well trust me im sure there are thousands of people that can relate to you, maybe you dont even know because there trying to hide that. try to reach out to people, not just one social clique but everyone. Be friendly, part of the problem is if you just give up nothing will happen. try to make friends, study, as for help for help from teachers on work, then it should go well from there. trust me if you just give up on yourself nothing will come easy, and it will make you feel nothing but worse on yourself. so try, and know that you are not the only one that feels that way. Because what you just said happend to me like last year or so. i felt alone, all i did was go on the internet and watch tv, my grades wernt the best. I felt alone and didnt have true friends and stuff, i felt like there was a space between my friends and i. but when i reached out to others and tried harder everything went more easy. Now i have pretty close friends, doing well in school, and think il have a bright future.

Q: okay so my first socer practice was last wednesday and it went horrible!
this girl kicked me in the knee and i went to the hospital to get it checked out and its dislocated.....well in going in to high school and because of my knee i have to wear this big ugly thing on my knee it has 9 velcro straps and goes up to the thigh and ends at the ankle. well any ways....this isnt exactly how i imagnied my first day of high school.....and im really self concious about the imobelizer [[the thing around my leg]]....i've never had any kind of injury except ankle sprains so im nervous about what people are gonna say meaning the new cute guys that are their that im not even gonna know......
well my question is, does anyone think i have anything to worry about....im worried that their gonna freak when they see it 'cause i personally dont think cruches and a big ugly thing on your leg is very attrative...does anyone get what im saying....
do you think that they will be like....oh! let me help you with that.. or.....wow!thats weird.....
im just so worried!!!

i wouldnt worry too much, everyone is nervous the first day of school, and the last thing people will be thinking about "oh that girl has an injury i dont want to hang out with her" its actually a great way to start up a conversation, someone may ask what happend and then the conversation may keep going, and also someone may offer help, or you can ask. Also you would have your friends there to help you out. And the cast will get off one day, and people know that. like i said everyone is nervous the first day, and im sure everything will be okay. just remember to be yourself, friendly, and calm.

So my cousin has this friend....and i recenly met his friend. ive talked to him before texting, but i ment him when my cousin had him over. it turns out he likes me alot. he's 18. he's afraid of the age difference...and because if we were to be in a relationship, he doesn't want my cousin..who are best friends, he doesn't want to ruin friend relationships. well with the age as long as you both have an understanding and respect, age doesnt really matter that much. i kind of see why theres some doubt with this, because your cousin's friend, and your cousin care about you very much and doesnt want to see anyone get hurt in this. Your cousin may feel weird because he will be afraid he may get left out, lose you and his friend, or get in the middle of things. your cousins friend may feel awkward with this because he doesnt want anyone left out, nor anyone hurt. I would try to take it slow, talk to both your cousin and cousins friend about this. you dont want things to get messy, make sure everyone is comfortable with this and is ready.

i love the girls and everything. but they have a reputation i guess and i dont see it in all of them. but even the ones that do have a "whore" reputation are great people.

well the only way really to clear that is to reach out to other people, not only your varsity team, let others know you. Also if anyone ever calls you a "whore" or anything just think that they dont really know you there just judging you by what you do and who your friends are, which is wrong and kind of immature. Try not to let other people get to your head, and try to reach out to others so they know who you are, which can clear the rep for you and your friends =]

Q: I dont stand out. I think Im youre average plain Jane or whatever. My closest friends are moving away and theyve changed so much, so I guess I dont mind the move. I feel like with school coming up September, its time for a change of my own :]
I love love love the way scene girls dress. Yess, Im a girl, fifteen by the way. Im not saying I want to be a scene kid, specifically. haha im kind of the same way, try out some of the styles at home and invite your friends over and ask for their opinions, everyone has there own style, and your just experimenting, alot of the kids at my school like to wear those bright jeans and colors, patters. so try the styles out at home first see if you feel comfortable with wearing those kinds of clothing, experiment =]

Q: it's kind of along story but i'll try to make it quick...
when i was like 7-9 my dad was dating this chick and we were living with her and her son, me and him were great friends and he was my everything, he was like my superman, he'd fly in and protect me from my abusive sister and he was always there for me... then one day it all just stopped, i only saw him once after that like 3 years later, my dad and his mom broke up then my dad got involved in a ton of legal stuff... life was hectic.
but 7 years later (i'm 16 and he's 18) i ran into him through about 7 coincidental friendships, everyone just barely linked together.
so me and him went out for about a month, it was great, it was perfect, i was crazy about him and he was crazy about me... but then it just stopped... again (o i should mention tha the's always high, he's a pot head, like the worst pot head i've ever met he's never not high, i mention this because alot of my friends that i've dicussed this with think that this fact has alot to do with his behavor...o well back to the story)
through conected friends i heard that he stopped seeing me because i wouldn't "put out"... i couldn't belive it... then i saw hiom again at this party (which was at his new house... i was unaware of this at the time) but i got pretty drunk and we fooled around after everyone left, he wanted sex and i still didn't so we went to sleep, then in the morning i tried to leave without him noticing and he woke up and seemed like he was really hurt i'd try to leave without telling him... so we said our goodbyes and he told me to call him later that day (after i got off work) but here's the curious part, one of his bastfriends who i'm good friends with said that right after i left he called him adn he was all pissed off and i "blew my last chance" (like to get with him)
so i deleted his number from my phone and i decided never to talk to im again... but i can't stop thinking about him, it's been about 2 months since that day and i can't ever get him off my mind, he never calls i never call... i'm trying really hard to get over it, i've dated alot of other guys and i just can't stop wishing they were him or comparing them to him... how can i get over him? why can't i forget about him, i'm usually that person that doen't get involved with relationships and i don't get attached... but in a month he made more of an impact then this guy i was dating on and off for like 3 years... i really can't get him off my mind...

okay well i think that maybe the reason you cant get over him is because he was a big impact in your life. He was there for you when you were a kid, and then you got together as you guys got older. I think that you may feel like you really do love him when you just might miss him being in your life, feeling like you lost a big part of something in your life. Also what may be the problem is you never wanted it to end the way it did. If you really do want to call him as a friend, or just try to think more and sort your feelings out, do you really like him(dating way)? or do you just miss him being in your life?

yeah, some schools say dont wear heavy make up, i think its because they think its not necessary for younger people to wear make up, or maybe they think it may be some distraction. I know some people like to go over bored with it. Also they may think you will put some make up on during class, which some ppl do. but thats the only ideas i can really think of.

Q: So I've known this girl for about 8 years,
But never really got to know her until a couple months ago.
We started hanging out, and have become really good friends, but we both wan't to be more than just friends. The thing is, we are both a little hesitant to start 'dating' (we kinda skipped that one) because we don't want to make things awkward, and lose our friendship.
Let me mention that I'm 18, and have never had a girlfriend before. (so I really have no idea what I'm doing) I try to break a few barriers by putting my arm around her, holding hands, etc,

On a somewhat related note, my dad's income just got reduced HUGELY, so now he wants to move 2,000 miles away from here, to try and find a better job.

haha i had the exact same problem, my parents were beyond stubborn. lets see i tried to make deals, write a letter explaining the good uses of a cell including emergancys also maybe print out some good information about cell phones, but this part you may not like but maybe try to add some limits. like uhh if you go over the bill you will pay, and you take responsibility, try to make some rules that your parents would be impressed. explain how you feel about you being old enough to have onee

Q: How can I know whether a guy likes me or he's just friendly. My friend asked him who he liked, but he doesn't really tell people. :\
Ok, here are the things he does...
1.I was talking to him in the locker area, and his friend dragged him somewhere so I went to the study room next door, and a few minutes later he came in and said ''Oh I found you, I missed you!'' and pulled me with him.
2. I had a few free lessons in a row, so we hung around together, and we talked a lot.
3. We had an assembly, and he didn't sit with his class, and he came and sat next to me. We would look at each other for a bit, and then make faces.
Also during the assembly he was tapping my knee randomly, and then he was doing that hand tapping thing. I'll try to describe it :) like you put your pinky down first, then the finger next to it, and so on...I hope you get what I mean?
4. We were sitting on a two benches opposite each other, I was sitting next to him and talking to loads of other people and then I left to get a drink, and one of his good friends was sitting next to him, but he made the guy move, so I could sit back.
5. I have known him for 3 days, but he is exactly like me, and I really like him. He talks to me more, than he talks some people he has known for years.
6. It takes us ages to say bye, and I end up hugging him 4 times before we actually go.
7. We were sitting next to each other and he put his head on my shoulder. For no random reason, and he just kept it there.
He has said that he doesn't fancy me..but I think he may. Btw he isn't like that with other girls.
