so what do you do if whenever you get in fights with your mom your step dad gets involved too adn every time he gets involved i tell him hes not my dad so stop talking to me and hten he says yeah im glad im not bc if i was your dad id beat your damn ass ... idk what to do or to say to him and its really pissing me off! please help!

i dont have that good of a relationship with my parents either, and i get in fights with my dad a lot. but ive learned to get through it, and i talk to my friends and they help me through it and it really helps just to simply talk to them and tell them what i am feeling and things like that. also, talking to someone close to you is probably the best thing because it gets ur anger out.

i have a self esteem issue like i dont think im all that pretty even though all my friends say im really pretty n skinny but i just dont see it all that much so im not stuck up at all i dont think but i have this feeling that people think im stuck up cuz im always putting lipgloss on and fixing my hair and im kinda shy around people i dont know. what should i do to solve this? t/y a lot.

i went through this too. i am skinny as well, but im naturally that way. i also used to think that i wasnt all that pretty, but then my friends began to talk to me about this and tell me that i really was pretty, and that made my self esteem go up, hearing all those nice comments coming from my friends.
i just want you to know that you probably ARE pretty, and u probably ARE just the right weight you need to be.

well i like this guy (lets say hes name is steven) well steven is in one of my classes. and we sit across the room from each other, like everyh time he looks over at me i look back and stevens friend told me that i need to go ask him out. but at my school all the guys are like lying all the time even to thier gf's but steven is really sweet.also my friend told me that she ask steven and he said that he likes me.and i was really glad.so my ? in what should i do should i go up to him and say like hi and get into a conversatrion with him or should i leave him alone and wiat till he asks me out.

if you really like 'steven' then i think you should go up to him and be like hi, and then get to know him a little bit.
maybe you'll like him more after that and then you guys can go out =)
but you should really write him a note ((if ur not comfortable saying hi to him)) and tell him how you feel about him and just start a convo. and get to know each other.

My boyfriend is very experienced sexually. He's 16 and I'm 15. We've been going out for a while now but have broken up a couple times before. The most important thing is though, is that we love eachother to death. He wants to go farther than what I'm comfortable with right now. I've always been a good girl and haven't done anything really 'sexual' with a guy. He wants to finger me, which I know deep down I am not ready for. How do I tell him this without sounding like a scared little girl or sounding dumb? All my friends have done these things with guys, but I do not want to give into pressure like that.

tell him that you're not ready yet.
if he cant except that, then maybe he's not the right guy for you.
i know that sounds kind of...depressing, and it probably is..but really, if he cant except the fact that you dont want to be pressured and ur not ready for that, then maybe you shouldnt be dating him. but tell him how you feel, and talk about this with him and see what he says and just try to explain that ur not quite ready yet and you want to wait.

I don't think I react to things the way I should,
I lost my father in 97 and I didn't cry all the much and I loved my father very much, then in 2002 I lost my Brother to A Car Crash, and I just don't think I was as sad as I should have been I know you guys are probally think I am cold hearted and made of stone. I fear the same I mean I feel regular emotions like LOVE and anger, and Joy. But when it comes to sadness I just kinda of go numb is something wrong with me, or am I just worrying too much?

i myself lost many friends and family members throughout my life, and its hard. you go through a lot. as a matter of fact, i just lost 3 of my friends saturday night =/ ...
so..times can be hard, and at first when i found out i was soo shocked and i wanted to cry but i was so angry that i didnt say goodbye and all these things came all into one and it really confused me.
**it takes time to realize how much you really miss someone when theyre gone...
it may take time for you to be able to sit down and think about what happened, and then begin to cry.**

They really don't want me to have a girlfriend at all, especailly one like her they say. I mean she is a little wild sometimes, but I like that about her, but my parents don't. do that first, and then work from there, and w/e you feel is best, go with what ur heart says =)
if you really love the girl, then you'll stay with her. but if you take ur parents advice, things might not be so easy on you...

if you dont want to get back together with him, then maybe you should just tell him how you feel in a note, or email, or on IM or something that you feel comfortable with telling him how you feel. you will feel so much better after you have told him how you feel, and maybe if you guys think things will work out, you can get back together!

ok well I just found out that I was pregnant yesterday. I told my bf and all and he was really really really upset and he kept telling me that he wasnt ready for a baby right now. I am 15 and he is 16 and neither one of us are ready. He told me that his dad would make him drop out of school and get a full time job and all and i dont want that to happen. He was already in trouble with his parents because of his grades and all and went to see him yesterday but we just met in town when he got off of work and he wasnt suppose to. I wouldnt let him leave and when i finally did he was in a hurry and he it his cousins car cause she parked right behind him and didnt know she was there. now his dad took his truck from him and he is in trouble and he has to pay for her car by himself. well, first of all, i think you made the wrong decision =/ but, did you have sex with ur bf? or someone else..because that makes the whole thing much different. like i said, you made the wrong choice. but i think you should maybe until the time is right, tell him that for his sake, you guys should break up for now, and then work things out with the baby and then maybe be able to get back together.

first of all, how old are you? you shouldn't be fooling around like this at a young age, and i think that maybe you should wait until you're old enough. also, birth control pills probably aren't the best thing. because just like a condom, they aren't 100% safe, and they dont work 100% either. so...you might want to reconsider and rethink what you're doing before you make the wrong choice.

i think that first, you should get to know him a little...maybe send him a note, or ask your friend to give it to him for you.....and ask him his name (if you dont already know it) and ..just ask him things and get to know him and then maybe tell him to call you when ur ready to talk to him

My best friend & I have known eachother forever and tell eachother everything. She has always been against smoking - she thinks it's stupid and it smells horrible. The thing is, all her other friends smoke, but me. Recently, she has started to herself! She has actually given into the peer pressure and she never has before. I used to be so proud of her for standing up for what she believed and not smoking. Now, she's changing and smoking all the time just like her friends. How do I talk to her about this? I'm so disappointed in her but I'd do anything to get my old, brave best friend back.

if you dont feel comfortable talking to guys in person, you can write him a letter. do you have any classes with him? because then you could pass a note to him before or after class...or, if you dont feel comfortable giving him the note yourself, then ask a friend to do it.
i used to be shy when it came to guys too, and then as you get older, you open up some! you get to know them better and the shyness wears off.

Im still not exactly sure whay happened...but one day after school my mom told me that dad went to the hospitol cuz hes depressed.A day later he got transferred to this phychiatric hospitol. (nothing like the padded walls where ppl are extremely crazy) but its a place for ppl who are depressed and stay there and see phychiatrists and stuff. I viisited him once but i acted coldly towards him...things were awkward plus i was scared. What can i do to make him feel better?
