You're over thinking this. Go talk to this kid. It doesn't matter whether HE means it or not, if you like him, take the chance that he is being serious and tell him. And anyway, shouldn't your friend already know that you like him? If you're good friends, she should know already that it would be a big mistake to date this guy, knowing full well that you like him. that'd be a slap in the face.

I am really white, but i have freckles on my face so every time i go in the sun my frackles seem to get darker but not my skin! i want to go to a tanning salon but iono how much it is, and i heard you could get cancer. should i just put sunscreen on my face then the freckles wont get darker but then i wont get a tan on my face too, what do i do??? Oy. Don't go tanning. It looks unnatural and everybody knows you don't really have that skin tone. See, the skin tone you have is the one you were MEANT to have. If you were meant to have a darker skin tone, you would have been born with it. Be happy with the skin tone you have, tanning makes you age faster anyway. And why do you want to look like an oompa-loompa anyway? Just go be yourself. Why do you want to do something that's dangerous to your health AND pay for it? I'm really pale too. You learn to stop fighting in. Self tanner makes it look like you've got dirt on your face and tanning salons make you look baked. If I was you, I would skip this stupid trend- it'll be gone soon anyway, and just stick with my natural color. Quit trying to be someone else.

Hey everyone, 15/m here and I wanted to get my ears pierced today, both of them. I asked my parents they said fine I could get it done. But right when I was about to be out the door my mom asks "which ear?" then I said both. And she gives me this look and asks "why?". She just goes and asks question after question after question after question and starts talking about what getting your ears pierced mean you're gay or some shit. Hello mom!!! That was last millenium, maybe if I wanted to get just my right ear pierced then that would mean I'm gay, but either way, I'm not, I had a g/f, she's seen her etc. Guys everywhere have both of their ears pierced, I see it in my school, I see it in the NBA, I see it in the NFL, in music videos. I don't know wtf is her prob with it being just my left or both. And I wanna get it done TODAY. What should I do?

Tell your mom that whole "left is right and right is wrong" stuff about guys and ear piercings is crap. It is anyway. Tell her you aren't gay, and it should matter even if you were, and that you don't care about that stuff. And then...go get your ears pierced. And you're right, a lot of guys get both pierced (I think it tends to look better anyway) If she won't let you...there's always the 'ol apple, ice cube, and needle old fashioned way (I saw this one guy who pierced his own ear in class without that stuff. It took him a while but he did it) I wouldn't advise it, necessarily, but it can be done.

that's not bi-polar. Bi-Polar is when you feel like you can do anything and then suddenly you feel like your world is crashing down on you. Kind of like a euphoria. Go talk to your friend and ask her what's up. Don't be accusing though, because she'll probably just get defensive then. Something is probably going on with her that she hasn't told you about. She seems to be pretty stressed out. Cut her some slack and give her some space and above all, be understanding.

What should you tell him? what are you supposed to be telling him? If I were you I'd just ask him who this mysterious chick is and why he's never around to answer the phone. If he gives you some lame answer that makes no sense or is hard to believe, go with your instincts and quit dating this guy. You could always ask his mom. It doesn't seem likely for someone's mom to cover for them, friends maybe , but his mom would remember what it feels like to be cheated on and would probably (should) have enough respect for you to let you know. Nobody deserves that.

Hmm...you're wearing them wrong. Go read the instructions on the box. If those don't make sense, it's sort of embarrasing but go ask your mom. And consider seeing a doctor, because not being able to walk from them is definately NOT normal. Food has nothing to do with the flow, it'll just either make cramps worse or take away some of the pain. Don't eat a lot of sugar, and exercize. But if I were you, I'd be going to the doctor by now.

how old are you? chances are you shouldn't even be considering having sex. Honestly...my dad puts it best "You put two people of the opposite sex together in a room....they'll eventually figure it out" So don't worry about it. well, you either aren't a phone person or you see him so much that you have nothing new to say on the phone. See, I really hate the phone. It's hard for me to talk to people I can't see. It's kind of like an audio-chat online- it's just weird to not see the actual reaction. So next time you see him, tell him you don't really like talking on the phone and that you shouldn't call each other so much unless it's for information- like dates, times for stuff, etc. And if you just don't like the phone...well, there's always instant message.

dude, if he dumps you because he doesn't have the guts to stand up to his friends, you're better without him. Go talk to him and see how he feels about the whole situation. You could maybe talk to his friends but chances are that they probably see you as a little kid for some strange reason and are probably just sort of mad because they don't get so much time with him. it's kind of a territory thing. So ignore his friends, and go talk to your boyfriend. He needs to know that you need his support and if he doesn't understand that, well then dude, it's time to say goodbye.

well i use to have really bad self esteem and it was hard for me to be out going or nething cuz im not the prettiest person in the world but nor am i the ugliest.. its just i have all these gorgeous friends and then theres me and i juz dont think im pretty.. ive gotten a lot more self esteem and am confident enuf now where i dont mind being loud and outgoing around ppl idk and i dont care wut they think.. but then there are times when ppl say mean things bout me and idk it still juz hurts :-/ how do i get more confidence and just not care wut others think? The trick is never comparing yourself to anyone else. They aren't you and you aren't them. The only person you should ever compare yourself to is you, comparing yourself from now to where you were a couple of years ago. The other thing is remember that the only reason people say mean things is that they're the ones who have low self-esteem and confidence. Keep in mind that people like that feel the need to put others down so that they feel better about themselves. So in essence, you're better than them. Remember that and be secure with who you are.

Break out a video camera and make a movie. Play a crazy card game- there's this one called Lunch Money (i think?) and you use different forms of punches and stuff (like uppercuts and kicks, stuff like that). It's kind of violent but fun. Put on some music. Go cook something. Walk around your neighborhood. And you know, there's this thing called conversation too...if you know, you and your friends...talk.

Well, if you don't know his name, ask who he is. Just go up and say hi. If you sit sort of near him in this class, then make a funny remark if something happens. Ask him if he knows some band you really like. Just TALK to him. It doesn't really matter what it is. Just go introduce yourself, and have confidence...like you know who you are and you have a reason for coming up to him. Be friendly. Be interesting. Be yourself. The best guys'll appreciate you for being you, not just some brainless airhead who looks nice. At least say hi and introduce yourself, it'll either get him talking to you, or have a weird awkward silence- which will force awkward laughter and then a conversation. Either way...it works. Just go for it.

hmm...love at first sight. There's no such thing. Love involves trust which means you have to know the person well. You can't instantly know a person well if you've just seen them. Okay..first off, it's not cum. Just to set the record straight. It's discharge and it's normal. If it goes all the way through to your pants, I'd say go see a doctor because you might have an infection. Plus, I think (I'm not sure on this one so go check it out) they might have some pill that slows it down a bit. But if it bothers you that much, go see a doctor. Or...ask your mom.

Umm...well if you think about it, all the old prophets were sort of phsychics. But seeing as all of those guys are dead, it's kind of hard for me to believe in these new guys. See, the thing is, this guy (or girl whatever) is probably just trying to call attention to themselves. If they want money- they're making stuff up. Even if they aren't- they're probably making it up. It's the same thing with the so called "healers". Get a Concordia study Bible and look it up in the back under index and see if it says anything against it (it also says the church leaders are a brood of vipers- not so nice, eh?) But either way, the sins of this person don't fall onto you. Your job is to just follow God, show him to others through your actions....stuff like that.
