okay i need help finding out if a guy likes me he tells one of my friends that i am hot and that he was thinking about asking me out but then he starts ignoring me i like him so someone please help

It sounds to me like this guy definetely likes you if he's telling your friend he thinks you're hot and that he's thinking about asking you out!
He may just be ignoring you cause he probably figures your friend has mentioned something, and he might just be embarassed. Also, if he doesn't know that you like him back, he may feel you're not interested in him back, which in this case, start flirting with him ( if you already do, do it more! ) Give him as many signs as you can that'll give him hints that you like him.

Haha this is definetly typical for a guy.
Pretty sure he likes you if he tells your 'friend or 'friends' that you're hot and he's thinking about asking you out.
But if he's ignoring you..
He's just shy around you!
Approach him and try to talk to him.
Don't be straight forward though and don't ask him out because you don't wanna make yourself look desperate..
Just drop hints on him but you should talk to him, because he is probably scared to make a move on you.
