skin problems

Question Posted Tuesday January 2 2007, 8:02 pm

I have acne on mostly on my forehead but a little on the rest of my face. It is so annoying and I would be so much prettier without it so I would really like it to clear up. My skin peels when I use too much acne medication, its peeling a little now. What do I use so that my skin will pretty much immediately or soon stop peeling and what really helps acne without drying my face? Thanks for any help.

about three months ago i could've very easily been asking this question. but i got so sick of trying to get it to clear up, and so i had my mom schedule a drematologist appointment. they will know exactly what to do for you. normally they give you some sort of pill and a cream or gel. it seems sort of embarrassing to have to go, but it honestly will help your skin so much.

After you use your acne cream, put on a lotion that is made for dry skin it should help. That happened to my friend. Now she outs cream on after she uses hers and shes okay. Im not sure what kind but just do tothe store and look for like a dry skin cream or something

The best thing I could tell you is try to stop touching your face, because the oil from your hands just make a pimple worse. But for the peeling issue you should try and use a lotion that is dermatologist approved for faces which should help the peeling go away.

make sure that whatever acne product you are using, to use an additional moisturizer with it. i personally use Olay beauty fluid. it is really good because it is oil free, won't clog your pores and it soaks in quickly. also make sure that if you are using a toner/astringent that it isn't too overpowering for your skin.

if you are looking for a good acne product try proativ. i know you have probably heard of this and know that it is a little iffy. but i currently use it and i like it. nothing is a miracle worker that will clear up your skin in two days, but proactiv works really well. if you are looking for something cheaper, then go to your local drugstore and buy a product that contains about 5% or 6% of benxoyl peroxide. DO NOT use a product that contains 10% benzoyl peroxide. this will be too drying for your skin.

good luck =]
