ok, 4-h is having a camp out of town. my grandma is afraid i'll get homesick. and she doesn't trust everybody. Life is such a drag! She says I can't go unless she is a chaperon. My friends get to go. I told her that they get to go. She says I'm the boss and you're gonna listen to what I say. (i live with her) My friends' dads are chaperones and one's mom is a chaperon. I told her that and she said I'll think about letting you go. I askedmyfriend what were the odds of my grandma(who is 63) of becoming a chaperon. She said 0 out of 10. What do I do? Please don't tell me to wait because i already have waited and asked her about every 5 days. She keeps saying I'll think about it. I know that means no. If you have the odds of her becoming a chaperon or even the chances of me going please tell me even if its stupid. Im desperate! If u nowhat i should do tell me that, too. thanks. :) (link)

Have your grandma meat some of the chaperones that are going. Maybe she'll consider having you go. Be extra helpful around the house and be nice to her. Let her know that you are very responsible and you wont get homesick.

Lately my boyfriend is being very cold to me. He doesn't want to hug or hold me, he barelly calls. I try to be very affectionate with him but it hurts when you get no affection back. He constantly thinks that I am either lying or cheating on him, which I am doing neither. I love him very much and I want things to work out between us but I don't know what else to do to show him I am good to him. What should I do? (link)

Either he comeing up with dumb excuses to get rid of you or he really does beleive that you are cheating on him. All you can do is try to let him know that you really arent cheating on him. Try talking to him about it and ask him who he thinks you are cheating to be with.

I've been trying lately to wear nicer clothes to work; more suits and ties and things of that sort. I think it helps me out in meetings. But I worry about what others may think and wonder if I come across as too ambitious or uppity for the job I'm in, which is a scrub helper fresh out of college. Can suits hurt a career or just help it? (link)

You are a what? Scrub helper? Personaly I have never heard of that. If it is an opropriate job to wear a suit then I guess it should be okay, but if you're working at like a store I wouldnt recomend it. Talk to your boss and see what he thinks.

A week or so ago the guy I like asked me out and I said yes. All well and good. But, a few days later he said that he was still hung up on his ex and only girlfriend. I wasn't that thrilled but I coped and we're still good friends.
This puts me in the situation of spending a lot of time with the guy I like and knowing that he likes me but not being able to do anything about it.
I was thinking of asking him to the 6th form ball but I'm not sure whether I should. (link)

My crush found out that I liked him. I told my friend to tell him and she did (that's how she found out). Well I walked up as she was telling him, so he walked off. I didn't notice, but I pretend tripped him and smiled at him, you know, just to be funny. But he didn't respond at all-just with really icy body language. When I smiled at him, and he just looked down and walked off as if nothing happened--he didn't even make eye contact like he usually would. I know he felt my leg try to trip him, too.
He's found out before, and he always acted this way (distant), except for once, when he was cool with it (normal). But I don't want him to repeat patterns! He's also got a girlfriend who he's on/off with, but I HOOKED THEM UP IN THE FIRST PLACE! (Doh.)
I was about to cry in class when my friend told me that he said, quote, "I'm scared now...". My other friend who asked said she didn't hear him say that, but she said he just grinned.
Well usually while we're on our way to lunch, he says a few words to me then parts ways. Sometimes he purposely does something. Yesterday he faked going the other way, and bumped me and walked like in front of me so we touched. "Oops...uh, I mean this way."
He always goes the same way.
Well...I was wondering...what has happened? Is he intimidated? Does he think all the fun is taken out of the game when I 'surrender' by telling him the truth? Is he just not interested? Is he thinking it over? Is he scared?

I have been dating a guy now for about 2 and a half years. We are both shy and moral people so we haven't done anything but kiss and cuddle together. I think that I love him because when we are close together and when he kisses me I get a feeling like no other (like electricity is running throughout my whole body constantly), but when we are not together and when he is not being loving toward me I feel like I want to end the relationship. We have a lot of differences in our personalities and our likes that constantly get in the way of the relationship, and I am always the one who gives into what he wants. He is a spoiled only child with parents who are close to being rich and I am a mature only child who was taught at a very early age the value of a dollar and my parents are divorced so we don't hve as much money (and my mom is kinda cheap). I am getting really tired of him trying to control me and always getting his way, but everytime I think about breaking up I can't do it because we have been together so long and I think I am ultimately afraid of being single the rest of my life if I don't stay with him. Thats not good. Do you feel like you want to cry when you think about him? If so you should definetley break up with him. You sound like the kind of girl that needs her boyfriend almost all the time. You should find a guy that meats all of your expectations. Dont cut them any slack. If he makes you feel like your not good enough dont date him.

to read it.We'll call my friend Trea (not her name)Ok, now Trea is the kind of girl who always tries to do the right thing. This boy hit me(we're still under age so it's not against the law.) He put a bruise on my arm Friday. So on Tuesday I (i'm a girl) tried to get him back. He is a lot quicker and stronger so when I went to hit him he pushed me downand I have a sint arm. Wednesday, (today) I went after him again because he had pushed me down Tuesday. I didn't expect to have everything happen that did. Trea, tried to stop me because he pushed me down and I scraped my elbow Wednesday. I was going after him again. I told her to leave me alone (I was mad) and not to tell anyone.My other friend told her the same thing. I went after him because my friend held Trea back. She secretly went and told the teacher on meand the boy. I had almost caught up with him and Trea grabbed my shirt from behind. I couldn't get loose because I was hurting and didn't bother to fight back. She took me to the teacher and they kept asking me questions. I answered as many as I could. They asked me why I hadn't told anyone about the fights. I didn't want to because they usually don't do anything. I can't talk to the boy or his friend (I like his friend but that's not the point) because the teachers won't let us. I don't usually cause trouble. This is my first time. here's the story. im a lesbian, but my family has yet to find out. they have no idea and i want to tell them, but i cant. i know theyll still love me, but i know how much of a disappointment that will be for them(my parents). ive made them happy so many ways, and they said theyre proud to have me as their daughter. and they keep talking about when im going to be a mother some day, and how excited they are because they know theyll be grandparents one day, but thats where i know im going to disappoint them. because theyre not going to get to see their grandchildren.. because.. there wont be any. i REALLY dont want to disappoint them, but i know i will once they find out that the family line ends with me (since i dont have brothers or sisters). so i dont know what to do, i dont want to force myself to be straight, but i dont want to let them down also. i really dont know what to do, ive cried over this situation so much because i can picture their disappointment once they find out. Well Ive never said that before. I dont even recall reading an answer like that. But I do know that deep feelings doesnt necessarily mean that you love that person. It just means that you care for them and want them to do wel etc.

I am 14 turning 15 soon and I am an actress, and I went to a world tour audition called The Lion King On Broadway. Well, at the audition my mom and I were in line, and in front of us was this one mother and her son. And the mother showed my mom and I pictures of her son because he did modeling. I remember he kept on starring at me and flirted with me and I thought he was cute as well. But this was 2 years ago. Well this year 2004 I saw the movie Peter Pan. And after the movie my mom and I said to each other, that boy (Jeremy Sumpter, the boy who played Peter Pan) looks vagely familiar...so later I looked him up and it turns out that he was a model. Do you think I really did meet him??? My other question is...well later in the week I kept on dreaming about him and thinking about him, so, I have four of the Sixth Sences so I can communicate to the angels and I made a bet with myself..."if the light goes on then that means I will someday date Jeremy Sumpter if not..." then the light turned on before I finished my sentence which was (if not the light will not turn on). What do you think that ment? Do you think I did met him, and will someday date him??
