So there's this friend of mine, let's call him Joe. He goes to a different high school and I haven't hung out with him in a month. Sometimes, he texts me and, and I don't really know what to say. I'm really shy. I've never had a guy that I'm attracted to text me before. Last night, he texted me while he was in Puerto Rico,( which was really nice) and we talked for and hour and a half. texting can actually be a very flirty way to talk to someone. what do you think the winky smiley face is for?! text him if you just feel like talking to him, and if you feel uncomfortable, just tell him you have to go. texting is easy to communicate because you can do that. hah. or if you're more comfortable, give him a call. good luck!

it is not a good nor bad thing. it probably will happen to every woman at some point of their life. "popping your cherry" means to break the hymen(thin layer of skin stretched over the vagina). it could happen many ways, from having sex to gymnastics to using tampons. it is completely normal.

I always like to act and dress up like a little kid sometimes (I'm 16!) and sometimes I have this urge to scream or shout I HAVE DOWN SYNDROME =] when I'm outside.

it could be offensive to some, and not to others. just be careful who you say it around. make sure not to say it in front of people with down syndrome or people with relatives with down syndrome. be very careful about it, it may be a sensitve subject.

most likely, he will think its adorable when you "mess up". just like girls, guys think its cute when girls do or say the "wrong thing". and being a major flirt doesn't hurt. so when you lean in to kiss him say something cute or flirty like "i'll try not to mess up this time" or something to that purpose. and about the leaning in thing, guys love it when girls lean in 90%. they also like it when girls make the move. so just relax, and go with what you feel. be calm, cool and collected. your guy will love it! good luck!

yes. they're called wall posts. their the same as comments, but you can click on the link that says "wall-to-wall" and see the conversation between two people. you can also send links, videos, and pictures. the person you were looking at just probably doesn't have any wall posts yet. you'll eventually get the hang of it. good luck!

I have 2 "bffs". They are sorta mean to me, but not all the time. I tried to talk to them before but they call me the mean one, which they have no right to do cuz I am sooooooo nice to them. don't tell them you don't want to be their friend anymore, just kind of "fade away". same with the guys. don't really ask them to be their friend, just kind of "fade into" their group. like ask them if they want to hang out one weekend or something. good luck!

alright this might sound strnge but..
Okay last time I had sex was august, I don't remember if I got my period I september but I KNOW I got it in October. I missed november and so far, December. My friends tell me its probaly because I only had my period for not even a year and its still irregular, but i don't know I'm convinced I'm preagnut I even think I'm getting bigger and in losing my appitate. My friends say its all in my head but I'm still not sure , and I'm terrfied to get a home test because of the reaslut what should I do

the getting bigger and losing your appetite is probably all in your head. if you got your period in october then you are most likely not pregnant. but if you're that worried, you should take a pregnancy test. good luck!

if you have naturally straight or wavyish hair, it would look nice straight. i have that problem. my hair's not straight enough to not straighten and not curly enough to not curl. it is a hassle, but when i want it to look nice i straighten it. try a ceramic straightener for little damage. good luck!

oh the luxury of beign too skinny. eat all the time, as much as your little tummy can take! try to eat fattening, but healthy things. for instance, nuts, cheese, olives, avacados, bread, ect. unhealthy fattening foods probably wouldn't exactly hurt you but try to stick to healthy foods. good luck!

I am 19 years old. I am in college. I am a junior. I started working parttime at a after school program. I start that Dec. 1. The last time I had my period was Nov. 21 or the day before Thanksgiving 2007. I was raped by my friends cousin on Dec 8. He did use a condom. His cousin talked to him afterward and she said he said the condom didnt break or anything because the next day i started worrying about pregnancy. Plus he was my first so I was sore and i had bleeding but enough like a paper cut. Anyway, I didnt get my period yet. But when i start to work like I just did... my period usually come late. it did that twice this year already that my period was weeks late when i started working. I quit and it goes back to being regular. So can I be pregnant? (link)

your boyfriend probably thinks its cute that you "mess up". when you two are alone would be the best time to kiss him. preferabley after you have a conversation and you're both done talking(we all know those awkward silences) look into his eyes and take his hands and kiss him. that kiss could turn into a french kiss! unless you're uncomfortable with it, go with it! good luck!
