Q: I wrote a question about an ear infection before:...

Its not an infection. I got it checked. She could not find it wrong, but what I forgot to say was that .. I dont know what its called, but the sharp pain is more on the bottom of my ear.. Not in the eardrum. I dont know how to explain where it is. but the pain started going away and now its back and hurts still. What should I do? The doctor didn't give me medicnine or anything..

Also, I am kinda of bored all the time! I dont know what to do -- most of the kids in my neighborhood I dont like except for about 2 or 3. Today, especially, I was so bored even though I had a lot of homework, I just slept on the couch from like 12 to 2, and then I just watched TV. And then I played Sims even thjough I was aware of homework. And then it was about 6 so I decided to finally start it. And I am just so so worried about the future in highschool where my grades have to be perfect next year in 9th grade or I will have to retake the class or maybe summerschool? I dont know what happens but dont yo have to get like 100's in every class?! To get in a good college... I am so scared, and I am lazy and bored And I dont want to be fat either because I am not but if I keep up like this, I think I might! HELP

About the ear infection or whatever it is, you should go by a ENT doctor. That's ears, nose and throat. Sounds like it's not your ear....but possibly around your throat area.

The homework thing...well I think you need some devotion. You don't need to be miss smart pants to do well...put forward a few hours to study and do homework and the rest you can reward yourself by watching tv, etc. You can also try to do homework as soon as you reach home and your reward will be takin the evening off!

i've been saving up A LOT of money for years... it's all payed off. i now have about $350 ishh.

i really want to spend it because i've done some thinking and its my decision. but i dont know HOW to spend it. i want to do it wisely and not regret it.

i want to spend some money on clothes. i shop at a&f, hco, & ae but i dont buy the most expensive stuff. =)

and some other random stuff i want

-digital camera (i already have one but its crappy)
-coach purse ($179)
-some other electronic stuff

i already have an ipod and i have a good phone but a sidekick would make texting much easier.

how should i spend my money? i dont kbow what to get! any new electronics that are pretty cheap? ideas are all apreciated.

I think you should get a good camera. All the other things you basically have or it isn't necessary. Plus the clothes your mom or dad can buy for you. So you should invest in a good cam! And if you've got extra you can buy some clothes or something...or save it so you can buy something else nex time!

Q: first of all i get bruises on my legs for no apparent reason.

but there's like one on my knee that's kinda dark, but doesn't actually hurt.

the only question i have is, is there any way to make the bruises go away/heal faster?

like, an ointment, cream, or homemade remedy?

Did you ever go to a doctor for them? I think you should go to one because my mom had some on her legs and when she went to get it checked it was some sort of skin rash or something. You should get it checked because it can be diabetes, allergic reaction, rash or disease.

You could probably use something like cortizone to get it to heal faster if you don't want to go to the doctor.

Q: At what age do teenagers usually get past basic levels of thought and begin thinking more intellectually?What I mean is...when do they start to form their own opinions,have some idea of what they want out of life,and just generally gain a more adult outlook?

It depends on the type of situations they go through and the experience they get. For me, 15/f, I gained it quite early at around 14 because of my struggles in life. I've learnt to cope on my own and handle my finances. Others gain it later in life because they are sheltered by their parents and have no experience in the real world.

So I think that's something the person(teen) has to know for themself.

Q: ok theres this guy i like and im not sure if this girl whos my enemy is still going out with him but i like him and she likes him and he like sits buy me at luch and will talk to me in the halls and plays pranks on me but he flirts with her alot to but when hes around her hes like different to me but at the movies he was out side and he came running up when i came and hes like hey whats up! so does he like me or not i really like him but if he likes my enemy then hes nothing like me? or not and how could i get him to llike me more oh and hes the alaroud nice guy and hes into sports

I don't mean to sound rude...but I think he just likes you as a friend. I mean you said he acts different around her and he flirts with her...so possibly he likes her as a girlfriend...but he likes you as a friend. This is common so don't feel awkward.

You should like get close to a guy and see if he gets jealous...that way you know if he likes you like girlfriend material.

If you want you can be a little flirty with him in order for him to like you. Not too much flirting though because you'll lose his friendship. Just a few little jokes and twrilling of hair strands and stuff.

Most likely they get them from huge craft shops that probably sell wholesale. However if it's a public school they probably get supplies from the government or something. You can probably ask the teacher where they get it.

Q: A few nights ago me and my boyfriend for a little over a year went further sexually and he ending up eating me out.this was something i swore i would never do because i thought of it as repulsive. At first when he was asking i told him no but eventually i gave in.. after we were done i cried. You cried...because although u wanted to do it at that moment (or just gave in)...u didn't want it after. It wasn't something you planned on doing and it wasn't something you wanted but at that moment you gave in because of the vibes and the 'place', the moment too! It's already done and nothing can happen to reverse what's happened...but you can just try to be more demanding when you don't want something to happen. Don't get caught up in the moment...just remember it's your body and your mind!

Q: This is a silly question but I am gettin braces 2moro. And I was wondering, can you still kiss when you have braces? Does it hurt? Thanks in advance.

Q: okay theres this girl in my class. ive known her since this year and shes okay i guess.. oh yeah im 13 and a girl too. im not really friends with her but we sit at the same lunch table so we talk occasionally. i used to think she was okay, until one day she just changed. well it kinda progressed to her changing.. i only see her at lunch and special periods. first in the year we had music and i liked her and we usually partnered together. next was art and we were at diff tables. she sat at a table with alot of the cool popular people.. maybe that affected her? like soon after that its like she was trying to make herself be something.. she just wasnt before. its like she is so fake i hate it. then soon she got a new haircut and she keeps flipping it all the time.. and the way she acts its like too overly nice and shes trying to be cool i think but i'd rather her just be the girl from before. and then she acts all nice and stuff.. like now in homec thats what she does, but at lunch like once i asked if i could borrow a little hand sanitizer and she was all like "no!" and like pretty meanly. it was just a little sanitizer and it was hanging from her bag.. yeah thats pretty sad i couldnt even borrow a little. and like its like shes trying to act like shes superior to other people and would just seem like.. UGHH i dont wanna be around her! but shes in my home ec group and if shes not in our group she will have nobody else so we have to have her!!! DOUBLE ughhhhh. HELP. PLEASE.

um...what's the problem? I don't get the question if there is anyy? Well if u want to avoid her just keep out of her way. You don't have to be friends with her just because she's in your group. The school term's almost over and I'm sure you'll get reassigned to different groups soon.

Q: is there anything you can add to water to flavor it more with out that many calories? oh and that isnt pure sugar?

dont sugest vitamin water cause i used to drink it all the time and i figured out some facts about it, its as bad as drinking soda =/ !!

yeah there's crystal light. It's pretty good and there are small little packs that fix anywhere...and i mean anywhere.

You can also check your local supermarket..there are a few but i'm not sure if there are many calories or not.

Well..this is a tough question. The only way to really know if you like him..is probably that feeling inside where u want to be with him always and stuff. The icky stuff lol...but you're pretty young. When i was your age I had these feelings about boys too...one minute you like them and next minute they're a pest to you. Confusin...confusing. But you just need to spend some time with this guy and..if you don't like him no worries jus be friends!

My boyfriend is 29, we've been dating two years and we're getting married in three months. He has a nine year old daughter in another state. She doesn't know about me. He only visits her once or twice a year because she lives really far away, but he tries to call a lot and always sends money to her mom. I'm just scared because I've read articles about how a lot of kids have a harder time dealing with a parent getting remarried than they do dealing with their parents getting divorced in the first place! What's the right thing to do? I don't want to make her accept me as this new "mom" if she doesn't have to, but I also want to be honest, and I feel like I should get to know her if we're family now. The most important thing is that she's not emotionally traumatized... how can we do that?

well i personally think u shuld go visit her...maybe spend a day with her gettin to know her and her getting to know u. that's the best way...and never turn into the mean step mom..and don't try to be her mom too much. just try to be friends!

Colange....or how ever u spelll it. Men's perfume! lol...or a pen. Your dad's a doctor...u can buy him a specialised pen or something for his office. MY dad's a doctor too...so something for his office or desk, men's perfume...or the pen works fine for me!

Q: I have a Razr v3 and T-Mobile. This morning, it accidentally ran through the wash and it doesn't work anymore. The little circle that shows if it has water damage is red. Will T-Mobile let me get it replaced for a new Razr v3?

well i don't think so. Most phones (if not all) have warranty but it's a manufacturer's defect warranty. Running it through water...whether or not ur fault kinda doesn't include. u shuld still check the warranty type though.

Q: im 14/f right now (almost 15) im in 9th grade. ever since i was about 10/11ish i've been liking alot of guys. in the beginning of last year (when i was 13) i fell really hard for this guy and we were pretty good friends too. i'm trying so hard not to like him (because well i asked him if he liked me and he said he didn't but all of his friends said he liked me but i dont know) anyways, i've never liked anyone else since i fell for him. and i'm even trying to like someone else to forget him but it isnt working. is this normal? what should i do? please any advice on this topic will be very appreciated :]

Sounds like someone has a first love. Trust me...first loves are so hard to forget. the saying is true. I have one (i recently turned 15) and no matter what i do i always think about him. You can't like someone else to try to make him fade because it doesn't work. You just need to slowly get over it. You don't need to have a mantra like "I'll stop loving him" or "I am over him"...you will slowly like other people. It might take a while..for me it took 4 years and it differs with different people. Don't worry...just chill and have fun you'll get over him!

Q: what is a song about being "over it" or like over immatureness or just plain "over it". not related to love, just related to things in general.

I use Limewire. It works with the iPod...most people i know (includin myself) use limewire to download music in order to put on our iPods.

Q: I like to use henna to draw designs on my hands, and it doesn't last too long.
Are there any other options of dyes or whatever that I could use myself, that last longer than henna? Well of course I don't want permanent, but henna washes off too quickly for me.

I don't know anyothers sorry. But I know the longer you keep the henna the longer it lasts. I used it last year. Kept it on for about 2 hours and it stayed on for 2 week or more. Also...a good idea is not to wash your hands for about 12 hours after you've removed it. And not to wash your hands with harsh soaps...that way it'll stay on a bit longer.

Q: I work for a solicitor in a town in Australia. This morning my boss came out to me and another work mate and told us that we may have to start looking for new jobs in the next few weeks.

He told us that he's going to have to close the business because he will be declared bankrupt if he can't do anything about it before the 16th of April!

I don't want to lose my job, I love working here! The girls are great, I like the work, but we are struggling for money every week to pay us!

Is there anyway at all that I could possibly do something to help my boss keep his business going?

I feel so sorry for him, he has no family and his life is dedicated to this place! I just want to help him out.

Raffles are an awesome way of getting money raised. You have to get it certified by the police or something and then you can have a raffle. Like $1.00 a chance and the person can win a television or something very nice and valuable.

You can probably also have a little funraiser like a family day. Those work great also!
