I like giving advice.
One day, I want to make a living out of it.
There's really nothing in the world that I like more than:
Music [New Wave, Electronic, Alternative, HipHop]
Photography [I take many pictures]
Friendships [They're really important me]
& Helping out people [I am always helping out]
There's really not a lot to me.
Other than I like to help out people.
Sometimes, I think that I should take my own advice.
But I rarely do =/

I was dating this guy for a few months while he was on house arrest [Don't worry he's innocent].Now he might be leaving for boot camp. How do I convince my parents to let me go to his house to see him [[since he can't leave because of the house arrest]] before he goes? They know he's on house arrest and that we've dated AND I've been over there with him three times before with my parents permission.

Tell them about the situation. Tell them that you want to say goodbye before he leaves to bootcamp. And maybe tell them that they can come. If you'd think that was okay. Make sure to mention that it's going to be the last time you see him for a long time. And that he's someone important in your life.

recently this group of immigrants from africa came over and i was to show them around school...a couple of them were girls and i ended up dating and having lots of unprotected sex with them...they were about 17 so theyve deffinetly have had sex in africa...i always puilled out in time but do u think i might have AIDS or HIV? what should i do i dont want my parents or anyone else to know.

There is a very high chance that you may have it. I can only tell you to get tested. You can go to a teen health clinic and have yourself tested there. I am pretty sure that they are pretty anonymous. Atleast the one's where I live are. If you do turn out positive, It's best to tell your parents as soon as possible. Sure it will break their heart. But they can help you through it. And if you turn out negative, try your best to use a condom so you won't have to go through this again.

I am in a HUGE fight with one of my best friends at school and she is a really complicated person to get along with! Fights with her are like going into world war! I already said sorry and she isn't cracking! This was all over a HUGE misunderstanding about this boy but then we brought up other things like how we were never really were friends and sometimes I just find myself crying over it all! What should I do? I really don't want to lose my best friend!

Well, since you appologize there's really nothing you can do. Just keep appologizing until she cracks. Talk to her and tell her that everything was a misunderstanding. Tell her how you feel about the whole fight and that it's unneccesary to get like that over a boy.

Well me and my current boyfriend have been through the same process. Friends for a long time and then a couple. And as for a gift, I remember he made me a card and bought be a teddybear. Perhaps, you can get her that. If not, buy her something she really likes. Maybe you can write her a poem or sing her a song. Girls always like that.

Hi, im a 14 year old girl, and recently a group of people i used to hang out with have been doing cocaine. The only reason i ever hung around them was because I was dating one of the people who does cocaine the most. I was very deeply in love with him ( i know, im young, and im not trying to be like those silly 9 year old girls who claim they're in love with everyone. I was really in love with him and it was a serious relation ship) hes changed completely and does coke alot. I dont really care about the others. They are my friends..we..aquantences..and all, but I know none of them will ever listen. They love it tooo much. And even if he's with other people who are in love with him and care about him, im happy hes happy, but I still worry that if they cant put any control over him...how will i ever be able to help? Its turned into a vicious cycle or stealing hundreds of dollars of cocaine and getting into fights. None of them really talk to me anymore, but I feel restless like i should do somthing. You have the responsibility for the people you care for right? Cocaine is almost a fad now. And its getting kind of irritating. Part of me feels like this isnt my buisness. Im not doing cocaine, so why worry? But then agian, if one of them were to die. How would I feel not making an attempt?

I have been in your situation. And all I can say is that the best thing to do is too tell their parents. Sure they won't like you afterwards. But it's best that they don't like you than to have them dead. If you let this go far, someone could get hurt or they could die. If you don't want them to know, tell their parents what they are doing and that you would like to keep anonymous. But I strongly recommend letting an adult handle this. You are too young to handle this all by yourself.

I've been with my boyfriend for about a week. He is friendly and has a ton of friends, although he's not considered popular and he's definitely not a jock. Since we've been together we've gone as far as taking all of our clothes off except underwear. He constantly makes sure I'm comfortable with this because, as he puts it, I'm too important to him to ruin it over something like moving too fast.
I'm completely okay with how far we've gone, and its comforting that he seems to care about me. However, everytime we hang out we only make out and never talk. I know a relationship needs more than physical aspects, and he assures me that he's not looking for a purely physical relationship. How do I make sure he's not just using me? Thanks in advance.

If you want to make sure he's not using you, one day when he wants to do it, tell him that you don't feel like doing it today. if he gets mad, there's a probability that he is using you. and if he's understanding and is okay with not doing it, then he's not.

Alright so my sisters think I might have diabetes. I have bad moods swings, but that could just be because i'm a girl. I drink alot(not alcohol)cause i'm always thirsty. My hands have been hurting all day and I did'nt do anything to them. My hand and feet get all tingley (sp?) sometimes. I don't my sisters just mentioned it and it just kind of made me think. I don't know if any of this helps. Does anyone else think I might have diabetes?

Well, my dad has diabetes and his hands get sweaty and they hurt out of nowhere. And he is always thirsty. But then again, you can be paranoid. So, I advice that you go to your doctor and get checked up.

You should find out how he feels about you. Maybe get one of his friends that is also friends with you and make them find out how he really feels. If he tells his friends that you only want to hug him, just give him a taste of his own medicine. And just back away from the hug and tell him that you don't want one today. And when he says hi, say hi back but pretend to care less. Like say it then look away.

My boyfriend doesn't even care about me anymore. I feel like our relationship has run it's course, even though I want it to keep going. I want him to care about me again. How do I get him to care about me again? Or is this just over?

Other people have their ways of coping: Getting back and getting revenge, like seeing other people to make your partner jealous. A lot of people doing things to get attention, which is usually self-destructive, like drugs, drinking or being promiscuous. I don't want to do those things because I'm not stupid. Those aren't even the right things to do and will only drive him away.

I'm going back to college soon and I thought that'd be reason enough for him to see me more, like he should see me as much as he can before I leave.. but sometimes I feel like he'll be glad to get rid of me.

He makes me all these promises that he can't keep. It's funny because HE is the one who offers to see me on his day off, then ends up canceling after I had been waiting for him for three hours. This keeps happening, and stupid me, I always think he's gonna pull through. When we DO see each other, it's like he only does it so I'll shut up.

Every time I call and confront him about this, I pour my heart out and end up getting yelled at. He says, "This is exactly the reason why I don't want to see you. All you do is whine and nag." I feel like he doesn't try to listen. I DO understand that he's tired, but then again, HE is the one who proposes that we go out in the first place and ends up standing me up for one reason or another.

Am I wrong? Is he wrong? I don't even know what to do anymore. All I've learned is that I gave and gave and gave and got spat on in return. It's like I went against the world to be with this guy and ended up with nothing. I feel like banning relationships for a loooong time.

Well, I wouldn't say he doesn't care about you until you actually talk to him. So, for that I say you talk to him about his feeling and if he feels the same way. Or our his feelings fading away. I think that you shouldn't get back with revenge. It's really stupid, because like you said, you're only drive him away. I think that he is wrong. If he's making plans and then canceling, I think that you deserve atleast and explanation other than you nagging and whining. You should talk to him and ask him what's wrong. And tell him how you feel about the whole thing. Tell him that you've gave up a lot and that you don't deserve to be ignored like that. And if he continues like that, I say you dump him. Because you deserve someone to care for you. But don't ban relationships for a long time, just give yourself enough time until you're ready.

Well, I guess it depends how bad it was. If it was really bad, then screw it. You asked them out and they blew you off like that, you don't deserve that. I personally wouldn't go for it anymore.

My two best friends are fighting and i'm in the middle of it. They want me to choose sides. What should I do?

Tell them that you're not going to choose sides. You want to stay mutual with them. And that they should settle their own differences and not get you in it. Sit down with them and help them solve their problems with one another. But just make sure that you're not in the middle of it. Tell them that it's not fair on you because you're not the one with the problem.

In my old school i liked a teacher.Is that normal?

That's perfectly normal. Many young people like their teachers. It basically comes from spending a lot of time with them. I mean, 5 days a week is a lot. And spending that much time with the opposite sex, you can develope feelings for them. No matter what age. What I am trying to say is that everyone has that teacher crush. I wouldn't worry about it.

So I got fired from a job I loved.

Just know that you're not the only that gets fired from a job. There are many jobs like it, maybe even better. Getting fired from a job shouldn't be a big deal. Just find another job similiar to your old job. And things would be fine.

If you want to have sex, get together with your mom. And listen to what she has to say about it. Listen to her side of the story. And then tell her that you listened you, now she has to listen to your side of the story. Tell her how you feel about the whole thing. And that you still want to have sex. Maybe you guy can come to a compromise. Tell her that if she let you out of the house, you will be responisble about it. And you should be responsible about it. Try to get her on your side and tell her that's it's perfect normal for a girl your age to have sex.

There's really nothing you can do. Most people who are getting divorced get into fights. Just sit down with both of them. And tell them how you feel about them fighting. And if they want to fight, tell them to fight when you're not around. Because you don't deserve being in the middle of all their fighting.

You need to gather around with people who you really think that can help you. Close friends, family, etc. Tell them that you need help. And that you need them to help you. You should stop being around alcohol. Hang out less with the people who let you drink. And go to rehab and/or AA.
