hi i was wondering if its necessary to learn 6 string guitar before starting on bass guitar?
like i already know basic stuff like plucking and a few chords?
what do you think?
I'm not a musician, but my brother and his friends are. My brothers friend plays bass, but he did play regular guitar before that. I don't think it really matters, cause you'll have to learn everything on the bass, anyway. But I'm sure knowing how to play the guitar will make learning how to play the bass easier. I hope that makes sense.

so i have this "friend" let's say well call her 1
1 came over the other day & we we're on myspace and she was friends with this girl named kt & i've seen her myspace before & i thought she was pretty blahh blahh. couple weeks later she gets like a "make-over" or whatever the fuck she wants to call it, & she look's like a TOTALLY different person, like not even the same person.. and i know how to read comments and stuff nd her comment are hidden so i loook at her comments & she only has 192 and she's had a myspace since september 2006 & all her comments are about whoring.. so i know for a she is fake, and 1 was totally agreeing with me on it. so then i confronted "2" [ we'll call the "fake" 2 ] about her being fake .. and this is the conversation:

Okay, well I don't have a picture of your hair, so I can't agree or disagree with your dad. I'm sure he was just kidding, and said that to tease yo. If you think your hair looks good, then it probably does. If you're not sure, ask your friends what they think. But it shouldn't matter to you what other people think, as long as you are comfortable with it.

My face is beginning to break out and school starts Monday! My mom is getting me a dermatologist appointment but I doubt I can get it until after school starts that week. I really don't want to have acne on the first day at a new school. I just moved here so I don't know anyone and I wan't to have clear skin the first day.
Any tips? Will not wearing makeup for a few days help at all? Oh and my skin is reallllly sensitive if that helps any...
Don't touch your face or pick at any of the pimples. Wash you face twice a day.
If you want to clear up some pimples REALLY quickly, try putting a dab of toothpaste mixed with lemon juice on it. (weird combination, but it works WONDERS =]) OR you could put a little rubbing alcohol on it. but if you do that, be careful. It could dry the skin out too much, and make your skin produce more oils.

Well I just got bangs and when I lift them up, I see that my skin is all red, like REALLY red!
Why is that? i don't put anything in my hair like gel or hair spray at all.
And today i got some pimples on my head too plus the first problem of a full red forehead.

You're getting pimples from the oils from your hair. I agree with the person below me- clip your bangs back for a little while. Wash your forehead with a mild soap.

You have to go to New York City. Its my favorite place ever! The US has other beautiful places: the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas(its really cool, but there are about a MILLION casinos...)
I guess it really depends on what you're into. If you like outdoorsy stuff, I'd suggest going to Northeast US. (Maine Vermont...)

i know for some people you can say theyre parents are strict. but you really have no idea until you hear about myne.im about to be 16 years old and my mom doesnt let me do almost anyyyythiiinnnggg.
i cant leave my house to go to the mall , i cant go to my friends house, i cant take a walk. and when im bored she tells me to find something to do. well all i can do is watch tv or eat, haha or my favorite do choress [[not]].
it gets on my nerves and she tells me everything i do is wrong.
which i barely do anything at all becausee im in the house all day. im in colombia away from her 3 weeks and she sais im spending my birthday here and i cant do anything over there.

If you can't go to your friends houses, bring your friends to your house. Show your mom that you are responsible. When you ask her if you can do something, ask nicely. Don't start arguing with her is she tells you "no".
There might be something going through your moms head that maybe shes losing her little girl. Haha i know, its kind of weird. But don't argue with her. I know this sounds bad, but ask your mom to take you and your friend to the mall. Then ask her if you and your friend can go look around by yourselves, and you'll be back in 20 minutes. ( I know, that sounds like a pain, but if you show her that you can be responsible she'll cool off)

Ok, for the last couple of days i have not been able to sleep for at least an hour+! Which is so weird because i normally go to sleep pretty quickly. like 15 min. Duirng school i got to sleep in like a min. because i have to wake up at 5:30am and do so much and stay up late w/homework but since i still have a week or summer i don't want to waste it trying to sleep! then sleeping in late! could it be because im worried about something? probably school! :P If anyone has any suggestions to help me fall asleep quick that would be soo helpful! Okay, well yo want to go to bed early to wake up early. Try not to drink too much caffeine after lunch. Before bed, do something relaxing: take a bubble bath, read, listen to music, anything along those lines. If this still doesn't help, there are different kinds of teas that help people fall asleep

I had the same problem with an english teacher. She treated our class like we were a bunch of pre schoolers. We decided the best thing to do was to talk to her and tell her that we didnt feel challenged and her class was too easy. But we told her nicely...We also thought it would be a good idea to talk to the principal to get him to talk to her. It really helped.

I've tried a few expensive ones and many cheaper ones and I just can't seem to find one that makes your lashes both long and full. okay so my boyfriend is only a year older but a year is a lot with us because im going into seventh grade and he is going into eighth. Okay, so this is really last minute question asking, but anything would do...
So, has anyone been to the Ka show and Oh show in Las Vegas?
If so, what are you suppose to wear? & are you allowed to take a little backpack thing in there or do they no let you for picture/video taking reasons? Because our family's gonna be walking around all day then going to the shows & my mom wants me to wear something other than jeans aka dress nicely. & so, yeah. What are you suppose to wear and are you allowed to take your backpack in there?
I'm not really sure what youre supposed to wear, but I'd wear a nice shirt and a skirt, porabably a jean one [I never usually get too dressed up :)] But about your backpack, they would probably let you bring it in, they might check it or whatever, because people always bring like purses or bags. So if your afraid that they might not let you bring your backpack in, just carry a purse.
