can having sex the day before your period stop your period from coming?

Question Posted Monday April 20 2009, 1:36 pm

Okay so my periods are regular. I always start on the 1st of every month. Well me and my boyfriend had sex the night before my period was supposed to start but when the next day came I never got it. It's been 3 weeks now and still no period so I am stressing a little bit about being pregnant. I'm eating more, my boobs hurt a little and im kinda moody but it could all be in my head or stress. .So I was just wondering if having sex before you start your period can make you skip a month?

having sex before you start your period can cause it to come late but you might want to take a home pregnancy test. i am going to get pregnant so to me it would be a blessing. but anyways you need to take a pregnancy test

No, having sex the day before your period would not stop your period from coming completely. Did he use a condom? Or any protection whatsoever? Because if he didn't then there could be a chance you're pregnant & if so, you should take a pregnancy test to find out.

I would've taken a pregnancy test like 3 weeks ago if I were you. You might just be stressing yourself out so much that your body decided to not have a period this month.

So, take a test - and it'll tell you if you're pregnant or not. That's all you have to do right now.
