(I love the Cover Girl brand ... not sure what it is called but it has a blue cap and its liquid). Then dab a little on the spot you want to conceal. I find that its easier if you let it sit for 1-2 minutes. Then use a sponge, concealer brush, or your finger and blend it. Blending is the most important part because it makes it look natural, and not like you have a circle of makeup covering a zit. :) Then just dust a little transluscent powder over it, blend again, and voila! :) Good luck. But if you have the money-- Bare Minerals (powder) covers it up really well. You could buy the set or 2 shades of "foundation powder" and a brush to apply it on. It works really well.
It comes off easily with water.
You could always experiment with the make up you have.
But I'm sure you cover your zits .. it's just that you want them to go away and you know it's there.
Just use your foundation. Dab it on with a sponge and spread it around. You could go over twice on your zits. Spread it around evenly, so it's not all cakey. Then apply powder for extra coverage.

I guess makeup may conceal blemishes but your best weapon is seeing a family doctor or dermatologist who can put you on prescreption medication that you apply that will keep acne off your skin on a permanent level as it contains medicine were other products cannot and do not. A prescription cream stops the situation from growing or even starting now and in the future. [ solidadvice4teens's advice column | Ask solidadvice4teens A Question ]

rabbitfoot45 answered Tuesday January 2 2007, 10:05 pm: make sure your face is clean, then apply a liquid foundation only on the spot, if you dab rather then rub its much eaiser. then cover your whole face in a powder that matches your skin tone, it will even you out.
They have foundation and powder made just for people with acne that has treatment in it as well, i'm sure you can get it at a local drugstore. (i.e. CVS, Walmart, Target) [ rabbitfoot45's advice column | Ask rabbitfoot45 A Question ]
sugabooga answered Tuesday January 2 2007, 10:01 pm: First apply a non-oil based concealer. such as a M.a.c brand.. then with a brush not your fingers put it over the zit. after that if you want to apply a light powder foundation. you don't want to look like your face is like clay, so try and stay away from putting on layers of liquid foundation. (although i don't use foundations anymore, i use to, but i do dab on a little if i have a bad pimple)

Heres a few tips.
Well, first DONT use concealer! Its not good for acne and will definitely make it worse. And concealer is very light so it will draw more attention to it. Yellow tones are the best and tend to look more like your skin tone.
Okay heres what you should do to cover up acne:
- Put on moisturizer (oil free is good) all overyour face.
- Then use your finger or a bush to cover the acne with foundation. Dont over rub or your zits will just remove all of it.
- Set with yellow-toned poweder on a piece of cotton.
