hey im a guy, 13, and i was wondering if 5 inches is a good size when its erected. also it takes quite a while to be its biggest size.

6 inches is average and since you are ONLY 13, you have nothing to worry about. You've got more time to grow! However, if you get to be 18+ and it's still 5 inches..I'd be worried. lol

How much does it cost to permanently straighten hair? My wavy hair straightens pretty easily with a hair straightener, if that helps. Also it is about half way down my back, but I am willing to cut a little past my shoulders if it will lower the price a little. Will that help?

I have a full head of long curly hair. It doesnt look stick straight when I do it with JUST a straightener so I decided to get the relaxer put on my hair. My hair stylist only charged me about $100 to $150 to get it permanently straightened. I had highlighted my hair prior to getting it done and it still did NOT damage my hair. It actually made it a whole lot smoother and soft. The only downside is that once new hair grows in, you have to get it touched up. Just like you would if you had brown hair and dyed it blonde, so it's not that hard to keep it up. I still had to use the straightener afterwards but I didnt have to have the heat up so high to get my hair perfectly straight. I loved getting a permanent relaxer..I loved it soo much that I'm going to get get it done again in a few days! :) I don't know what the person below me is talking about, but trust me, a permanent hair straightener (relaxer) is WELL worth it. :)

i am thinking about getting my naval pierced and my mom has agreed to letting as long as the place is clean. but i was just wondering, do guys like it when girls get it pierced? are there like a group of guys who think it is disgusting? is there some poll thing i can look at of what guys like the piercing or not? thanks.

In my opinion..if you are going to get it done to please guys, then don't. You'll regret it in the long run. If you truly wanted it because YOU want it...you wouldn't care what guys think. Or anyone for that matter.

I don't know of anything that might help you. And by the sounds of it, you've already done an extensive search. Since you can't find any, maybe you could make up your own. Find one PRETTY close to what you want and then take ideas from it to create your own.

I just got a nose job, and was told to be careful of direct sunlight for several weeks after the surgery. I am going out of the country in about a week and a half, and it's going to be really hot. I bought a little umbrella and some spf 45 sunblock as a precaution...
but anyway, my first question is, after about a month after surgery, is it safe to go out in the sun provided I constantly wear sunblock? Is it better to also carry around an umbrella? And last thing, after how long is it safe to have direct sun contact?
And another thing (2): after how long should the bruising subside?
If it matters, I 'm 22 F.

Well, I have NO idea, I've never had a nosejob. Maybe this is something you should ask your doctor. He/she is the only one who can really give you answers. Think about it, I doubt many people on this site have had nose jobs. Or know anything about them. I could be wrong, maybe there is someone who knows. But if it were me, I would want to know from my doctor because I couldn't risk taking someone else's advice and then have something go horribly wrong and then have to get further surgeries to correct it. Just a suggestion.

Sorry i dunno what topic this is but i was wondering when you get your cell phone bill by mail do they also give you the record of all the incoming calls and the calls you made? And if you pay the cell phone bill online instead do they also give you a record of all your calls? Thanks in advance =]

I'm not sure about online. But I have verizon and we get our bill in the mail and yes it lists the number (and location of that number) and how long you talked. Incoming and Outgoing as well.

congratulations!!!! I went vegetarian as well! I eat SOY products now until I can get into full swing with vegetables. Morning Star is a very good brand to try. They make soy products. Soy is a bean so it is totally vegetarian. I have fallen in LOVE with their soy nuggets. They look just like chicken nuggets, even sort of taste like them, only they are made of soy and 100% vegetarian. They also have a vegetarian bacon for breakfast. Those are delicious as well. They also make soy burgers and even soy chicken patties, soy sausage, soy hot dogs, you name it they've got it! I prefer their soy burgers over boca's any day. You can find them in Walmart (frozen food section) and Food Lion. I'm sure they are in other places as well, but those are the 2 places I have luck with. If you need any further assistance, let me know!

Since summer is about to start, I want to get rid of the hair on my arms. I usually wax them- which is highly painful, but I've been looking into possibly using something like nair. I was just wondering if those ACTUALLY worked well. I have pretty dark hair on light skin. Does nair work? or do you have any other suggestions for getting rid of hair less painfully...I know any method is gonna be somewhat painful...and have it last for a long time?

Mmm to be honest...Nair is a PAIN IN THE ARSE. I use it on my legs and I think its alright, but the hair grows back fairly quickly. And it comes back darker and thicker..so if you want to nair your arms every so often, go for it. But there is a much less painful option. Now, I'm not sure how fast arm hair grows but I know that I have never shaved mine and it doesn't look out of control. So, hair bleaching. Lots of girls do it, ESPECIALLY to their arms because shaving and nair can get ugly, quick. I think you can buy hair bleach at walmart (same section you find nair in). Or if the thought of doing it yourself scares you..and you have hair on your arms like mine (mentioned earlier) you can spend a few extra bucks and get a salon to do it. It doesn't hurt you (unless you leave it on too long i guess, but that can happen with nair) and it makes the hairs blonde so you cant really see them. And since your skin is light..it shouldnt look weird. But if you just cant do it, nair works fine. It's just alot of hassle is all. Nair doesn't hurt and as far as I know, neither does hair bleaching. Nair lasts about as long as shaving, and you have to wait a bit for it to grow out long enough to be dissolved. Hair bleaching I would assume lasts as long as you have the hair on your body and since arm hair doesnt grow too quickly, it should last you a long time. However, over bleaching can be a problem. Especially if you get a tan. Then the bleach blonde hairs on your arms might become noticable as your arms darken. So it's up to you. Just to let you know, I've never bleached any hair on my body so I can't promise that everything I said is true. I don't know why it wouldn't be. i was talkin to my boyfriend one day on aim and he said he was gonna hack into my computer and i was like um no and he was like why not you have nothing to hide right? well he did it anyway and i know he did because he then proceeded to read me a myspace msg from some guy [i had just met him and he lives on the opposite side of the country so it was just a random msg] and was askin me about it like testin me and sayin i think this guy likes you and all this crap [he said i was cool. thats it] and i was like no how can he i dont even know him?! and he said so youre sayin he didnt say he likes you? and i was like no? and he said dont lie to me. i eventually got him to quit and he swore he wont do it again but i told him that makes me feel invaded and he was like well you have nothing to hide right? and i was like thats not the point! ugh so now i dont know what to do bc i feel i cant do anything on here cuz he'll hack into it. he always says he trusts me and ive never given him a reason not to its not like he was suspicious of me cheatin or anything, so he had no reason to do it! also anytime i say im msging or talkin to or goin out with one of my friends he asks who over and over again until i give him a name [he doesnt even know my friends personally except for 2]. ugh i hate it! i hate sharing so much info. but if i dont tell him he gets irritated with me and holds it against me. i dont know what my question is but helpp?? 16-f hes 17-m.

He sounds like the type of guy who is controling. He's very jealous and seems almost psychotic. okay so who cares if people at school notice? if you like it and think you look hot...who cares how drastic it was? i dont think anyone is going to make THAT big of a deal out of your eyebrows, I think the most they would say is you look different or you look great! now...what the procedure is may depend on where you go, but for the most part you go in, if they are courteous they will ask what you want done. You can get the stray hairs waxed off or you can get them pencil thin or anything! When I got mine done for the first time, I simply said I wanted them arched. but I would specify that you want it to be subtle but you want them arched. I eventually stopped going because they didnt make them skinny enough so now I do my own but thats not important :) Hope I helped!

Well if that is all that is coming out is black then i would be worried, but i've had moments where i'll wipe or something (esp. in the shower) and there will be a big black clot. Its just a small clot of blood. I've never had a big problem with it and it doesnt seem like you do so I'm sure your fine. If you are really worried tho, then seek professional help and ask your doctor (female doctor preferrably, guys are not right for this stuff lol)

hey i always wanted to scrunch my hair but everytime i try it comes out messed up. Any tips=)

well i scrunch my hair with Garnier Fructis Super Stiff Gel: Ultra Strong. What I do is: get in the shower, shampoo and condition like always. Then put Garnier Fructis leave in condition on my hair and comb it out with a wide-toothed comb. and then I rub the gel into my hands and start srunching my hair. Alot of times I go overboard with the gel because if I dont, my hair will get frizzy. If thick scrunches is what you are looking for then my method is perfect for you. However, if you want loose scrunches that look natural, like your hair has no product in it, then I suggest either going easy on the gel or trying another method! Hope this helps!
