just be funny around him. talk to him or something. talk about a subject u both like. find out what he likes (for example, skateboarding) be all like "hey, wanna go to the skatepark this weekend?" to a friend making sure he overhears. Then you could also go up to him and say "hey, do you kno the assinment? there was no one else to ask." and he'd probably reply! haha. you could also, drop your pencil by him and when you go to pick it up, say hi. I'll probably think of more so watch out for more replies from me. lol. welp, hope i helped.
