Well I really need a base tan before i go to Hawaii (i live in Alberta, Canada) so i don't get alot of sun. So i'm gunna go to a booth how long will it take for me to get just a base tan? I'm really white haha like pale so how many min's should i get?

i work at a tanning salon. so.. i might be able to help=]. alright. well you do not want to totally FRY yourself so start tanning a month or two before you go to Hawaii. when you first start to tan, only tan you first time for maybe seven minutes, depending on the wattage of the bulbs and the level of the bed. and slowly go up in time!=]. dont forget to use a lotion that always boosts color!

ok. so me and my mom fight non-stop. screaming yelling crying. the usual. its weird because we used to be really close and would always go shopping and crap and i would tell her everything yatta yatta. well i really want to be her "friend" er w/e. i mean not like besties but id like to at least have a positive relationship. seriously. usually, like as of right now, i hate her guts. with a strong passion. she ruins my life.
does anyone know anything i can say to her that lets her know i need her? this sound really cheesey i know. but its like ruining my life not to have a positive relationship. i mean. i get grounded for the f-ing retaredest things (if thats even a word..) and because of her i wont be able to spend this coming weekend with my boyfirend. anything.. please. this is serious. i hate my life. and its all because of her. i honestly wish my parents would divorce just so i wouldnt see her as much. but the only thing is she says that if my parents were to divorce (for the like 3rd time) she wouldnt let me live with my dad. yeah right. i would refuse to live with my mom.

if it makes a difference, she has cronic depression and doesnt always take her medications (which pisses me off). so shes always bitchy. my dad agrees with me that sometimes she goes over the top.

me and my mom also fight a lot.. and i can relate to the depression medication issue because my moms on them as well. but honestly you need to walk away when your mom says stupid stuff. its hard, but dont mouth off. and try and go out to lunch with her and talk to her about how you feel about all the fighting.. and be honest but not mean..

Because they are just like any underwear just different in the butt area, I mean, I've heard about getting yeast infections from the, but me and all my friends wear thongs and it has not happened to any of us. I really like this guy and have for going on 2 years now. We've known each other for a while but we didn't really get to be friends until 3 years ago. He was in the hospital and I and another friend of ours went to visit him, but he was in surgery so we just left a note and our present for him with the nurse. Today my friend Lisa told me that when she saw him this afternoon, he told her he was glad he was in surgery when we came. Am I wrong to be completely offended by that?

Sadly no there isn't. But to be honest with you I wear a size 5 and sometimes I wish I had bigger feet because a lot of the womans sport shoe brands like pumas and such start with like size 6 and all.. You always want what you can't have...

How do you get rid of stress? Actually I don't think stress is a word to call it because it is much more negative and deeper than stress but it's not anger. I think it's more like drama like in dramas are really strong and deep like the feeling in soap operas kinda and I just get so 'drama'/depressed in my mind that I cry every night and just feel really bad inside all the time. And i'm really ugly and stuff so it keeps bringing me down to help myself feel better. I just keep thinking so negative all the time.

hi, I'm a female and I just have terrible hair! You know in the movie Princess Diaries? My hair is 2 times worse then that, literally! This is the 6th time that I got my hair chemically straighten and to my dissapointment, again, it didn't work. And my friends told me why should I even bother which really hurts my feelings. Alright you want to know something.. Get a Chi straightening hands down. Expensive.. Yeah, but by far worth it. I just have lightly wavy hair, but I use a Chi because it gets hot in literally 5 seconds. When I say hot I mean really hot.
Or try a relaxer.

any advice will make me happy:)
First apply a non-oil based concealer. such as a M.a.c brand.. then with a brush not your fingers put it over the zit. after that if you want to apply a light powder foundation. you don't want to look like your face is like clay, so try and stay away from putting on layers of liquid foundation. (although i don't use foundations anymore, i use to, but i do dab on a little if i have a bad pimple)

I have acne on mostly on my forehead but a little on the rest of my face. It is so annoying and I would be so much prettier without it so I would really like it to clear up. My skin peels when I use too much acne medication, its peeling a little now. What do I use so that my skin will pretty much immediately or soon stop peeling and what really helps acne without drying my face? Thanks for any help.
The best thing I could tell you is try to stop touching your face, because the oil from your hands just make a pimple worse. But for the peeling issue you should try and use a lotion that is dermatologist approved for faces which should help the peeling go away.
