me and my boyfriend have been really good but am always paranoid he'll leave me for someone else it really sucks because i want him just for me...hes always looking at other girls when we go out, i mean is that something i should be scared of?

i wouldn't worry about it.. when you think of it he chose you out of all the girls.. and he is with you. maybe you should tell him how you feel. i wouldn't worry to much!

For the past 2 years my heart has literally been back and forth between two people. I love them both for different reasons. But I'm getting older now (24 yrs) and realize its unfair of me to keep going back and forth. Recently my relationship with one fell apart and I have been talking again with the other one and things are cool... and I do love her but secretly i miss the other. My question is: how do I eliminate my feelings for one so that I can be focused on loving and treating who i am with the way she should be treated? I don't want to keep going back and forth when ever my ex decides she wants to be with me again. I know the person I am with now is the better person for me but I can't shake the feelings for my ex... help. (link)

well its impossible to just stop having feelings for her.. its never going to go away right when you want it to. i have been in the same situation with two guys. i couldn't get over my ex for awhile and then i realized that i did have feelings for him but he wassn't right for me and wasn't good for me either... and i knew i belonged with someone else. maybe you need sometime to think, take a break and relax your at an age where you have to freedom to be settling down or be single.
i think you may also need to sit down and talk to your ex tell her how you feel.. tell her that you only see her as a friend now and that you don't want to keep hooking up and then breaking up.. i told this to my ex and well he just doesn't seem to understand... then the next step is to tell your ex that you will be there for her as a friend and nothing more..
...but in the end its a decision you have to make.. but do what is going to make you happier and feel better. good luck and i hope everything works out!

ok, so a few weeks ago i told my ex-boyfriend that i didnt want to go out with him anymore after he asked me to homecoming (we've been going out off and on for awhile) and that i didnt want to lead him on. everything seemed ok, we still talked, until recently. we hadn't talked in a few days, no big deal, right? well his friend finally told me that he was mad at me but my ex didnt even tell him the full explanation as to why he was mad. i am totally confused, and he's one of those ppl who just completely shuts you out when he's mad. what am i supposed to do if i dont even know why he's mad at me? i texted him a lot but he didnt say much and today at school we avoided each other. everytime i go online he signs off. he wont answer his phone. what am i supposed to do??? im not a very patient person either so i dont know how long i can wait...im getting so frustrated! any suggestions? my ex is the same way.. honestly i think your ex needs to find out what he wants. he doesn't seem to show much a emotion.. he is probably mad at you because you guys aren't together. let him have his time to breath and think some stuff over. and when he wants to talk he'll come to you and if not forget about him. good luck!

my room mate and i were talking about this kind of situation yesterday. it seems that we girls like guys who treat us badly or don't like us for some reason. i know this probably isn't the answer you want but i would move on and forget about him instead on trying to pursue and relationship with him. there are a lot more fish in the sea.. that are better then him. One of my exs treated me so badly after i did so much for him he did nothing for me. I wanted to be with him and wanted him to like me so badly.. i realized that i was never gonna make him happy and that i should get over him. so i broke up with him and i realize now.. i can do sooo much better!! good luck!

it might be that you feel that you have committment issues or that you feel that you are settling down with one guy and there are a lot more fish in the sea. if you feel this is getting to you then i would take a break and find out what is that something that you need.. or want. maybe talk to your bf and tell him whats going on. good luck and i hope everything works out.

My friends are all really beautiful, bubbly and smart girls, and I am basically an average-looking intellectual who happens to be best friends with them. Whenever I like a guy, he always becomes my friend, and then tells me that he has a crush on one of my best friends and wants me to ask her out for him. Even things like the school play are bad, because I'm always in the chorus and one of my friends will be the lead. maybe you could get some tips from them.. it sucks to be in the shadows believe me i've been there. my friends were the ones that were pretty and got all the guys. one day i finally made a change in my life.. i started wearing make-up different clothes.. and i was much more confident about who i was. most importantly be yourself.. i know this is cliche but someone will come along and like you for you! good luck!

15/M Is it normal for a 15 year old guy to never have had a girlfriend? I have plenty of chances; I'm not desperate or anything. Girls say that I am cute or hot, and I talk to girls regularly. But I don't think that I am ready to have a girlfriend yet because I still act very immature, and I don't think that girls like that. I look phyically mature, but I'm not really emotionally mature. I mean, I don't act like that when I'm with them. Of course I want a girlfriend, but I know that I am not ready for it. Of course... if its not the right time then its not the right time. Whenever your ready for a relationship then go ahead.. but if your not then don't force yourself into getting a girl if you want. To me it sounds as if your boyfriend doesn't know what he wants.. I'm not trying to be mean but he is only 17 so its normal.. i don't think he can say at this time who he wants to marry because he is sooo young. Talk to him and see what he says.. maybe he needs time to think and see what his options are. Let him know though that you will be by his side no matter what. good luck and i hope everything works out!

don't go back with him... getting back with an ex is not a good idea.. take it from experience.. maybe you just feel you need him in your life.. ya know as a friend.. i relaized that my 3rd ex was better as a friend and now we talk and i feel like i caan tell him anything. its better this way i thought i wanted him as a love interest but i don't. and now i realize that i have soo many options in the world.. there are soo many guys that i can hang out with.. don't worry about it.. it takes time to get over someone that you might have shared your first kiss with... its ok! just relax and chill out.. it will be fine in the end! good luck!!

ok.. i know how you feel! My ffriend went out with my crush and it hurt and to tell you the truth seeing them kiss didn't help at all. You might have to give yourself space from them.. do you hang out with them often? Try hanging out with other people get your mind off of them and put it on something better. remember there are a lot more fishes in the ocean.. better ones!! good luck!!
