What is 48x48 pixels? (link)

alright, 48x48 is how big your image is, and it is the maximum size an icon can be. To make your icon that big in paint, before you make it you have to make your cavas that size.
Go to...
Image-->Attributes
And then put the numbers 48 for both the width and the height.
and voila! you have a 48x48 picture.

Next week is my best friend's birthday. I wanted to get her something that she'd really like so I decided to get her a necklace from Tiffany and Co. I actually like the second one better. It seems that a lot of people I know own the first one, so your friend would be more unique with the second one. Plus, I do like it better.

You have to use a graphics program. Paint is good for simple things, and comes free with a windows computer. Just be sure your picture is saved as a 48x48 pixels (if you don't know what this is, I will give you more details if you ask me a private question, or if you email me at splitzy@gmail.com)

Umm... I know this is corny, but how about their initials, separated by "x3"? So if Jeff's last name was Smith, and Nicole's last name was Baker (just examples), the SN could be like, js x3 nb

MS Paint is free (with microsoft), but you can only make simple icons with it. Paint Shop Pro DOES cost money, but you can get a free trial at www.jasc.com. PSP is my choice of a graphics maker, you can do so many cool things with it!

GIMP is good... but I prefer PSP. Paint Shop Pro is the graphics program I have been using for... about 4 years. It's VERY easy to use, and there are many tutorial sites about it. go to www.jasc.com for more information!

www.geocities.com is fantastic... you can use page wizard where you jsut enter tyhe text you want and it makes your own website, you can use page builder which is a "point and click" webpage, it's VERY easy, and perfect for beginners. There's also the option of creating an HTML website, which is pretty easy once you get the hang of it.

How can I make a really cool background or layout WITHOUT adobe photoshop, or paintshop pro? All i have is the crappy paint that comes with our computer. I can't download new products because our computer is like 10 years old.

Paint can be good... if you know how to use it properly. I used to use paint all the time before I got PSP, so I'm pretty good at it. One layout I love to do with paint is to make stripes. Just use the pen tool to make long vertical stripes. You can make them the same size, different sizes, anything you want! It's all up to you, and it looks pretty good, too.

Okay, so today was the last day of school for me, and yesterday i brought my dad's digital camera (Casio Exilim EX-M2) to take some pictures. well, for some reason the camera began to say "SYSTEM ERROR" after nothing really happened to it. i just tried to turn it on and thats waht it said. I've been trying to figure out a way to reset the camera, or just get it to work agian, but nothing anyone's told me to do has worked. I havent told my dad yet because it's a REALLY expensive camera and he'll kill me. i just need to get it fixed before he find's it broken, I'LL RATE 5 FOR ANY REAL ATTEMPTS TO HELP!! (link)

You'll have to tell him eventually... you can either:
a) bring it to a repair shop. They will be able to tell you what's wrong with your camera
b) tell your dad what happend. If he threatens to kill you, offer to pay for a new camera.

my dog is a 7 month old schnauzer, and he has been throwing up! he also has really bad hip problems. my dad keeps saying he will die really early. i am crying just typing this up. i dont want my puppie to die! does anyone have any helpful tips on how to cure throwing up? my mom said she gave him peptobismol... but he just threw up in my room so i dont know what to do! please help me fast!

The Vet is the only person who can truely help you... professional help will mostly ALWAYS be correct, however, with non professional help you can't always be so sure.

I have a friend moving away to England during the summer (we currently live in America). I want to put together a mix CD for her. Are there any suggestions of songs I should use? Keep in mind that both me and her HATE rap and urbanish songs...

i am getting an mp3 player but im not sure if i want a zen micro or an ipod mini. any recommendations? i like that i can get orange in zen micro when the closest i coould get is gold in an ipod mini. i also like that there is a sound recorder..but i dont think it has any games..which the ipod mini does. please help! And I absolutely LOVE it.
Most people are replying to you saying that you should get an ipod mini, when them themselfs have never used a zen micro! My sister has an ipod mini, and I have a zen micro, so I have used both.
GET THE ZEN!
They look cooler than an ipod. People will love you for being different... whenever I bring my zen to school, many people ask me what it is because it is "so cool". It is also cheaper than an ipod mini. Plus, as someone said before, you can get your music from many places... for example, napster has a program called napster unlimited (or something like that..). You pay $20 everymonth (check the website, I'm not 100% sure on this), and you can download unlimited music, as much as you want, as long as you keep paying the $20 everymonth. It's 100% legal, too.

In your style, I would check out Delia*s. They have really cute vintage stuff... it may be a little too expensive, but it has some nice quality skirts.
Also, Forever 21 has been mentioned before, and it would be perfect for what you are looking for. Cheap, too!

No, it is not "gay". Infact, the only thing I can think of that is gay if when two males love eachother.

I am having trouble, I'm babysitting for my neighbor. This one baby is very weird! She like poops every 5 mins. I do not want to change her diaper(that white thing that goes on her butt so she doesnt poop or pee in her pants). I am in the middle of watching a movie and she keeps crying. One of my mates since she turned 12 has been in too much of a rush to grow up. She won't go to see any PG or U films she said "Im to old for them and im 12 now i don't want to see baby films *SHE WOULDN'T GO AND SEE FINDING NEMO*" It is starting to get on everones nerves. We are all wanting to have a laugh but she takes things to seriously. We have tried talking to her but she won't listen. At christmas i asked her what she got and she said that she doesn't really care about the presents she is mainly trying to help her little brothers out. I know that your suppoesed to do that but this year she will be 13 and a teenager so why can't she just live a little cause this will be her last year as a kid. You only get 1 chance of a childhood why not take it while u can.
