bass guitar
hi i was wondering if its necessary to learn 6 string guitar before starting on bass guitar?
like i already know basic stuff like plucking and a few chords?
what do you think?

no the bass guitar is playing the rythem of the song all that u need to do is hold a fret and strum its not hard the bass isnt hard the 6 string is hard to learn because of the fact u have to learn chords i play 6-string,bass,and the drums i noe for a fact tht the bass is easire thean the 6-string so anyways you do not need to learn how to play the six string

I'm not a musician, but my brother and his friends are. My brothers friend plays bass, but he did play regular guitar before that. I don't think it really matters, cause you'll have to learn everything on the bass, anyway. But I'm sure knowing how to play the guitar will make learning how to play the bass easier. I hope that makes sense.
