Ok, my best friend is a guy. I heard from my friend that he has a girlfriend, but he told me he doesn't. I don't know who to believe, and I really wanna believe the guy because I really like him. Let's call him...*Jake* and let's call the girl...*Mary*. So Mary, Jake, and I are all best friends. Mary has been lying to me a lot lately. She's also been trying to steal my guys. Jake and I hang out all the time, and he and I always tell each other "I love you Jake!" and "I love you...*Anne*!" but we both know we're joking. And we're like "wow, you're so hot tonight" and all these random things as if we were going out, but we're not. He and I constantly flirt. When my friends ask him why they won't ask me out (i don't ask them to do this!!) he says he and I are just like the bestbestbestbestbestbest friends in the universe. I know that's true, (the best... friends part) but I don't know how to get it out of him whether he really does like me or not. What should I do? We have all these inside jokes about "loving each other" and "last night was great" (like i said...inside joke...i've never done it or anything) and all these other things. We always give each other hugs and sit on each others laps and I really want to be an item. We will go to the same school next year, but we don't now. WHAT SHOULD I DO????? Please help I rate! i think that you should talk to him about whether he likes you or not. if he's your best friend, i'm sure he'll be honest with you. so just talk to him about it and tell him that you NEED him to be honest....and if he says he does...well, there ya go. then you can talk to him about maybe getting into a relationship.

absolutely! personality can SO be the only reason for liking the guy. its very common. looks don't matter at all, so thats great that your only attracted to the personality. looks can sometimes make the person stand out, but that doesn't have to be the reason for liking him.

I really like this boy and he says that he really likes me, however he has a girlfriend and doesn't want to hurt her by dumping her. He is always with me and he tells me that he cares and wants to be with me, but I don't want to get hurt. It hurts me enough to know that he has a girlfriend, I have never loved like this before. Everytime he kisses me I seem to melt. I want him so badly, but what about his gf. he is afraid and so am I? (link)

you should talk to him about who he really wants to be with. honestly. he needs to be with one person....and you need to know who it is. and so does he.

well heres the deal, my parents have been divorced since a was like 3 (im 13 now). ive always lived with my mom and my dad lives over 300 miles away. i can only see my dad every-other weekend and i really don't like that. i miss my dad a lot when im not over there and im thinking about maybe moving over to his house. but i don't want to hurt my mom's feelings or leave all my friends here (but i don't think that making new friends will be a problem). ive also been having lots of problems with my mom lately...
what do you think i should do?

talk to your parents. maybe you could see if you could see your dad a little bit more often. or maybe just switch schedules. ya know, live with your dad, see you mom every other weekend. and after thats figured out, i'd probably try to sort the problems out with your mom. hope i've helped!

think for a sec. how well do you really know this hot guy? if you don't really know him, then you could just be taken by his looks. some guys can do that. if he's a friend, think about how close you are to him and if you've been feelin' different around him. hope i've helped!

Today I found out that my boyfriend may be moving away. There is still a chance that he will be staying but if he does move, I don't know how I am going to cope. It would be very hard to visit him as I am too drive so I would only get to see him once every month or so, probably not even that. If he does move, how do I cope? Is it worth carrying on the relationship or should I just end things? Thank you. (link)

okay im 14/f...and ive been best friends with this guy for 3 years and hes been in love with me for 3 years, we've never done anything sexually er w/e..but hes been wait'n on me fer 3 years and ive had like 5 er 6 boyfriends in the last 3 years but he still stuck with me...soo i went out with this one guy over the summer and at the beggining of the school year for 3 months and i broke up with him and my best friend was rly sad b/c i went out with him..and it never rly bothered him before but then when me and this guy broke up my best friend caught us in the hallway makin out and that lead him to cutting...witch i got him to stop that now but i felt rly bad...but now i dont like my ex-boyfriend and ive ALWAYS had feelings for my best friend but i never realized how strong they were this past like month....and i mean hes always loved me and hes always been there for me so i dont know if i should go out with him or just be friends...b/c i mean we do everything together and wherever you find him youll find me and wherever you find me youll find him...so i rly dont know what to do b/c my ex-boyfriend is still in love with me and i dont know b/c i dont wanna hurt him by goin out with my best friend er w/e so what do you think i should do? should i hook up with my best friend? i think you should go with your best friend. if he loves you as much as you said and you have strong feelings for him, then it would work. i mean, i know you probably had a great relationship with your ex, but i bet your friend knows you and gets you more than your ex. he sounds like the type of friend who knows your deepest secrets and stuff like that. and if your ready to take it to the next level, you should do it. cuz i think it'll be a really and healthy relationship. hope i've helped!

Well, My parents bicker and fight about things that they shouldn't. My dad is being a real prick and my step mom ends up in tears. It pisses me off why he has to be a real ass, but I am always told to "mind my own business" or to "shut-up". I get very stressed out and I hate it! It pisses me the F*** off and I have no say in anything that goes on. So, this is the part where you throw advice my way :-/ (link)

your best bet would probably be to talk to a close family member, like an uncle, aunt or grandparent. they'll probably have more power over your parents. and maybe you could try and be there while your family member talks to them. then you might have a better chance of letting them know your feelings. hope i've helped!
