I want to raise enough money to buy a nano iPod but many places you have to be 16 to work at. My friend told me that to work at McDonalds you can be 14(my current age) Does anyone know if this is true?
P.S-I know there food is the worst for you but I'm working there for the money.
Yes, it's true, but they dont let you prepare food or anything, i'm not sure if they let you work at the register or not, so you'll have to find that out.If you don't get in at Macdonalds, they hire at the age of 14 at Dairy Queen!

I'm 16 and I want to try contact lenses. My optician says it's all OK. I was just wondering if anyone had any really good/bad experiences with contact lenses they could tell me about, or if there are tips any of you might have? Are they really weird to get used to? I have a real thing about touching my eyes, I don't like it at all. Will I find this really difficult? What happens if you can't get it out?
Contacts the first week were really hard to get used to, but don't give up! Once you're used to them it's really easy. Don't be afraid of them not being able to come out because they always do! Sometimes they go to the side a little bit if you rub your eyes too hard but its no biggie they always come out

I definetley dont think you should lie to her cuz a good friend is honest, but you should tell her something along the lines of "I really dont think he's your type" or "He seems like a jerk from what people tell me" .Something you can think of that will take her mind off of him without telling her what she said.
ps- Tell her that you think she wears too much makeup (in a nice way!) and help her out.

oaky i have a RLY bad sweating problem! At school i sweat like heck and i cant help it! by the end of the day i have HUGE oit stains! Ive tried many different deoderants....first i started out with avon and then i tried secret (( the strong and invisable kind)) and now im using avon sport...none of them will work!!! please help me! what is a very strong deoderant???
I think its called certain dry,that stuff is amazing!im positive it will help you out and you can get it a like rite aid or something..

I am kind of scared because one of my friends got sexualy harrassed today, a guy lifted up her shirt in the hallway. One of my friends says that her boyfriend tried to rape her or sexually assalt her in the bathroom, she wont tell me if thats true. What should i do to get her to answer me, and what should i do about her harassment??
WOW..., that would be really hard to deal with.Right now, the best thing you can do is just be a good friend to her, and dont pressure her to tell you aobut the sexual harrassment thing. She's gone thru enough embarrasment, and when she's comfortable enough to tell you, then she will. Just be really nice to her and try to include her alot..awe i feel so bad for her!
I have a younger sister, she is 23 and I'm 27. We've never gotten along and I really wish someday that will change.
Part of the problem is that she has always been jealous of me. She is obese, at least 50 pounds heavier then me and is shorter by 4 inches. She's never had a boyfriend or alot of female friends, and I have.
I try to phone her sometimes and have a nice conversation but It's hard for me to be nice to her, because she'll say things like '"what do you want", or "stop calling". She's even been as rude as to correct my grammer.

well me and my sister are 10 years apart,and were best friends.But it hasnt always been that way.It just takes some time to really get to know eachother and find out eachothers likes and dislikes.Me and my sister used to always fight,but the more we spent time with eachother the better times we had with eachother.I suggest talking to her about how you feel and going out to lunch once in awhile...its a great way to have fun and bcome friends.

actually i have the same problem and its a little expensive,but in the proatcive panflet it says you can use it on your back but ive never tried it..also,you can ask your dermotologist,they will be able to help for sure

Well... I play tennis, and I'm really into it, and I love to practice. Tennis season was over, and I can't exercise as much anymore. My dad has arthritis and can't practice with me, and it's starting to get cold. I won't be able to practice tennis till about November. How do I stay slim till then without going to a gym? Or at least tell me how I can get high Motabolism. Thanks.
crunches are great,jogging,sit ups,staying away from junk,and drink lots of water--not only does it help you loose wieght, but its good 4 your skin =D thats a plus,and dont over do the excercising!!

Hey im agnostic, a pretty strong agnostic i guess... which might seem weird cuz when i was younger i was the most religous person in my family! None of us ever went to church but i really wanted to and stuff, and then as we got older everyone except my dad whose athiest got big on religon, except me, who just stopped believeing. I dont know why i just started to really think about it, and ask myself questions about it, and i just couldnt believe it anymore. Then later on i became wiccan for awhile, but i went through depression and stopped believing again. I think mostly religon is something that people really need to hold onto and believe in, and so they create it. I totally understand that religons tend to be good, and they have good values and things like that, but i dont think they're true. im not likely to change my mind [and yea i HAVE been to church], but i figured id give anyone a chance to explain to me how they know their religon is true... please don quote the bible unless ur gonna tell me how you know the bibles true too. And dont say you just KNOW, because people always tell me that they just KNOW that their god is the real one and not someone elses, and then that person comes up and tells me the same thing.

okay,I'm going to tell you right off the bat that im Christian,and Im just gonna tell you how it is and be very upfront.First of all, -look outside.How do you think all of this got here?Just by a big BOOM and there was life and man automatically had knowledge and knowing exactly what to do in the beginning, and everything was just perfect?Take a look in the mirror.Look at your eye..you think evoloution created that?Besides, even if evoloution were true,shouldn't everything be perfect by now? I mean, think about it, if everything just evolved, wouldn't the world have no suffering,pain or evil?The world would be perfect in every way..and i'm sure thats not how things are today.I can tell you that God exists and loves you MORE than you could imagine because I have a personal relationship with Him, and no one can touch that. You can't tell me my God isn't true because I have a relatoinship with Him.How can you say you are a strong agnostic when you don't have proof? There's enough proof out there that there's a God, its just that alot of people ignore it and wont believe it.God loves you so much.So much, that He sent His only son down to earth just so He could die so that YOU could be forgiven of sinning and go to heaven.Could you imagine doing that?If you want to know why everyone dosent worship God and believe in Him, its because He gave us a choice.A gift.What kind of gift would it be if we were just told to serve Him?Those who chose to do so will be blessed and go to heaven,but those who chose not to believe in Him will burn in Hell forever.Sound fun?lol jk, but i hope this helped you realize that there is an almighty God who loves you so much and is waiting for you to come back to Him but in a way youve never experienced before.Please keep me posted..
