want a small indoor dog who can get along with my cat, is preferably easy to groom, doesn’t bark like crazy without good reason, and is affectionate. There are no children in my home which is in a rural area, I’d love taking him/her on a walk with a leash, but the dog also needs to be able to entertain itself for about 9 hours while I’m gone at work on weekdays. If anyone can give me breed suggestions, tips, or any other info, that would be great! I’m considering an Australian Terrier.

Q: -i got my period October 29th
-i had sex November 1st
-my period was basically over like there was nothing heavy at all and i put a tampon in after and there was barley anything at all on it
- he didn't pull out at all.. he came in me
- i track my period and ovulation on mymonthly cycles.com and it always predicts right, when i get my period .. there regular so i always know when im getting it
- it said i was ovulating November 8th
- im not on birth control

i have a couple questions

1. How likely do you think it would be for me to become pregnant, since it was so close to my period?

2. How fast can you get symptoms? its been 2 weeks and i feel like i have been eating everything but i dont think you can get symptoms that fast?

3. My boyfriend isn't worrying at all he says i won't be pregnant and not to worry but i can't help it, how can i stop worrying

Tighting of the stumouh, morning sickness, mood swings, are good signs if i were you i would wait 3 more weeks and then take a home pregnancy test, but stressing about the situation is going to make you miss your period or it will come late so calm down.

Q: Okay, so I have this problem with constantly biting my nails. I'm trying to grow them out and so far they're longer then they've been in a long time. I was wondering though if theres some kind of nail polish that makes them stronger, or tastes AWFULL.
Ive already tried thinking about the discusting crap that is under them..and it works for like a milla-second.

Q: Right now, I'm overseas in England (just making sure you know all the factors). My DS needed to be charged, so I got out my international adaptor and plugged my DS to it, and it to the wall.

And nothing. No charging of any kind. At all. No light on or anything.

So, I figured maybe it's because the voltages are different, so I bought a energy converter. It works charging my laptop, but again, no response from the DS lite.

I know DS batteries tend to need to be replaced and such after some time, but I don't think that's the case. Is there a problem with my power cord, the battery, or what? And if so, how do I get a new one, not lose my firmware data, and replace it?

you could contact the company that makes nintendo DS and ask them. My verizon cell phone used to hold a charge on a charger i bought at wal mart and one day it just stopped working. they sent me a new phone (sent it back) because i found the orginal charger and it will charge my phone.

Q: i've been thinking about what i want to do, and i've always wanted to do something in fashion but not really fashion design. i just like to be around all that kind of stuff so does anyone know what kid of jobs are offered if you major in fashion merchandising? are they good jobs? i might also double major in Fashion Merchandising and Textiles & Clothing. i'm only a sophomore but yeah i'm just getting started.

I don't know to much in fashion merchandising but i work at Wal Mart in Apperal as a Sales Associate. I love selling clothes helping someone decide helping them pick things out telling them what looks good. You could run a store ordering the clothing that which you sell. google what you are interested it might take a little bit but youll find everything you need.

Q: Okay so i've been deppresed for the past couple weeks, not anything like suicide, but I am always sad.
I know this sounds stupid but recently i just finished reading the twilight series and i love how they are in love. But I think i'll never find some one like edward. I will never have a true love :( I will end up being lonley. I am only 14.

This is your counseling pretty much. I read that book as well and felt the same way as you do now. I was upset for a while but in my head living in a fantasy land. All aside you need to focus on your life at hand. Your friends, Family, School, If you have a job. Focus on your future as in career because that is what is going to keep you going. What do you want to be when your older? Who do you want to be. A man will just walk into your life unexpectedly and you will start to feel like that man is your Edward. Hun you are young and have a whole life ahead of you. Looking for your Edward will leave you like me I am 17 years old with a son who is turning 2 in a few months. I love my son to death but i can't join the Army because of scared to leave my son same with Law School it takes so much studying i am afrid i wont have the time for my son that i do know. Have some fun, my grandmother loves dominos. Watch a movie together. Do some things she likes to do. OR sit down and talk with her. Let her know how you feel. Shes your mother and she will understand. Your mother isn't getting any younger and she is probably now relizing that. Stubborn Elders. Although they most always know what is best. Ask her what she want's. She doesn't want help because it makes her feel like she can't do it. Good Luck

friends for 20+ years recent bitter aqgument over politics has resulted in couple #2 stopping contact (they know couple #1 wife has terminally ill father (Dr said not to count on Thanksgiving)

Woman is an only child, planning her fathers funeral home care etc has enough to deal with

I think letting them in on what is going on, they are going to feel guilted into going to them. With all that is going on Wife #1 could go through some pretty terrible depression. Maybe teling couple #2 how this fight is silly and only causing distress on each other. See what their response is. Then let them know how depressed Wife #1 is feeling and how much she has placed on her shoulders and all she might need right now is her friends.

Q: im 15 /f and i always hear that im bi polar. i think its an extremely over used excuse for people. i dont like to say i am because i dont know. well i dont have massive mood swings but minor ones. i get depressed for no reason, than i get very angry,( i have broken many things in my temper.) and then i will be fine. i am a little bit of an insomniac, i usually get 4 hours sleep a night and still energetic all day. i get irritated very easily and it brings on my temper tantrums. i usually keep myself in check, but when i cant i get angrier for losing control, but i dont take it out on other ppl, i take it out on myself, like hit my head against walls or something of the sort. would this mean i am bi polar?

I am not a doctor but i believe you need to see one. It may be because 4 hours of sleep a night. You may seem hyper active after 4 hours but you still are very irrtiable i dont believe it is bi polar but like i said im not a doctor and can assume anything try speaking with your docotor tell them ALL the symptoms. good luck

I have gone through a lot lately. Everytime when I tell my parents of something bad that has happened they try to force me to go to counseling. I find that extremely insulting. If there's one thing I know how to do, it's how to think. If I have a problem that I need another perspective on I have my friends, advicenators, and used to have my parents. Except now I feel like I have to close myself off to them because I'm sick of hearing how I 'need help.' Has anyone else experienced a similar situation? Was it ever resolved?

When i was 13 years old i lost my virginity by being raped. When i was 16 i was finally able to come out and tell my mother about it. I couldn't say it to her face so i wrote it down. After reading the note she said ok. That was it. I was devasted my mother wasn't really ever there for me and now that my son and i moved to missouri and shes in ohio she trys and calls me some and trys to talk to me. but nothing will ever be the same.

Q: I've liked this guy for soooo long. Me and him have had this fling thing going on but then he told me that hes grounded and cant be in a relationship. I have this friend that dosent know anything about us. But i was out of school one day and this girl i really dont like apparently is her friend too and likes him. He told the girl that he was grounded but he'd think about it. So they went out for like a week before she broke up with him and went out with her ex. And now my best friend nows about me liking him and apparently he liked me but now he likes her and she used to like him and dosent know he likes her.

Q: so im 5'2 and my boyfriend is probably 5'3 .
im 18 and hes 21.

I just hate being made fun of and it hurts when people make fun of the person you have feelings for. Do you really think that its weird when you see a bf and gf that are the same height and both really really short like we are?

My boyfriend and I are almost the same height he is a little taller not much though. if you truely love him you wouldn't care about his height or what people say about it. No offence but usally people have a problem with age difference and now height whats next seriously.

All my friends have started shaving, waxing and putting that cream on their legs to get rid of hair except me! My mum says I'm too young and when she was my age (that was back in the sixties) that no one cared about their legs. But times have changed people! I do care! How do I convince my mum that I need to get rid of my hairy legs?

Do you have your period yet if you do that is one way of explaining it to her. Tell her about all your friends doing it and your not doing it to fit in that your doing it because you dont want to be known as "the freakshow" whom doesnt shave. explain to her why its important to you.
