I used to like this guy, and I never knew he had a girlfriend. I've liked him since December, and he's shown "signs" of liking me by staring at me and smiling. When I found out he had a girlfriend, I cried a little and thought I'd never like him again. Then, a week later on Saturday night, I talked to him on AIM. We had a lot in common, we like the same movies, show, etc. We stayed up talking until 11:30 at night, he flirted with me (kinda) and I thought the next time I'd see him he'd be comfortable to talk to me at school, but it was just like it used to be. He just would stare at me, constantly. I know his "girlfriend", and it still seems like he likes me too. He's two years older then me, and he considers me as "young". What should I do?

Well to me it sound like he likes you a little and i know he has a girlfriend but still i think he likes you. And him calling you yound was stupid you guys are only 2 years apart but still I think that you should maybe wait a while till he likes i mean it was only laast night give him some time maybe he will warm up to you and alwayz be on the look out for when hes single lol. I think that you should give him some more time

i have a question me and this guy are going out and like his family like his parents like arent the fondest of me like she is holding something against me. see me and this other guy went to prom together and the guy im going out with now is obviously pretty bummed about this so his mom is constantly holding this against me and just wont gimmie a 2nd chance! So i plan on writing her a letter. I need some help on what to say to her. Like explaining why i did go. I went because he proved 2 me it was so important and that he wanted to go with me. Well this guys mom (my bf) is obviously protecting her "little baby boy"... well trying. but i cant tell her why i wanted cuz she'd hate me more. So please help!

Don't write a letter that just might make things worst just leave her alone and soon enought she well let go of the grude she has agiasnt you.

I am constantly insulted by my sister. Before, she would make fun of me, which I would just shrug off, but lately, its been getting to a point where I just feel like there is no point to anything. I cant even cry when she says things to me, I just shut down, and let her go on and on.

Like tonight, I walked into the living room, and she began to swear at me. She said that I am a psycho, and that she cannot wait for me to leave for school (college in the fall) because I am worthless. I have not even said anything to her at all at this point, I really don't know what I did.

What I really dont understand is how she will talk to me one night insultingly, and then the next day she wants me to go shopping with her.

I really dont understand it-if anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it

It sounds like your sister is have some personaly problems. And yes I know where theres some point to what siblings call you names and tease at you and you just forget about it. But it sounds to me like your sister is have personal problems maybe school work a relationship is bothering her. I don't know if you would want to but you might want to aask her whats going on with her. Also when you do go to collage she will probley miss you some and so i suggjest to just try to be firends and not fight back and spend some time with her this summer. hope every thing works out

i love my X but he has a gf now.. we were together for 8 months and i broke up with him and left for vacations. after i came back he asked me back but for some reasons we never hooked up again and fought. he started dating this girl and now they are together. when he was with her he used to call me but i never answer my cel because i was angry at him. about a month ago we saw each other at a party and he was with my best friend the whole party taking about me, he said "i would leave my gf just to be with her, i still love her." and more.. we talked but not much because i was too nervous to face him. we chatted and i asked him if what he had said was true and he said yes after that we didn't speak again, he didn't do anything neither did i. about 3 days ago he saw my best friend in tennis and they talked. she said "i always believed that you and alex would end up together" and he said "me too".. he always has in his nicks about past love and first love quotes like "i would never love the way i loved you" "it's so hard to forget about you" .. in his profile (wich he updates every week" he has "single" in his status. my parents were getting divorced, i was dealing with bulimia and my mom found out and gave me a hard time, i was feeling very low about me at that time but now i want him back. i think i'm losing him because he has on his nickname "now a love story is coming to an end" ..PLEASE advice me because i DO love him but put yourself in my position and tell me exactly what would you do!! remember that putting myself out there IS REALLY HARD.. PLEASE..advice me!!

Aw.. This a really sad story and i would say that you really really really need to talk to him about it sounds to me that he likes you and i think that if you talk to him everything will strighten out you cant expect to have a relationship if you dont talk to each other thats the most important part

Ok I am 16/m and my father recently passed away. He was the only one taking care of me and my little sister, Sarah.(my mother diched us when Sarah was born.) Sarah is only 6 and I've been trying to take care of her and myself but it's not working. We don't have any other relatives that she can go live with and I can't keep taking care of her. My school counselor has been trying to help us anyway he can and he recommended handing her over to the state. He said that it would be easier on the both of us if I did and it would give her a chance at a better life. He said that there a lot of foster families out there who end up adopting the children that they take in. Does anyone know how the "system" works? I mean if I do give her to the state will she be safe or is she better off with me? It's really hard for me to take care of her and I don't feel like I'm a good parental figure. I have a job but it doesn't pay enough to take care of the two of us. So if anyone knows anything about the foster care system or whatever it's called please let me know. I want to make sure that it's safe for her so that I can determine what will be better for her. Thank you.

yes i think that handing her over would give her a better chance at a life but cetrainly not a happier life she would end up being very confused with another family since shes only 6. so if you do hand her over to the state she might have a better life but maybe very sad. and yet again if you do decide to hand her over then you might want to visit her in her new home to make sure she is ok and that would problay make her feel safe and not so sad

I just started tanning and the other day my mom told me to make sure to wear a bra when i go in because its bad if i dont. Is that true? Could i get breat cancer from not wearing one? Or any thing else because i thought that tanning could only give you skin cancer and eye damage.

me and my parents have never got on i was kinda sexual abused by my dad (not going into detail) and my mum never did anything about it i didnt know what was going on as i was young at the time, now its 5 years later i know there was something wrong about it, i have cut my wrist many times and mum and dad know i have tryed to kill myself just endded up on a drip for days my friends and boy friends will do anything for me but i dont feel like its enough at the moment im always gettin into arguments with my dad whenever i say u hav hurt me he like denies it and says he has never touched me (which is complete bulls**t) and he knows it, i want to do anything i can to hurt him to get him abck for the times he has hurt me and all he seems to do is punish me hes really stubborn and wont listen to anything i say at all he just wants to take things away from me and i dont know what to do anymore, going into hospital and cutting my wrist didnt seem to make him think that he was the one hurting me, my mum wont listen to me and whenever i say something to her she goes off crying and my sister does the say i feel like im all allone all the time and dont knwo what to do aymore :'( when id did get a social worker they didnt believe me because my mum dad and sister lied and now i have a counseller all she does is go on my parents side and it p**ses me off!
what can i do????

Hmm well im going to try to answer this as best as i can.. First of all I know its really hard what your going thought and they should totally belive u about that type of stuff. I know its really hard but killing yourself and cuttting is just another way of failing your have a whole life ahead of you cant waste it now.
