Whatever you do, make sure you can keep the audience's attention. Use lots of examples and if you can, bring in some type of visual aid to help you out. The 10 minutes will fly by.
-The one on current technology wouldn't be too bad. You could make them think about how the world would be without internet and cell phones.
-Also, the abortion one would be good since your teacher would have a harder time marking your grade down for your opinion. Talk about like teens and abortion. Mention stuff like how it affects people not only physically and mentally. Also, not only how it affects them now, but research how it can affect them in the future.
-Another one you might look into, would be something along the lines of lab testing on animals. It is also a very controversial issue. I did a report on that, and found some great stories about it. There are stories about animals that were rescued from labs, and the treatment the animals get before, during, and after the testing. FOr that one, talk about how if we buy products of companies that test on animals, we are helping pay for them to harm these poor creatures.
-something else that would be good, Violence in the media. We talked about this in my Social Problems class. You could talk about how every day the media shows us some type of violence. It is such a part of our everyday lives. People are so used to it, it doesn't bother most people anymore. We're used to seeing bloody crime scenes on CSI and people getting shot on NYPD Blue. We have grown up in a society that promotes violence. That would be an easy one to do.
- You might look into doing one on Cell Phones in general. They are a good thing, but can also be a nuisance (sp?) People leave them on in school and church and disturb those around them. Places have resulted in using a new paint that blocks all cell phone signal inside the building. You could talk about how cell phones are both good and bad, like a comparison of the pros and cons of the technology advances. Also, you can talk about how cameras on the cell phones can be abused. Since everyone carries their cell phones with them, they have access to a camera all the time too. They can take pictures and use them for blackmail when someone does something they shouldn't. They can also get pictures and the other person doesn't know it.
- One last thing and i swear im done. -
- College Costs. College is so expensive today, and there isn't enough government money to help out the families that can't afford to send their children to school. Show how in state and out of state tuition compare, and how a small scale college costs in comparision to a large university.

I downloaded a program called Ifran View from www.downloads.com to use to resize pictures. It keeps them in proportion and makes them smaller for you. Its a great program for many things.

well..i'm a senior in high school..and i applied to lots of colleges and got accepted..the problem is..im worried about it. like im already overwhelmed with high school classes..and i cant imagine classes being harder than they already are..and no i dont go to a private school or anything like that..so what do i do? Well.. my sister is going to a small college. The worst part of her moving, was getting used to being away from her family. She's only like 2 hours from home, but its still a big change from her. She loves her classes and professors. Shes also made quite a few friends. Some of the classes are different than youll be used to, but i think you'll be fine adjusting. Just relax after you get there and take it easy. Try not to overwhelm yourself and get into partying. Just have fun.

Okay so i have to get my wisdom teeth out IN EXACTLY A MONTH my mom just told me today.(she just booked it) I am pretty much terrified right now! I dont know what to get..the "shot" or the "gas" id rly prefer the gas b.c i hate getting shots in my arm..eww it grosses me out! But can any of you tell me which is better (expirenced answers are probaley the best) I really need to know, and can you tell me how long it will hurt after, and will it hurt while in the process. I got put under with a shot. It doesn't hurt during the surgery. Depending on how you have to get it done. I have to get my fully cut out, they had just begun to grow roots and they wanted to take them out before they could cause any problems. Usually teens get put completely out because the extent of the surgery. It all depends on your dentist/surgeon too. I was completely out during the surgery and they left the needle there to keep pumping the stuff into me to keep me "out" the whole time. I didn't feel anything until a few hours after i woke up. As long as you keep taking the pain killers they give you, your fine. If your late taking them, especially in the first day or two, its hell. The swelling stayed in my face for like 4-5 days. The second day after the surgery, the swelling is the worst. Make sure you keep ice on both sides of your face, and after the ice is useless, use a warm compress. It helps get rid of the swelling faster.
Its not as bad as it sounds. I was afraid of it too. Don't worry, it'll be just fine.

I'm not sure of a specific program, but you might look at www.downloads.com and see if they have a program that would suit you. They have free trials and full programs to download. Usually I find exactly what i need there.
Also, my computer came with a program called "windows movie maker" which allows you to edit videos.

I don't support what Hitler did, but i do believe he was a great leader. He had a horrible plan for what he was doing, but he did know how to be a leader. Look how many people actually followed him at the time. Just because he killed millions of people, doens't necessarily make him a bad leader, it just makes him a bad person.

One of my guy/friends asked me out today, and my friend put me under a lot of presure of what tosay, so I said I'd think about it. He smiled and went on about his buisness. Then like, 10 seconds after the last bell rang one of my friends told him I'd said yes, but I hadn't.
Then at 4:59(sry 'bout that, I do that all the time) one of my other guy/friends who had him over called and asked me what I was gonna say because he wanted to know. As I said earlier, I hate being under so much as the tiniest bit of pressure, and I said "I guess." Know, I wish I could go back in time or kill myself. I don't like him, I like another guy, I don't totally trust him, and my mom said I couldn't have a boyfriend until I was 16. So now, I am disobaying my mother(whom I love very much and hate disobaying) gong against my scences, betraying myself( since I like someone else), killing myself from so much pressure, guilt, and worry, afraid I'll hurt him, might loos a friend, and wishing I could kill myself. HOW HORRIBLE!!!! HOw would I break up with him without hurting him or lossing his friendship??? (link)

Tell him the truth. Tell him that your friend went ahead without your okay and told him yes. He should understand. He might be a little hurt at first, but things will be fine. Just explain the situation to him. Try to be sensitive about it and listen if he has anything to say. I wouldn't recommend telling him you like someone else. That would make him feel bad. Just let him know that you love being friends but you don't feel any chemistry between the two of you and you just want to keep it at a friendly level

To be honest, and this probably isn't what you want to hear. I really don't have much advice on kissing. You really do have to just go with it. I'm sure he's nervous too. Since its a first time for both of you, he really has no power to judge your kissing technique. As you get more comfortable with it, you'll losen up and not even worry about it. I really can't give you advice on this topic, i'm really sorry. It really is just one of those things you have to get comfortable with on your own. Trust me, once its over with, you'll be like "what was i so worried about"

Umm.. my boyfriend LOVE me kissing his neck. I don't know if your good at that.. some girls aren't, but you might try it. And just nibble his ear occasionally while your doing it, and breathe deeply as you nibble his ear. Most guys are turned on by that. Also, he loves it when i straddle him while we're kissing and stuff.. it gives him more control over your movements.

You really do need to find a way to quit. I know it seems like a part of your life at this point, but it's best if you find a way to get out. Ecstasy is not something you want to be involved with. I have friends who did that and ended up doing so much they regret. You really can mess yourself up badly with it. I'm not expert on this topic, but I really think you need to stop. It probably sounds impossible, but get friends support that aren't into drugs. It's the best thing for your health and your future. I took the time to look up some information for you about the effects of ecstasy. You might check into them for yourself and see what your doing to your body.

At wal*mart they have these brushes that are called paddle brushes. They're like $4. They are square and fairly large, but they are amazing. Thats the only type of brush i can use. I think Conair makes them. You might try one

They make silicone pads to but in bras and bikini tops. They're like $20 at wal*mart. You put them in your top below your actual boobs and it pushes your natural boobs up and adds size to them .. and it looks real.. you just gotta watch they dont fall out if you do something that could make your top come loose

Ok...so im not a virgin but everytime ive had sex i told the guy to keep my bra on. Don't worry about it. I have the same hair problem.. just shave it. Sounds bad.. but to be honest, it doesn't grow back as fast as you would think.
As for the boobs, i'm the same way. My bra size is a D.. but my boobs seriously look like a B outside my bra. No worries. The guy will be way to preoccupied to notice the difference. As long as you have a little something there and don't stuff.. your fine. Its not a big deal at all.

First of all, you deserve better than your current boyfriend. He may be telling the truth and not cheating on you, but if he's been lying to you, theres no reason to stay in the relationship. Everyone deserves to be happy and he doesn't seem to make you happy at all. Even though your in love with him, it's best to end it now before things get too serious and you can't get out of the relationship.
As for your ex, stay friends for now. It's best not to get into another relationship right off the rebound of another. It sucks waiting, but if you both like each other as much as you think, the wait will be worth it in the end.

Why not have 4 plants.
One having half the recommended amount of fertilizer, one without fertilizer, on with the recommended amount, and one with more.
Then you can draw conclusions based on whether the amount recommended works best, or if more or less should be used.

You can used the boxed dyes from a store. I've dyed one of my guy friend's hair numerous times with store bought dye. You just have more left over since most guys have shorter hair.
