hi im not sure if this is in the right category but my mum wont get me a phone
ive tried everything but she wont seem to get me one
most of my friends have them and i want to keep in touch with them by textin and stuff but she keeps sayin u have to wait for christmas but that is 6 months away and i cant wait that long so can sum1 help me plz

I don't know your mom's personality but if she's a reasonable person and you write the letter in a way that makes her sympathetic, that could work. Mention how your friends are all contacting each other and you feel out of the loop. Also mention how by having one it is easier for you to contact HER while you're out and in case of an emergency :)
If she sticks to waiting until Christmas, I guess the best you can do is wait until Christmas. But if you sound desperate enough and she can afford to get you it, she may give in.
