My name is Devin Lindsey or Vinny as my sister calls me! I am 17 years old and go to Bethel Park High school. I loooove swimming along with dancing, singing, and playing softball. I also run varsity track with is alright i supose too.


My favorite colors are orange, pink, and blue. I love to be crazy and have a good time

I've had a job working for 15+ monthes so I can answer alot about that

and I know alot about relationships in general so I can be helpful with that sometimes

especially with parent child relationships


I am a very observant person and tend to know more and care about more than most my age


and I really believe in volunteering to help animals especially at shelters. Usually its not their fault that they have to live their and its usually horrible cercimstances that bring them there and I feel terrible that they can't speak for themselves and people are too caught up in spending like $500 on this cute little pure breed puppy from a breeder just into getting rich instead of giving one of these dogs another chance at life (there are usually a handful of dogs under a year old so the i want a puppy excuse doesn't work with me)

My baby is named Lainey Mae... we got her from a shelter about 2 hours away from us when she was 7 weeks old. she is now 2 years old and the center of our family. unfortunately someone was cruel enough to go down and drug up and shoot (but luckly not kill) most of the dogs plus rob the owner (just like someone did at the shelter where I volunteer) and its now shut down

sorry this is long but im DESPERATE!!! HELP!!!
For a haircut I went to this place. I said I wanted side bangs. but they gave me these weird...THINGS...and i absolutely hate it. they're like springs. like whatever i do to the rest of my hair, it won't work on the bangs. it looks terrible, and when my mom saw it i saw her grimace.

so my question: is it possible to get hair extensions, like you cant tell that they're in your hair? so then i can add them to the bangs so they will be normal hairs again? what salons are they available at??? I WILL RATE ANYONE AND EVERYONE WHO WILL HELP

well almost all hair extensions like make your hairline in the back longer and dont change you bangs at all. what i would do is bobby pin them under the rest of your hair so you cant really see them. or go to a dif hair salon, they can try to fix them for you!

okay so my hair is kinda long just like 3 inched below my shoulders but than it never grows any longer and i want it to be really long like lindsay lohan long. Is there any way without extensions that will make my hair grow long or faster so by next school year i will have amazing hair. i rate xoxo

well if you trim your hair more it accually grows faster. im not sure why but i know thats a fact. try trimming it everyonce and a while and youll see better results. you can get extensions but they wont give you the long lindsay lohan hair. it will make it longer but look really layered

I have to do a community service project for school and I can't think of anything to do. People are already doing the whole nursing home scene; and like donating stuff to charity. Anyone got any clever ideas? Thank kiddos =]

well its sorta normal. you cycle can go anywhere from 28 to 40 days so accually you are getting it 2 often.. but thats b/c your still sorta new to it. if its still like that in a year or 2 i would get worried

Hey. Well, I'm currently in the 8th grade and I will be going on to highschool this upcoming August. Well, not a lot of people are going to my high school-only a few. I was wondering, how do I become social because I tend to be shy at most times, and in highschool, I want to have lots of friends and for people to know that I'm cool, fun, and nice to be around with, since I really am once people get to know me. I am almost 15 years old.My boyfriend is 16 turning 17.I dont get along with either of my parents. Is it normal to want to have a child at this age? I talked to my boyfriend about it he doesnt help to much. He has told me he would do anything i want because he loves me so much. I told him i think i would want to wait till i am 16 at least. Okay this may come off as a very stupid question, but since I was adopted, my birth my mom was really young when she had me.. well 20. And she wasnt married, gah I'm worried that if she had an STD or like ahh something, would I have it? Theres no way I can know, beacuse we dont even have any information about them.. and I'm kinda freaking out now.

but anyways chances are you dont and if she did they would prob let your parents know and they would have prob given her a c section to prevent anything from happening. if you are truely worried ask your parents or see a doctor.. its very rare but there is always a chance

hey guys does is limewire bad for your computer?! im really scared because i just downloaded it and my dad will KILL me if i mess up the comp. should i just download all my songs now and then delete limewire? ahah. and how do i get them to my iPod? thankss

well ive had it for over 3 years and we havent had any problems with it.. it mainly causes viruses only when you download games and stuff but music for the most part is pretty safe.. just if the file ends in .exe (i believe) that means its a virus! dont download it!

Theres a girl at my school i think may have an eating disorder of some kind. Within the last few days she seems to have lost A LOT of weight. She used to be fairly skinny, but now shes like tiny. And this may sound a little odd, but she did have some, i guess you'd say definition, to her body, and now its all like flat. I'm not friends with her, actually, I don't really talk to her, but it concerns me a little. It could be something else, i know, but i was wondering if i should say something to someone about it, or just mind my own business and let her take care of herself.

I'm a junior at a high school with an 11th grade population of 900. I have alot of friends, I'm on the drill team, I know just about everyone. Ever since I started high school I've always had people making things up about me. People I didn't even know.


Things like how big of a slut I am (even though I've only been to 2nd base guys because I'm waiting till marriage), that I'm anorexic (even though I'm 5'4 and weight 115 lbs. -- doesn't sound anorexic to me), that I've done sexual things with other girls (even though almost everyone knows I'm just about a homophobe), and alot of other stupid stuff like that.


All that stuff almost ruined freshman year for me. Then I decided not to care. If whoever is saying those things about me just has nothing better to do with their life then so be it; all I started to do was deny them. I know what's true, my friends know what's true, and so does everyone that actually meets me first.


So I never really gave a shit about any of that. But there's this guy now that I really like and he's the first guy I've really liked in a long time that isn't just because he's hott or other things like that (why I usually go out with guys). Everything was going fine between us, we've been on 4 dates, including Valentines Day. Until today that is.


He called me before 1st period this morning and asked me if I knew a girl named Leann. I said yeah and asked him why. He told me that they were talking about "stuff" and that he had to go. I called him back and told him not to BS me but he still wouldn't tell me what she said.


So later that day I went up to this girl (whom I'm barely an acquaintance to by the way) and asked her what she said to the guy. She looked absolutely shocked when I asked her and said that it was nothing, he wasn't supposed to say anything and that I needed to mind my own business (I'm sorry--I didn't know people talking about me was none of my business). I felt like punching her face in and telling her to grown up but I just walked away.


He hasn't talked to me since our phone conversation and avoided me all at school today. I texted him and told him that if whatever he heard about me changed the way he felt towards me and didn't even bother to ask me about it before he believed it then maybe he isn't the guy I thought he was.


So now I'm not sure what to do. I never thought that these stupid rumors would mess up my guy life. I should make this girls life a living hell (because I totally can) but I won't. What am I supposed to do here??

i would try to go to a counseler... thats all you can really do.. atleast until he talks to you again. you should to try to find out who is starting the rumors... because really if you wanted to they can be percicuted from harrassment

Okay. I'm in love with this guy. I always have been. He doesn't know. He never will. I'm moving in less than a month and I am NOT going to tell him. That's not my question. My family doesnt care if I am starting to do real good in school that i have been coming home every night and that i have been usualy calling them telling them where i am going!

Im not doing anything bad no drugs no alchohal or anything!

My family always puts my down.. my sister came N my room went through everything nd ripped up things she gave me. My dad calls me at a friends yelling at me saying I didnt tell them where I was going BUT I DID.

My dad tells me im still doing drugs nd going out drinking like every day but im not! and how can I be if im usualy always home because they dont let me do anything!

I dont even want to bother talking to them because they always put me down or yell at me and tell me everything thats wrong with me but NEVER anything positive.

My sister wrote on a peice of toilet paper saying "I dont give to people that steal. I DONT feel sorry for you." I Havent even taken anything fomr her in 2 months because I have changed my old bad ways..

well im assuming you used to be like that. its tough to get past i know. like me and my mother have never gotten along and ive tried to change but she still doesnt get it.. you have to give it time.. i mean alot of time.. if you did drugs for lets say a year i would say its going to take atleast that amount of time to get back to normal. you just need to prove to them you are okay.. maybe for a while not go out as much!

I am 13 years old and my mom has a terriable problem with road rage. The other day their were 2 people riding her bumper and the first guy in the white car went on and passed and their was another blue car behind him. Well my mom was trying to miss a pot hole in the side of the road so she got a bit close to the yellow line. When she did the blue car (that must have been chasing the white car) came around her and went in to the grass and almost tore the whole side of my mom's car off. It was so bad that if she hadn't have looked back in her side mirror she would have been destroyed because the person probably didn't have insurance on her car.
So my mom pulled off on the side of the road and gave them the middle finger and pulled off and started going 75 MPH in about 10 seconds and I or her neither had a seat belt on and the road had a few steep curves in it. So I jerked on my seatbelt and she got to about 80 and slowed down. Then a couple of miles down the road they pulled over both the white car and the blue car. So she pulled up right beside the white car on my side and said "You Son of a B*tch you almost made me run off the G.D road!!" then she said "I know who you are! Your __'s boy." and then she called the state police on them and we don't know if they ever picked them up.
But what bothers me is that she didn't know that the man could have had a gun and shot me and her both because they sold and did pills. They could have even burned us out because the boys dad lived right up above us untill he moved. My mom is out of control. This has probably happend more than 5 times in the last 2 months with different people. But not quite as bad. So does anyone know what to do?

just because shes 48 doesnt mean she doesnt have mental problems.. b/c it sure sounds like she does but anyways she should seek some help... i know you want to help her but this really needs a professional. there has to be a logical reason for why she does what she does

Hey! I'm going to Disney World on Friday morning because we don't have school on Friday or the following Monday. We're driving back on Monday. It's a 7-8 hour drive. Well, I found out today that we're having a huge test next Wednesday! Since I'll be in Disney World, I don't know if I'll have time to study a lot, and there is a ton of information for the test (like at least 5 pages typed). What should I do in order to have fun and be prepared?

study on your way down.. or even call your friend from a cell and study for a while. also if you can bring a laptop with like a game on it or something with all the questions you need. of if you must tell your teacher your situation. its kinda hard to give you ideas because i dont know your name or even what your studying
