k so my mom is FINALLY letting me get highlights.(at a salon) :) my hair is like, a medium brown so i was wondering what color highlights would look good. i was thinking like,a reddish brown color or maybe light brown? i have no idea what color i should do. what do you think would look good?

My hair is lgith brown. Well it used to be. I dyed it blonde, but anyway before i dyed it blonde i got reddish highlights. I got a lot of compliments saying it looked good. I dunno if you wanna try this, but i also got purple highlights at one point. Which i got even more complimetns for. Hope I helped

Yeah i am a 20/m i am a isolated iceberg of a human being, i only respond to certain personalities. I am easy going, ethical and loyal type of person but i seem to have difficulty finding people that have the same interests as me. I like lots of things and all i ask is any friend of mine does not talk about sexual crap with me or make insulting comments. I dont care about age or gender i will be friends with pretty much anyone except have to be younger than 25. Plus where does one go to make friends there are no clubs where i live no hang out spots that interest me. Anyone got any creative ideas on how to make new friends? well you can find friends almost anywhere. Stores that you like, going to the movies, the mall. Be outgoing if you see someone that you think is worth talking to then go talk to them. The worse that could happen is you guys don't get along. Then try again. Maybe you should try opening up to more personalities. Only responding to certain personalities could be your problem. Also you could make a website. Myspace.com is a great way to make friends. Hope i helped

Ok, here's the dealio...woah, this is really weird but I have a boyfriend and his best friend is going out with my best friend. So once I wasn't in my right mind and made out with his best friend. He found out. He got mad inside but didnt tell me how mad he was until today. Then he and my best friend made out kinda like to get back at me. This is a long distance relationship by the way, but only by like 40 minutes. We all sat down and talked and know how truely sorry everyone is. My best friend and her boyfriend and I are all being very forgiving because we believe that everyone deserves a second chance. My boyfriend, however, is not being so forgiving. He wants to "take a break" and "see how things go". I really want to tell him I'm sorry, which I've already done, but I want to make something special. you're 5'1 and 13. 130 punds is normal. you don't need to lose anything, but if you really feel the need to then don't lose more then 10 cause lower then 120 at your age and with your heaight is really unhealthy. If you have a pool then you could do laps in that. That helped me a lot. Your workout plan seems fine, but you shouldn't lose 20. It's not healthy.

well if you really like her then you should talk to her brother. See how he'll feel about it. If he's ok with it then ask him to see how she feels about you. IF he's not ok with it then i wouldn't ruin your friendsship with him by asking her out.

well i've been reading those Left Behind books and it got me thinking.. There is a priest in there who was left behind in the rapture because he believed in God but it's almost as if he was ashamed of it kinda and didn't want people to know. And i feel like im the same way.

I mean people know i go to church and believe in God but i do alot of bad things [nothing sexual] and now im scared that when the rapture comes i'll be left behind.

So can someone tell me what i can do to be a better Christian and how to get these thoughts out of my head?

i know how you feel.I'm a christian but i also hate going to church. It doesn't make you a bad person. I've read the left behind books and just to let you know he wasn;t a preist but he worked at the church. He was like a deacon or something. Anyway, when it comes to the rapture, you have nothing to worry about. If you truly beleive in God and he really does live in your heart then you won't get left behind. Okay... well this will probably be long, so i'm sorry, but i really need help!!

So I had a boyfriend and we were going out for like 3 months. He was perfect. There aren't any other guys like him out there.

But just this week, he dumped me. He said that it was because he felt awkward around me because we didn't ever know what to say around each other. He said that it wasn't because he didn't like me and that he still does, and he isn't going to ask any other girls out. But I really miss him... you dont understand... no matter how hard i tried, i feel like i did something wrong and i wish i could just change it and go back. i love him so much! He was sooo perfect! Well, if he still likes you then there is definetly hope. Try to talk to him as much as possible. Think of anything to say and say it. Talk about anything you can think of, like: school, sports, movies, music. Anything. Make sure he knows you still like him. Eventually he will realize that there is a lot to talk about with you and if he really does still like you then he'll ask you out again. If he doesn't then i'm sorry to say maybe there is more of a reason he broke up with you that he isn't telling you. Hope I helped.

well i need major help
-i don't know what to do because my parents dont except me and i dont kn ow how to make them
-i have been grounded for 3 weeks because i didnt go to tutoring and they did it purposely to ruin my social life
-they even told me that they were taking my social life away.

Parents can sometimes suck. Talk to your mom about how she tells all of her friends. Tell her that if she wants to trust you then you need to be able to trust her. Maybe you could try to get into an after school activity so you won't have to be home as much. Make a deal with your mom. Tell her that you will try to talk to her sometimes about your life, but only what you want to tell her. I had the exact same prblem with my parents I told them that there's a reason I don't tell them everything and I promised them that I wouldn't completely shut them out of my life, but I would only let them in on MY terms. I think a lot of people would care if you got shot. Life probably sucks now, but it'll get better. Hope I helped.

i like this guy in my english class and were working on this project together. its so much fun i love being around him and we have good conversation. im worried though becuase friday is the presentation for our project and when its over i dont want things to be like they used to when we didnt talk much. i think he may like me but im not bold enough to ask him out. i dont know what to do about it! please help!

It's good that your not planning on getting drunk cause it's not fun the next day and most people makes fools of themselves when their drunk. I've been drunk before so i know. Anyway. Just tell your friend again and beg her not to leave you, and tell her that if she really wants to then to introduce you to more people before she does. I don't usually confront boys about how they feel about me. i've known this one boy for about 3 weeks, and we've talked every single day and before it used to be like we were rushing to talk to each other. we had amazing conversations.

this week, there has been a decline. i can tell that we both don't really put our all into conversations, that there are bigger priorities in terms of people to talk to. so i called him, and asked him what he thought we were, just friends?

he told me "yeah.. we're just friends.. but whatever happens..happens.." "of course we'll be friends, but down the line, i don't know."

what is that supposed to mean? can you break it down for me, because when it happens to me i have such a hard time understanding exactly what he means by that!

I'm pretty sure that he wants a little more than to be just friends. If he just wanted to be friends then he wouldn't of said whatever happens happens and he doesn't know what will happen down the line. I think he wants for to happen, but he's just not ready to take the leap of asking you out. Heres my story; I know its long and I'm truly sorry but I could really use some help.

I used to be good friends with bailea and ashley; however about a week ago I stopped sitting with them at lunch and sat with my best friends Holly-Beth and Kaitlyn and that whole crowd. Well HB and Kaitlyn are my best friends and I only have one class with them ( I have ALL my classes with Ash and Bailea) and I really like sitting with HB and Kaitlyn at lunch cause we have so much in common. However Bailea and ashley hate me now; they wont admit it but I know they do. Bailea and I used to share lockers and now she moved outta my locker; she refuses to be my partner in any class; if im in a conversation she'll completley ignore me; and she'll do just about whatever it is she can to not be around me.

My problem is; in a lot of my classes theres only a few girls and Bailea and Ashley are my only "friends" in those classes (all the other girls are in like a lil group of geeks and i cant stand them) So now in half my classes if we do group/partner work im left without a partner. Usually I have no trouble making friends im actually really outgoing and i have alot of friends; but this whole situation of them hating me, me being ditched, and such is truly getting my life down. I dread science class cause there the only two other girls in that class so now I'm the loser left out. PLEASE HELP =D

talk to bailea and ashley..tell them how you feel about things..maybe invite them both to your house for a sleepover..you don't need to sit at one paricualr spot in lunch..you can switch one say sit at one table and the next sit at the other..or eat at one table then go back and forth talking at both tables..that's basically what i do in lunch..i switch between 5 different tables..i hope i helped..bye bye

Ok soI like this guy and i have liked him forever and i meen forever! and well now he goes to a different school and i never see him and the other day i was in a buddy chat with him and my 2 oother friends and the guy i like got mad and i felt bad and called him and told him i was sorry and he said he had to go. 1. It's cool that you like him even though he's a jerk because it mean there is something there that you can see that no one else can..even if you don't realize it..you have feelings for him because he obviously has some good qualities and you can see that

2. easy..you can't stop think about him because i like him so much..it happens..it's hard to stop and you probably won't stop until you stop liking him..and who knows if that'll ever happen

3. basically it's the same answer as number 2..you obviously really like this guy..he can't be all bad

4. i am not sure why your depressed but it could be because he still likes his old girlfriend..you really like him but he still likes his girlfriend..that's something that could get you depressed..also you said he's mean to you..that could also be why..you should talk to him..try to get passed his jerky exterior..find out what he's really all about..maybe you'll be taking the place of his ex
