this boy jake and i had a fling almost a year ago. i had met him at an event at church. he is related to my best friend. after a month of the fling happening, i became very busy with volleyball and didnt see him for months. during that time i became involved with another guy and so did jake with another girl. so we both basically gave up. but lately i have realized how this guy actually is the right guy for me. so many things about him make it seem like our relationship would be perfect. including the fact that i know all of his friends, we go to the same church, and all of his family likes me. but currently, he is still with his girlfriend and apparently in love. my best friend tells me almost every day to give up on him and that he doesnt like me, etc. everytime i hear that i get mad and her and i argue about it. she goes on and on about how i should give up, i look stupid, i have no chance and she says shes just looking out for me. but deep down i feel as if there still is some hope. so basically my question is, should i talk to him about it and see what he has to say about how he feels..or what should i do? If I were in your shoes, I would definitely talk to him about it. Realistically though, since he does have a girlfriend it wouldn't be the RIGHT thing to do. I understand exactly how you feel, because I've been in your situation & the best advice I can give to you, is to stay close to him even though he has a girlfriend and if they ever get into arguments or they're not doing so well in their relationship - you can jump in & comfort him. It'll show him that you care and he may eventually come around as a boyfriend. You could tell him how you feel, but he could just tell you that he doesn't want to have a relationship with you because he's with someone else & it might not change anything.
So, keep being close to him & in a few months if he is still with this other chick, then I would bring it up with him. Try & wait as long as possible though, because you could put him in a very awkward situation if you tell him now.
Don't listen to your friend though, if you genuinely feel there's something there, then you're not wasting your own time. You never know what could happen in the future.

I'm not sure what you're asking.
I understand that you care for your girlfriend & want to be there for her through the bad times especially with it being mother's day & her not having a mom around. But, you can't dwell on the negative things & just think about the positive things. The fact that she still has a dad around for her and that she has you as well.
I can understand her being jealous about you going with your friend to church, because all girlfriends can be like that. Does your girlfriend know this friend? Maybe it would be a good idea for them to talk and get to know each other, so they both know each other. Also, so that your girlfriend knows your friend is aware you already have a girlfriend. If they do already know each other, then the only thing you can do is let your girlfriend get over it. It'll take a few weeks for her to stop being mad about it, but after some time she should be OK.
I think your best bet is to write her a letter, like hand-write, not over text messaging or Myspace. Tell her exactly what you told us here. Tell her how much she means to you and don't mention anything about being "emo" because that's just not something you need to include. Also, don't mention you want to kill yourself because that is VERY psychotic & not something she'll want to hear from you. You both have to be positive in a relationship and the fact that you say you want to kill yourself because your girlfriend doesn't have a mother on Mother's day is very abnormal.

No, it's not weird for girls to watch porn or masturbate to porn. Most if not all girls have at least done it once in their lives. I know plenty of my friends who are single masturbate a few times a week to porn, so don't worry it's not weird at all.
Secondly, I don't know if when you have sex with your boyfriend if you or him massage your clit. You could probably orgasm without doing that, but I know that when we started doing that while we were having sex, I was orgasming a lot more. If you are already massaging your clit while having sex, then maybe you both need to just liven up your sex life a little bit by trying new positions & such. I already know Im pregnant. But my first day of my last period was on March 21st? I calculated and it says Im already 7 weeks pregnant! How can I be 7 weeks pregnant if the period I missed was in April, but the first day of my last was in march

It's really confusing, but, a week after your last period you already were 1 week pregnant, even though you may not have concieved yet. Assuming you concieved around April 4th then you would've been 7 weeks yesterday.
The whole week thing is weird. You're already two weeks pregnant before you concieve.

Yeah. It's a high possibility since he's putting it in your butt. I would suggest that if you plan to have butt sex, go in the shower and try your best to just try & clean it out by using your finger. You don't need to get a work permit. I believe that you only have to get a work permit if you're under the age of 16. As long as you're a citizen or permanent resident and have proof of like a social security number you'll be fine.
There's a lot of places that hire 16 year olds. I worked at a few places when I was 16, like Target, CVS, McDonalds (sucked), and local amusement parks.
You're best bet is to go into grocery stores/restaurants that are now hiring, because they're always looking for new people to hire. Also, I would suggest that you start applying this week. Since it's almost summer a lot of people your age are going to look for jobs sometime now & you may have a hard time finding one if you wait too late!!

Most gynos won't perform an ultrasound until 6 or 8 weeks because of the high risk of miscarriage. You could go to your doctor, but I doubt that they will do that.

Yes. I have had sex without experiencing an orgasm. Mainly because I didn't know how to reach an orgasm when I first started having sex, and sometimes it just takes so long that I just think it's not worth it.
I usually don't masturbate prior to having sex, but that's just me. I'm sure there's a few out there that do. Every girl is different!!

My period is 10 days late.
I was normally supposed to have my period on the 17th of April, still today it's the 27th and no luck? I am having a clear discharge almost like my period but when I go to check , no period just the discharge (It does not smell , itch nothing like that ). Also I sleep alot lately, All I want to do is sleep. I haven't had really any morning sickness I do know last night I went to the movies with my boyfriend and was slouching around in the chair in many different positions because my stomache was cramping, I thought maybe if I woke up this morning I would have a period an still no period! I tested on the 3rd and 4th day just incase but had 2 negative hpt test but could have been because I tested to early. I am going to test again today sometime an possibly tommorow morning just to see what kind of result I may have.
I was really interested if anyone has had this same problem prior to being pregnant , I would love to hear your advice.
I am financially stable as well as my boyfriend, engaged an not some 14yr old who didn't use a condom properly, I am here for advice an someone in the same need or someone with advice that would be greatly appreciative :)

When I found out I was pregnant, I didn't really feel the morning sickness much, but I did feel really tired & achey and it was so hard for me to be comfortable just sitting down or laying down. By now you should be able to get a positive pregnancy test, so if I were you I'd test again, if the last time you tested was 5 days ago.
It may not even mean that you're pregnant either, you may have just skipped a period & you may be stressing out about being late so much that it's causing you to feel like you are.
If you test again today and it's positive or negative I would make an appointment to the doctor.

I wouldn't worry about it. Honestly, your periods can differ every month. Sometimes they can last for 5 days, other times they can last 3 days. It just depends on the stress you may be having, or what you're eating & stuff.

You should definitely go to prom with your friend, without a doubt. I know that right now it feels like you'll be sad during slow songs & stuff, but if your friend is fun he'll do his best to try & make you feel better and stuff like that. Trust me, when you actually get to prom and you start dancing and having fun the last thing you'll be thinking about is your ex boyfriend. I know that you might not believe that now, but when you have a break up, the best thing to do is hang out with friends and do fun things to keep your mind off of it.
And, even if you do get a little sad during the slow songs - you won't ruin your friends night. Don't go with your ex boyfriend - he will make the night worse, seriously. Have fun!!

She probably was just really looking forward to it & since you stopped you just made her angry. And since it was your first time and it only lasted like "2 seconds" that's the only reason it didn't feel good, and you both probably weren't properly prepared. It takes a lot of practice and stuff for it to feel good, so yeah. There's really no reason for her to be mad at you, the only reason she is, is because maybe she thinks you don't want to have sex with her or something like that. If you don't want to, then let her know. Just apologize & see what happens.

I have the worst periods! It's terribly heavy. I even use the heaviest products but still end up having to change out every 10 minutes. And my periods last soo long. It's very frustrating because it interferes with so much. Anyways, after talking to my mom about it she made me an appointment tomorrow to see the female doctor at my family dr's office. We're gonna go talk to her about some different types of birth control to hopefully help. Note: I'm only getting bc pills for strictly period purposes only. Not for pregnancy prevention, I'm a virgin.
~~ But I was wondering - is the appointment just full of questions? Or is their an actual exam of your body? I just wanted to know, so I could kind of be prepared. I know if you go to an actual gyno then there's most likely a full exam. But I'm just going to my family doctor to hopefully get a bc perscription or something like that. So I just wanted to know. Maybe if any of you girls have been to your family dr for this, what the appt was like?

That sucks about your periods. Thankfully mine have been regular my entire life & I've never had to worry about them being so heavy. The appointment will more then likely just be the doctor asking you if your sexually active & since you're not, then they won't need to do a physical exam on you. When you turn 18 though, (or if you're already 18) they will advise you to go in for a yearly check-up, which is necessary just to make sure you don't have cervical cancer.
I've gone to get the pill from 3 different doctors & each time, they never made me do a physical exam, they've just prescribed me for it, so don't worry about it! Good luck.

I am trying to get on birth control but my appointment isn't for a few weeks. I had sex last night with my boyfriend with a condom, which did not break. Also, when he came, he came in the condom which was not in me at that moment. I have Emergency Contraceptive at my house just incase...Should I take it to be safe? I agree with Trauma. I really wouldn't be worried at all if I were you. I can understand how nerve racking it can be when you're not on the pill yourself & you're just using condoms, but I wouldn't even bother taking the emergency contraceptive. But if there was anyway whatsoever that the condom could've broke or maybe he didn't use one, then definitely consider the emergency contraceptive.

Dress as if you were going to church. Ha, seriously. My friend worked at a Family Christian store & her mom advised her to just wear a spring dress with some flats. Something that won't make you "stickout" as long as you look like you tried, don't wear like pants unless you plan on wearing like a dressy shirt tucked in and stuff. It's way easier to just wear a dress.
I don't think that a resume is necessary, especially if you've already filled out an application that says where you go to school and stuff. Since this is your first job, there's really no need whatsoever for a resume, and the employer would just be rereading something, which they don't want to do.
I'm assuming they will ask you how you feel about working in a Christian store. Obviously you're going to have to sell their books, so you'll have to have some sort of interest in religion, so just say that you love reading and think that you'd do good advising people on what type of books to get and stuff.
Also people make their first judgment on you, by the first 10 seconds of meeting you. So be sure as soon as you see the manager or whoever will be hiring you to put a big smile on your face and shake hands. And introduce yourself. Be polite and as nervous as you will be, try to stay positive and think that you're going to get the job. It'll calm you down, I promise.

Your body could be changing in the sense of like, growing up wise. Did your aunt tell you that your body was changing or something? Obviously when you grow up your horomones start raging like crazy, which can cause you to be curious when it comes to your vagina. Okay so my periods are regular. I always start on the 1st of every month. Well me and my boyfriend had sex the night before my period was supposed to start but when the next day came I never got it. It's been 3 weeks now and still no period so I am stressing a little bit about being pregnant. No, having sex the day before your period would not stop your period from coming completely. Did he use a condom? Or any protection whatsoever? Because if he didn't then there could be a chance you're pregnant & if so, you should take a pregnancy test to find out.
I would've taken a pregnancy test like 3 weeks ago if I were you. You might just be stressing yourself out so much that your body decided to not have a period this month.
So, take a test - and it'll tell you if you're pregnant or not. That's all you have to do right now.

I live in San Antonio, and whenever my friends & I want to go dancing we always go to the Cowboys Dance Hall. It's so much fun, and everyone dances there otherwise there's really no point in going! There's also the Leon Springs Dance Hall which is close to San Antonio, like right outside of and I've only be there once and it was a lot of fun.
I've been to Gruene dance hall & there's A LOT of old people there that are always dancing, and like people who can actually do like that waltz dance and stuff like that. I think it'd be fun, but if you're looking to see some cute guys ;D then I doubt you will because everyone there is mostly old.
That's all that I know of, but if you google "Dance halls in Houston" or "Dance Halls in Austin" it'll show you a bunch and you'll be able to tell by their website and reviews if it's even worth going! Have fuuuun!

I was unsure what category to put this in, but it's alright. Lol.
So, I purchased a Sidekick 2008 toward the beginning of this year. I never got an internet plan for it because my dad says it's too much money, so I just use it because it has a qwerty pad.
My problem is that when I get a text message, my phone doesn't vibrate to alert me. There is the option to alert 2 minutes, 5 minutes, or 10 minutes after receiving the message, so I have it set on two.
On other forums I have read, they say it won't vibrate when I get texts unless I have the entire internet plan. However, my phone does vibrate when I get a picture message.
I know what they said in the other forums is untrue because my phone used to vibrate when I got text messages until I restarted it because I was on a plane and my phone when crazy.
So, has this ever happened to anyone? & Can anyone help me fix this?
My text message option is already on a vibrating ringtone, so I know that is not the issue. And the sound profile I have allows the vibration because my phone still DOES vibrate for calls and picture messages.

Same thing happened to me! I currently have a Sidekick 2008 but cannot fathom paying that $35 extra dollars on top. Anyways, I was a bit weirded out why it alerted me when I got a voicemail and a new picture message because it wasn't alerting me when I got a text. So, I went into the T-mobile store and talked to several representatives and each one of them told me that it won't alert you unless you have that plan.
I'm not sure why your phone randomly worked and then just stopped working, because it could be something with your phone. But, I suggest you go to a T-mobile store and see what's up. They probably will tell you the same thing that the forums are saying, I just don't know why it worked and then stopped.
