i have a crush on this guy i have known him since second grade but he only gives me a hug when his freinds are around to tease me like he even said to his freind she always wants to hug me and he said watch and i try to ignore him when he says hi to me but i can't i like him too much.
from,
do not know what i am doing wrong.
If I had to give my personal opinion on the situation, I'd say that maybe you should ignore him for a while. Yeah, you said it will be hard, but the least you can do is try.
You're not doing anything wrong. You like him, big deal! Every girl has feelings for a guy friend at some point in her life, and it's totally fine. What isn't fine is him treating you like this.

i think you should just grade some down time with him you know? like invite him to a swimming party or small get togethr at a friends our your house. talk to him and see if he will hug you way from his friends.
Get your friend to ask him if he likes anyone. tell her not to be to avooious that you like him. when he tells he get her to say (let's say your name's Allie,) Allie's not on that list? Than she can ask why and so fourth.
than when you know why you can work on the errors and other things. try hanging out with him, talking to him, and when it all falls down to it, tell him how you feel. [ Kittzen's advice column | Ask Kittzen A Question ]

Maybe get one of his friends that is also friends with you and make them find out how he really feels. If he tells his friends that you only want to hug him, just give him a taste of his own medicine. And just back away from the hug and tell him that you don't want one today. And when he says hi, say hi back but pretend to care less. Like say it then look away.
