Just a thought - try contacting Camps International. They organise trips abroad in conjunction with schools for about a month at a time. It might suit you to try and arrange a trip to Kenya or somewhere else like that to give you a taster.

Their address is: Camps International
229 Ringwood Road
St Leonards
Ringwood
Dorset
BH24 2SD

Tel No: 01202 872817

They organise everything and you arrange fundraising. It is totally safe - my daughter went a few years ago and she had the time of her life. Ask them to send your school an information pack.

Please take my advice and visit Baku, Azerbaijan. My entire family is from there and I've seen so many pictures. The culture is so amazing and the food is really good. Google some pictures on it, and you'll see what I mean. I went there when I was only 8 months old, so obviously I don't remember anything. They speak Russian and Azerbaijani there. Trust me, you'll love it, if you decide to go. It's a small country, bordering Russia. They have nightclubs there too..

Oil is a very big deal there.

The people there are so down to earth (my parents tell me lots of stories, lol), and everyone is so nice. Even strangers would offer you food to try, and treat you like family.

Take it into consideration.

I've only been to three countries. I live in America, so there's country number one. I went to Canada when I was like 5, and I don't remember much about it, and I went to Puerto Rico last June [of 06].

Puerto Rico is a REALLY beautiful place to go to. If you go to places like Ponce and Guayama, finding someone who speaks English is going to be hard, so it's better that you go to San Juan since it's the capital & the biggest tourist spot, anyways. It's really nice there. The weather's great, the water & beaches are clean, & some people are nice. Just the girls - they can be super stuck up sometimes. I'm telling you that from my cousin's experience.

I'd like to go to a lot of places when I get older, and hopefully I'll have the money to do so, but I'll give you a list of countries I'd like to visit:

- England [I've always wanted to go there, and yes, I realize you're from there, so ignore this slashy thing].
- Italy.
- Japan.
- Australia.
- Chile.
- France.
- Germany.
- Romania.
- Russia.
- Ukraine.
- Thailand.
- Korea.
- The Phillipines.
- Hawaii [It's a US state, but I'd still like to go, haha].
- Bahamas.
- Barbados.
- Jamaica.
- Dominican Republic.
- Haiti.
- St. Vincent & The Grenadines.
- Vietnam.
- Greece.
- Ireland.
- Norway.
- Poland.
- Sweden.
- Switzerland.
- Madagascar.
- Mali.
- Uganda.
- Niger.

I realize that some of the countries I listed have wars going on & have really bad governmental problems, but I'd really like to visit. Some people I know are from these countries, so I'd like to check out their heritage & whatnot. Some of those places might interest you, and some might not, but that's cool. Have fun traveling when you do decide to go, haha. =)

You have to go to New York City. Its my favorite place ever! The US has other beautiful places: the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas(its really cool, but there are about a MILLION casinos...)
I guess it really depends on what you're into. If you like outdoorsy stuff, I'd suggest going to Northeast US. (Maine Vermont...)
Hope this helps.
