im 14 and ive never really been secure with myself. i feel like i never look good and that im overweight. theres this guy in my school that i really like but somehow i dont think that he would ever date me because of the way i look and we dont really talk because im too scared he'll think "what the hell is she doing". how can i lose weight and then like.. get courage to talk to him?

Loosing weight is very hard but trust me you feel so much more confident about yourself when you even loose a few pounds. The trick to loosing weight is so stop eating junk food and excersize daily. Pills, drinks, and all those other diet programs are just expensive and sometimes don`t work. I am on a diet now and have been sucessful in the past 3 months. What I did was start up an excersize plan. Walking about 30-60 minutes a day even more, it makes your body feel better and yourself. For food wise, stay away from any fast food resturants, and junk food. I know food crazings are hard to overcome but when you do get some try eating healthier food like cucumbers, salads, apples, bananas, and other stuff or Drink LOTS of water cause it will fill your stomach up & It helps keep your body hydrated and cleans it out. As for another drink you can drink is DIET green tea believe it or not it really cleans out your body and intestines ;). If you seem to be having difficulty staying on the diet, you can go the doctor. I know they can help you. As for trying to build your confidence, you can try wearing makeup, get a new haircut, buy a new outfit. As for talking to the guy you like, if you still don`t feel comfortable enough then wait. A quote I like too use "if a guy doesn`t like you at your worst then he doesn`t deserve you at your best." If he doesn`t like you then move on and wait for a guy to come to you. :) If you need some more advice just leave a message in my inbox! Good luck. ♥
Love is a really big serious word.
It's not like you date a guy for a day and you automatically love him. I've been dating this guy for 5 months .. And I can't decide If I love him because I like him a lot ! A lot, I just dont know beacuse we're pretty young only 14 and It seems weird to use love like that. I think I love him, just when I say that.. it sounds too powerful
You can fall in love at any age and time. Loving someone means you have very strong feelings for them. There is no way to describe what love is & if you really love someone. You just know if you do. Maybe you do love him, but you don`t think you`re ready to get into a serious relationship. I`ve seen people that young fall in love and last for a very long time. If you don`t think you are in love with him then tell him you don`t know if you want to say i love you just yet. Hope this helps. ♥

Don`t ask him out until you are positive he has the same feelings too. Try being really good friends and when you feel you`re ready then do it or maybe he will. Don`t ask him out right on the spot just start telling him how you feel and what your feel your relationship is now and that you would like to more than friends. :) ♥

Everyone commits tons and tons of sins a day. I don`t think watching those kinds of movies are a sin unless you actually want to go out and kill ppl, ect lol. I don't understand this. Many people are beginning to say X-mas. Well, the whole point of Christmas is because it is the birth of Christ. Isn't calling Christmas X-mas taking the whole point of Christmas away?
X-mas is a shorter way of saying Christmas. I don`t understand why people say it. The holiday is about Christ and his birth. I think of it as since we aren`t really sure when he was born we throw him a birthday party on December 25th every year lol & it`s a tradition because of that. I personally usually say Merry CHRISTmas. But I do agree with you that saying x-mas does take the point of it being called Christmas away. Merry Christmas! (: ♥

Yeah okay so.
There's this girl and she was like my best friend for awhile. We were on our school's basketball team together and stuff and then, recently, we got in a fight.
I liked a guy for five years, but stopped liking him for awhile and she thought she liked him first.. well now he likes me and i still like him because i guess i never got over him. Hey everyone. Well, I started my period about 5 days ago and have a few questions. #1: How long does a period last?? #2: How long should you wait to start wearing tampons? and then i have a concern. i wear pads of course, but blood has gotten into EVERY pair of underwear i wear. what can i do about this? i can't go out buy a whole supply of underwear every week. Periods can last from 5-7 days or more. You should wait until your comfortable enough to wear tampons. As so for leaking, I suggest you buy "night time long pads" or w/e they`re called, they`re thin and very long so there is no change of really leaking. If you still leak just put stain stick on your underwear and wash them when you can. Hope this helps. ♥
