im the person who asked about the english class. this is a completely different question, but its more serious than the other.
well..today was the first day back to school. my math class on the schedule is algebra 3. when i went to algebra 3 today, i showed my teacher my transcript because thats what we have to do. she saw my previous algebra grades and they were 97's. she asked me why i wasnt in Honors Analysis instead (which is a more advanced class than algebra 3), and i said its cuz i wanted to be in algebra 3. well, she somehow got someone to call my mom to arrange a schedule change from algebra 3 to honors analysis. my mom agreed.
so when i got home from school, my mom told me and i started crying. its because last semester i took an AP class and i was completely overstressed to the point of depression, and i wanted to take a lighter load of classes this semester.
my mom wont change her mind. i dont know what to do..im very upset and emotional because i dont want to go through another long, very difficult semester.
please help. :[
Talk to your previous teacher and tell her why you wanted that class.
Go to a conselour and talk to them. It's not right for someone to call in and arrange a schedule change without talking to you first! It's NOT their decision.
You could always ask for a schedule change because someone put you in a class you didn't ask for. Just because you have good marks doesn't mean it could be a breeze. Say it stresses you out to the point of depression and you should be able to go back to the class you wanted.
You wanted a lighter load so you should be able to get it.

for the most part, i straighten my hair everyday. in the morning before i go to school it looks fine, but then by like 2nd period[which is like 9:15][i do my hair by 8] its starting to get wavy. it wont stay straight for a few hours. is there any way i can fix this? thanks in advance!
yeah, i heard ceramic straighteners work well. Hmm. 'Chi' seems popular. Look for a better straightener online and look at reviews. People usually post 'before/after' pictures and if they did that, you know their hair stayed that way all day..
Do you spray after you straighted it?
Do you use aquanet or pomade as spray?
Those are the best hairsprays to use.
And if that doesn't work, a perm would be good. (Chemically straightened)

why did they cancel shows like hamtaro (on Cartoonnetwork), just for kicks (on Nick), and Made (on MTV)? I liked all three, and I dont get why they cancelled them... if they still show it... well thats weird, cuz I havent seen them in the TV guide thingy recently. except for made, but they havent made (no pun intended) new episodes.
Because it's no longer popular and it's not getting enough views. They want these new shows to take over.
It sucks because I liked all these shows then they replace them with lame ones!

I think it's too young if you can't handle it. Because there's so many problems attached with having sex and getting pregnant. Just be prepared for the worst.
I guess you can ask to go on birth control but i dont know if your mom will take you there to get it.
You should be prepared before it happens. But being 15, is a bit young I suppose.
Just be sure what you are doing and have a backup plan. There's also things to think about.

But, just go birthcontrol if you can. You can always go for the sex reason OR that your cramps hurt so much.
Do what you want though but only if you are ready to! Just because you're in the "heat of the moment" doesn't mean you really HAVE to have sex.

Vendors do want to sell anything so they try making you think you'll look good in it or that you are a certain size when you aren't. They just want money.
And No.
If Mimi was slightly chubby then yes, a vendor could be rude (without realizing it) and say she's a size she isn't.
But if a size 2 went up there.. She wouldn't look anywhere like a size 10 and probably wouldn't say the same thing because of weight/size differences.

If you haven't plucked or done anything to your eyebrows, it will kind of burn when they pull off the strips.

I had bad experience with putting concealer ON or AROUND my zits. It made it worse.
But if you have the money-- Bare Minerals (powder) covers it up really well. You could buy the set or 2 shades of "foundation powder" and a brush to apply it on. It works really well.
It comes off easily with water.
You could always experiment with the make up you have.
But I'm sure you cover your zits .. it's just that you want them to go away and you know it's there.
Just use your foundation. Dab it on with a sponge and spread it around. You could go over twice on your zits. Spread it around evenly, so it's not all cakey. Then apply powder for extra coverage.
But.. Bare Minerals works good!
