 does anyone know how to make icons? what program do i need and do i have to buy it? plz help! i'll rate!

MS Paint is free (with microsoft), but you can only make simple icons with it. Paint Shop Pro DOES cost money, but you can get a free trial at www.jasc.com. PSP is my choice of a graphics maker, you can do so many cool things with it!
