As long as you like it then I would keep it. Who cares what other people think. Don't change for other people only for yourself. (I'm sure your dad was kidding. If you don't believe me ask him himself.)

Okay.
Dad's have very bad sense in style.
My dad was helping me shop for a winter jacket
he picked this like eskimo coat that went down to my knees and it was like a crap-brown. So ugly.

You're dad was probably kidding, remember your mother, sister, or friends have better taste then men do. Don't worry.

Okay, well I don't have a picture of your hair, so I can't agree or disagree with your dad. I'm sure he was just kidding, and said that to tease yo. If you think your hair looks good, then it probably does. If you're not sure, ask your friends what they think. But it shouldn't matter to you what other people think, as long as you are comfortable with it.

Don't mind your dad. Sometimes parents have a hard time seeing things eye to eye with their kids, especially when it comes to something like a hairstyle. it's all about personal taste! EVERYONE may not love it as much as you...but if you like it, thats all that should matter!
