hi! our Promenade will be in 5 months, i really want to be fully prepared for it!.. Luckily, my mom bought me yards of cloth so i can let it be made personally for me. But i don't have a clue on the perfect design for mY body! Please help.. P.S. the color of the cloth is baby pink
1. What is the right color that can be mixed with pink?
2. i am 5'3" in height, medium in body;not too fair - not too dark complexion and a CONCERVATIVE when it comes to fashion but wants to be stylish. Thanks in advance!

you could mix it with a pale to mid brown or a cream/ivory shade, that works well. you could also try a darker shade of pink to brighten things up a bit. don't go 4 another pastel shade e.g. blue.
you have to decide whether you want sleeves - long or short; straps - what style;or strapless - what neckline?
do u want a short dress, knee length, ankle or full length?
as an example my prom dress is beautiful. it is dark blue with a similar shade of glitter sequins all over in subtle flower patterns. it is full length, with a square strapless neckline and corset back. i am 5'4" and small to medium build, but fair skinned
i think detail on the bodice may look nice - try looking at formal websites even bridesmaids for ideas, and see a dressmaker for advice - only someone experienced who sees you will know what will suit you.
some of the monsoon dresses are gorgeous, i would love one! i think you should especially look at the lucia pleated dress, colette ruched dress, clementine dress and jessica organza dress.
