My husband and I have been together for four years. I was afraid at first and I just did not know what to do with my self. My self confidence is not so good and I was always making him feel as if he was not important in my life just because of the way I felt. I really love him and I want to truely spend the rest of my life with him except he is in Puerto Rico and I am in New York. YEs, I left again. Now he wants nothing to do with me. We have two wonderful little girls together and he has two older daughters that adore me. He is 6 years older and I thought that he was the problem, but my insecurity was. What can I do? I want to be with him and he says that he does not want to be with me.

Cami2727 answered Wednesday September 23 2009, 7:28 pm: The best thing to do is to have a calm and quiet talk with him about how you've been feeling over the years. Get him to go out to dinner or something with you. Remind him why he fell for you in the first place. Take a moment to spend some quality time with him. Tell him the truth. Don't hold back. Try not to cry because the one thing men hate is crying women. So be calm and just call him and tell him you want to get together just to talk. It has nothing to do with the kids. Its just an old fashioned date. Keep it simple. If he takes you back be sure to do the right thing and stick it out. When hard times come you're gonna need each other. This is just another mountain God is waiting for you both to climb together!! In success!! I hope I've been helpful!!! Good Luck!! [ Cami2727's advice column | Ask Cami2727 A Question ]
